I’ve been looking for a pattern for an Easter amigurumi toy for weeks now and this became IT today! This is my first ever toy after teaching myself to crochet 6 months ago. I’ve been very afraid of them, so I needed something simple enough for a beginner and easy enough to understand from the video. Thank you so very much! I’m 72yo and taught myself right-handed (I’m a leftie), all from TH-cam videos. Your instructions and demos were crystal clear and I made the cutest bunny out of Bernat Blanket yarn, light teal. I only had this one ball of plush yarn so when it came to the tail, I used white worsted 4 yarn with two strands held together to make it thicker. After finishing, I notice the tail is definitely not in the center, which I see others have commented on. I will fix that on my next bunny. I had a hard time working with the 5mm hook on plushie yarn, so bumped it up to 6.5mm, knowing the bunny would come out bigger (I’m okay with that). I plan to practice making a couple more of these and I know I will improve on each one. This one is going to an 18 month old toddler that I know will love this squishy toy and not judge me. 😂 Since I’m brand new to toys, I wasn’t sure about the amount of stuffing to use, so I had to make some adjustments when closing the bottom (more decreases). I agree with other comments about not knowing how to sew on the ears, so that could be better. I may go watch other videos on sewing parts together on toys. I had to laugh that the ears aren’t the same size and yet my bunny has so much character! Thank you again for giving me this enjoyable experience. Keep up the good work!
I just finished this cute little bunny! I used 8/6 cotton yarn with a 2.75 hook. It made a precious 2" bunny (not including height for the ears). The tiny bunny now is my computer buddy as it sits at the top of the keyboard area. I couldn't be happier! THANK YOU for the tutorial!
As someone who's been completely confused by what an increase, single crochet and double crochet etc were, this is extremely helpful! You explained it so clearly! I was watching this to get a feel if i could hack this before trying as a beginner and I'm definitely going to give this a go! ❤
Just so stinking adorable. Going to make a few for my great grandson. Great video. What I did was stuffed the bunny. But didn't close itnup yet. Set the ears in place, took out the stuffing sewed the ears on then replaced the stuffing and sealed the bottom.
one of the best crocheting tutorials ive watched in a while. tho i have to say this, i crocheted what looks like a turd. it looks sooo ugly with thin string i think that was my mistake. i made the body, looked at it, looked at yours, then went to the bathroom and sobbed cause i wasted an 1hr of my night just to crochet a 4 inch ball of dookie
I laughed so hard at this comment, but the best part is that it’s funny ‘cause it’s true… I’m very new to crochet and I’m too making little turds and sobbing in the middle of the night😂
Perfect video for a beginner, after failing at making a magic ring watching other youtuber tutorial and then after watching your video was able to do in one go, pretty helpful thanks
My bunny turned about so cute, and you are the FIRST crocheter that has actually helped me crochet a plushie with no errors, you also explained everything so well with detail so I thank you so much! Your now my favorite crocheter!! ❤❤
Your teaching method is superfun i literally stopped the video and really wanted to appreciate your style of teaching i have a humble request please make more videos like that please you are amazing❤
This was just perfect! Very easy to follow. I just started last January with crocheting, but had no trouble following along. Already looking forward to your next vid. Made two bunnies: one with soft snuggly yarn on hook 6mm and one with cotton on hook 2,50 mm. World of difference, but both very cute!
Your video was so great! I’m new at crocheting and you taught me great techniques. I made 2 for each of my grandkids and they loved them! I did end up with a slightly pointed head so for 2nd bunny I skipped the first row and it worked great.. like you I like to stuff well but ended up stuffing one so much that I had trouble doing the mouth.
I am very much a beginner, But have quickly formed an obsession. This project was super fun, totally adorable, and your instructions were very clear, helpful, and at the perfect speed. I would also love to see how you sew the ears on. I think I did a pretty good job but like I said it's all new to me. My little bunny is purple and Squishy and so cute❤🐰 My son named her Jasmine😄 Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this adorable pattern! I made a light pink bunny today with a hard nose down one row under the eyes, and added a line down underneath the nose and slightly upturned mouth at the bottom of the nose line on both sides. I also added cheeks under the eyes. Wish I could share a picture with you.
Thank you so much for the video! I bought the pattern from your Etsy store and I found it well written and easy to follow. Having the video here to refer to when in doubt about how to proceed was a great help as well.
Had a lot of fun making this. I learned how to crochet yesterday so i just made this today. The tutorial was really helpful and i learned whan an increase and decrease stitch was
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I’ve never done very much crocheting and I was able to follow your fantastic instructions. You made it super easy with super clear instructions followed by the video! Amazing!
Thank you so much for the great tutorial. You were so clear with explaining the stitches and easy to follow along with. My pink bunny came out so cute. I added a cute flower to the side of her ear that added a nice touch. I will be making more for Easter. Keep up the great work. I will look for more of your tutorials. Thanks for sharing. 🥰
Thank you so much for the kind words!! I’m so happy you enjoyed the tutorial!! I love that you added a little flower to your bunny, that sounds so cute!!🐰🌸🌷
