What a brilliant and comprehensive guide Llama. Love it. I learned smth new, about the Super Uniques "stealing" unique mob slots. I have 2 important things to add: 1) People often forget that past 25, a penalty for being below monster level still exists. It does, and it's why Diablo and Nihlathak gave more XP than Baal when you were levelling to 99. 2) The >70 "penalty" was only added for compatibility, to slow down levelling in patch 1.10. In the ideal world they would just increase the amount of XP for those levels to make everything clear and consistent without unnecessary multipliers; but because characters from before need to not break, they couldn't do it, thus the "penalty" instead.
Fun tidbits! And yes good point there is still a penalty but it is much less of an issue after 25 thankfully That one graph with all the % exp per act and level would've probably been good to show

2 pro types i would like to add 1: I would suggest to keep the gidbinn quest and farm the boss pack over and over again while farming the flayer jungle. 2: Doing the ancients at 20 with any caster, kill baal then making cow runs 21 to 25-27.
Another thing about the Players X is that you can also think of it like this. The enemies might give 300% experience with 300% life, but you can think of it (as far as experience goes) like 300% density. Again, not necessarily for drops, but for experience, sure.

Online, it's just logistically easier to Baal run to 95/96. Ideally you are doing TZ in a full P8 game and doing the TZ solo, but EVERYONE is also trying to do that. So it's hard. But its easy to host Baal and fill up P8 games and run Baal in 95/96. When the TZ is bad, its easier to do Baal. 97+ you are really hoping to join Baal runs or cow runs to do the TZ. The addition of TZs has really made the grind to 99 online realistic, but it's still a challenge for most folks. Thanks for the vid, Cheers!
God I did 97-99 online solely in P1 SSF a few seasons back, and I think it took me like 10 days of 10 hours a day. Actually crazy how many runes you end up finding like that though. Made enigma/hoto/and 2x cta along the way, and tossed an infinity/phoenix to a druid alt when I finished on the pally.

act5 depends. if you want to overlevel before Baal, then after around clvl34 it's better to move on from Eldritch and go to rescue Anya. faster leveling on Pindle to around 40 and two drops instead of one.
Absolutely! Pindle is lvl 45, Eldritch 34 (as Llama showed in the vid), so you can farm him much longer. What did you mean "two drops instead of one"? Both of them are superuniques, they both drop 2 items. (Champions drop 1).

Every long term GGG dev was and is a massive Diablo 2 fan. I still like D2 more than PoE 1 but hoping I can finally get into PoE 2 like Diablo 2 hooked me.
I wanted to make a Mosaic Assa for a long time but I get bored and quit trying to get through Hell / farming, then the season ends and repeating everything to end in the middle of hell again makes the game really boring :/
Would you consider making a beginners guide to understand this game fully ? I have played this when I was a kid but I never engaged or understood what makes it so repayable. I have been no lifeing PoE2 and I wanted to go back on the roots and see more for myself.
Wish they remove the player count option for singleplayer. I think that abusing it by changing it constantly is cheesy and makes world records hard to actually feel comparable. Its like having a sport where some countries abuse steroides. Kinda wow, thats fast but there is always that one but...

Recommended level ranges for progressing through certain areas? Tips to complete the objectives to get to the boss quickly for example In act 2 and 3? I literally left the video with no new direction on how to approach leveling in d2, except monster xp values and player scaling…

You can also hero edit your hero to be lvl 99 if u wana cheat.

I wanted to make a Mosaic Assa for a long time but I get bored and quit trying to get through Hell / farming, then the season ends and repeating everything to end in the middle of hell again makes the game really boring :/

Would you consider making a beginners guide to understand this game fully ? I have played this when I was a kid but I never engaged or understood what makes it so repayable. I have been no lifeing PoE2 and I wanted to go back on the roots and see more for myself.

honestly pretty similar. Monster density increases but you're still getting awesome exp in these areas except obviously no terrorzones exist
