Almost finished my first bunny! Thank you for such easy to follow instructions ! This project has been a Godsend, literally. I am in the early stages of battling a life threatening autoimmune disease called Scleroderma. Crocheting helps take my mind off the chaos going on in my body. Plus, it acts as therapy for my hands which are trying to harden and become claw like. It is a bit painful; however the end project will be worth it and keeps me motivated . Making bunnies for my future grandchild (no pregnancy yet), who I hope and pray to be able to meet. Your tooth fairy is next. I think it is special to leave a legacy and what greater gift than to gift a homemade cuddly! One request, can you to a kitty pattern and tutorial? Maybe white paws and black body. I DO have Grandkitties and my adult son and his wife loves them. Thanks again..... patience and perseverance, keys to life and crucial when learning to crochet. Live, laugh, love and create. Life IS too short !

Hi Paula! Thank you SO much for your heartwarming comment. My Nana taught me to crochet and it is so special to me to be able to share my creations with others. I'm sorry to hear about your health issues, but am sending positive, healing and loving energy your way. I'm so happy you're enjoying the bunny and tooth fairy patterns! I did it! I made a bunny for my niece's first Easter! I embroidered the eyes, because she's only 2 weeks old. I made a pom pom out of the yarn I used for the bunny, so the bunny has a little fluffy tail. I also made a little scarf for the bunny (just a row of half double crochets). My 4th amigurumi ever! Thank you for this adorable pattern.

I am making two for baby showers. I used the safety eyes, but after giving them a really good tug, they were easy to pull out, so I figured these were not safe for babies. Very easy to follow for a VERY NEW crochet-er!! Seriously, I crocheted a wash cloth when I was 8 and that was almost 40 years ago. Haven’t touched a crochet hook since with the exception of a couple of knitting projects. My bunny ears turned out different sizes but that’s just because I didn’t follow your directions. I attached one as a flop ear and it looks adorable. The legs appear to be inside out but I’m okay with that too. Fun, easy, one day project!!

For everyone who are having a trouble with the magic ring you guys can do a normal 2 single crochets then, insert the hook in the first chain made and do 6 single crochet in it and it will work like a magic ring you of course can use this with many projects

Thank you! I don't currently have a floppy ear tutorial but I imagine you could pin down the ears with a stitch or two for the bent floppy look.

I was asked to give a how to crochet a rabbit lesson (for Easter, during April)) for the Ladies group of a spanish (I live in PR) christian church I go to. This kind of activity is done once a month and either assigned to someone within the group or invite someone (we have had a painting lesson, how to do soaps and candles, there is a diversity of things we can do in a church, with the talents/knowledge the Lord has given us). I have been crocheting since I was nine years old. Have done hats, scarfs, rompers, handbags, baby dresses, shalls, baby shoes/sandles, head bands, bottle covers, turtle crochet keychains, etc., but never a amagarumi. I'm halfway through with the rabbit head, then the ears to fill it out and put it all together. I'm amazed of the outcome. Since I will be distributing copies of the instructions, I already have translated them to Spanish and will be giving out typed photocopies to the ladies. They are going to love it, especially when they see the one I've done. Thank you for sharing your talent.