This is the best crochet video I’ve seen - all my questions were answered and very easy to follow! I normally get frustrated and stop with the crochet altogether ! So excited to have found your channel!
EXCELLENT tutorial - please consider filming more! You do a wonderful job of explaining each step, making sure we can follow along. Thank you for sharing!!
This was a great tutorial. I am also a fairly new crocheter. But, I found your tutorial really easy to follow. I am almost finished my bunny. I hope you do more tutorials for different seasons. Thank you!
My bunny turned out so adorable!❤ I did mine all white with a pink safety nose instead of embroidering it. You did a great job with this tutorial! Thank you
I made this today. Turned out too cute ❤. Thank you for the amazing and clear tutorial. I've used 6.5 mm hook with nast and haven plush and cuddly yarn may be in weight 6 bulky. My bunny turned out to be pretty big. I've used almost 80 gm of yarn .
I just love you tutorial and how you guide us through every step I did mine it doesn’t look exactly like yours I need more practice but it’s the first one I finish. Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤
I was able to make a bunny for my mom with this awesome tutorial, I just subscribed to this channel. Thank you, for your sharing your crochet skill and for sharing your time with the tutorial.❤
Wow! You’re such an awesome instructor, usually when I tried to do other patterns I could NOT figure them out (I’m a COMPLETE beginner) but I finished this pattern in 2 days and it turned out SO cute I’m very proud of this piece, also for your first time this is amazing tutorial. Keep on making these, I’m so excited for another!! 🧡🧡🧶🧶
Amazing tutorial and super easy to make! I just made my first proper amigurumi and it's adorable, tutorial is also very clear (especially with the warning about the popcorn stitch!) my only suggestion is that I truly hate (and suck at) sewing so sewing the ears on the tutorial would have been a great help. Many thanks!
Just finished making my bunny. Very easy to follow if you know the basic stitches already. However, as a beginner, I really need the step by step on sewing and that of course that was off camera 😭 So please please please do NOT skip the sewing part!!! I might try do bobble stitches (5 half double crochets in the same stitch) for the arms, legs, and tail when I make another one. Thank you so much for the tutorial. I learned how to do a popcorn stitch. Happy crocheting!
This is a really easy bunny to make and it is sooooo cute. My daughter is learning to crochet and this suits her really well. I like how you take the time to explain the stitches particularly the popcorn stitch. Before doing the popcorn stitch I put a marker on the 2nd stitch from the hook and then I start the popcorn stitch ( After doing the popcorn stitch I can easily see where to put my first sc for the 13 sc before the next popcorn stitch because I had put the marker in 2nd stitch from my hook.) Then I put another marker in the first dc of the popcorn stitch. Once the 5 dc stitches are done I can see where to put my hook through, I pull the stitch through the marked dc stitch and leave the marker on that dc stitch so that I see it when I do the next round.
Thx for the tut, I made a bunny for my sister and one for my cousin, going to my cousins house is 2 hours away from were I live, and I finished it in 1 hr. It's his birthday and I haven't seen him in 2 years. And I wanted to give him something that make. So I found this video and I love it❤
I made 2 bunnies the first one I didn’t follow the directions to the T but he is still cute my second bunny is adorable. I’m new to crocheting, your direction were so helpful when I followed correctly 😂
Love your pattern. Thought I share a different R12 (I think because of tension) 2 sc, popcorn white, 12 sc, popcorn, 5 sc, popcorn, 10 sc (32). With yours my feet and tail were in the wrong placement to make it look right. Thanks so much.
This tutorial was well done, until the very end! The one thing I really have difficulty with is sewing the ears to the head, and you chose to do that off camera. 😪
Oh no I apologize for that! I didn’t realize people would find it helpful so I skipped past it, but I hear you! I’ll make sure to show the sewing process on camera in my next tutorials
Seriously well done the girl was showing everything is a very detailed voice I was finding a very easy tutorial for my besties birthday gift but can we also use a thinner yawr
One of the best crochet tutorials i've ever seen! You showed everything so well, i don't even had so slow down the video (which i normally have to); tysm!! ❤ Just one thing: Sewing the ears on was kinda hard without you showing 🥲
I love your video! I do wish you had shown sewing on the ears, since sewing on amigurumi doesn't come naturally for me. That's why I have just done no sew, but I thought I would try this one since it's low sew, but the sewing wasn't shown. Could you please do a video where you show the sewing? Now I have two ears waiting for help. Thanks!
I used King Cole “Yummy” yarn in Battenberg with a 4mm hook and it turned out beautifully. I used kawaii safety eyes, glued on a felt nose and it’s so cute ❤️. Thanks for the tutorial.
This was a fantastic tutorial! I love how in-depth you went in making sure we beginners understood the more complicated stitches. Definitely adding this to my to-crochet list, they're so cute! ^^
I had a very limited color, like, just black, red, and beige... made a fully black rabbit with red eyes, now I got a spooky evil bunny accompanying my desk. I love it xD
Absolutely a BIG well done for this video tutorial. My adorable mini bunny came out super adorable- been wanting to crochet one of these for quite some time. BIG THANK YOU ❤ Plus - New subscriber!!!
Thank you so much for the video and pattern. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I really wished you would’ve show how to sew the ears because I have no experience with that so that was really the part I struggled with 😅

