Hello. I have the Thunderer, in my opinion that's still a good ship. I use it with a level 12 commander, with APCS, additional DFA and sonar, improvements of DFA skills. And all the other skills of the commander are for survivability. I play HE and AP, depending on target, range and if enemies DD are still alive. To me the most big problem is the turret traverse speed. If we move to fast, on a turn, impossible to shot. For that I don't use dispersion, like my other T10 BB (exception Kremlin with reload) but turret traverse speed to be able to use my guns fast, because with this ship I try to always stay in move, because armor... 😂
Sadly, the Thunderer has effectively been mothballed - it’s just a very passive ship to play, all you have is damage over time from fires, and if you play randoms and have a team of potatoes there isn’t much you can do. I have the Incomparable as well, so if I play an RN premium at t10 there just isn’t much competition.
Thunderer is still good. I just had a game the other day with 16 fires and 45k fire damage. It's AP sucks but but the HE has like an 1800 per shell damage, with the highest fire chance of all battleship caliber guns, with penetration like an AP shell without overpens, and like a 17 second reload time. Lord Nelson is almost tailor-made for this ship enhancing it's healing ability and and improving the already stupid good HE to just meme levels. Plus also having excellent concealment and the highest maneuverability among all tier 10 BBs. Thunderer is a solid pick overall
I have not been playing the game much recently, but the Thunderer for me still hasn’t lost it. I have been doing worse in it than I have previously, but that’s just because I’m washed and can’t aim as well. The he pressure of thunderer is just so nice when sniping, and it still is very tanky.
Thunderer is just the sad ship at this point, AP is pointless, HE is still something , but shit shell velocity and deceleration allows time for the shells to disperse , which makes the dispersion worse. There is just no point in playing this ship now, unless you are a masochist. Oh ye, not getting buffed anytime soon because CN devs still think Thunderer is strong among all tier X BBs.
I have the Thunderer and I don't have many battles with it. If I'm going to play with AP ammunition then I'll play with the Ohio which offers a better set... Playing with fires I think it's interesting, but I think I'd go with the Conqueror
Now I understand why the Thunderer in Blitz has relative low alpha AP dmg and pen value. Or else she would be suffering the same reputation as on PC lol...

IF HE+ on thunderer makes it's HE better but AP can kind of work on thunderer
Monarch and up is dead with the new battlecruiser tech line.
Monarch is the only one that can chill with the new BCs haha

Isn't St Vincent better in PC anyways because of how comically broken she is there