I’ve also seen an Easter peep bunny crochet tutorial
This tutorial is by far one of the best ones I’ve seen! I love the detail of the steps and good close ups! Thank you!!
Great pattern❤
how do you do the ears
Thank you, I made 3 bunnies for my grandchildren, lovely pattern, I also bought the written one on etsy.
Best tutorial with very clear instructions, close-up stictches shown perfectly!! Thank you Danika!!
As someone who's been completely confused by what an increase, single crochet and double crochet etc were, this is extremely helpful! You explained it so clearly! I was watching this to get a feel if i could hack this before trying as a beginner and I'm definitely going to give this a go! ❤

Oh nooooo😭😭 I bet it’s still cute tho! And the more you practice to better you’ll get! My first amigurumis were pretty deformed 😂
I laughed so hard at this comment, but the best part is that it’s funny ‘cause it’s true… I’m very new to crochet and I’m too making little turds and sobbing in the middle of the night😂
i have thin yarn too and what i did was put in some extra rounds/rows. i may not be done yet but so far its looking good

I second your comment! I'm also a beginner and often struggle with crooked sewing. Adding this step will help. 🤩
After hours of watching your video , I finally made the bunny! 💜🐰🎉🎉🎉🎊. I am soo happy and excited to show it to my mom!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It was my first time ever doing crochet and found this so easy to follow.

GREAT JOB! Love the speed, close ups of work and language used. So cute too.
Thank you so much!! My goal was to be as precise and to the point as possible hehe
@@danikamakesthings it worked! Well done. I wish other crocheters on You Tube would be as precise and conscientious as you.
My first amigurumi project ever I’ve attempted many but this is the first tutorial I could understand. Thank you!!!

How was this easy I couldn't even understand how to do the magic ring and I tried for like 30 minutes
This is a GREAT tutorial. The way you explained the magic ring makes sense to me. I’m excited to make this cute bunny.

What a brilliant teacher ❤ Thank you so much for sharing ❤ My bunny turned out super cute 😊
Thank you SO much for a great tutorial! My little bunny came out great! Your clear instruction was the key to my success! :)
This was such a fun tutorial, thank you so much, I didn't find a need to cut the yarn when doing the tail, just carry it and continue😊
Great tutorial! I can’t wait until my yarn arrives so that I can get started on mine.
This was a fantastic video! You were fun to follow and the 1st bunny I made is so adorable. Thankyou so much
This is a really great tutorial - I am an absolute beginner! I did mess up a few times with counting stitches, but practice makes perfect!
Super cute, super easy! You are a really good teacher! Thank you for making this video. I look forward to more.🙂
This is a really easy bunny to make and it is sooooo cute. My daughter is learning to crochet and this suits her really well. I like how you take the time to explain the stitches particularly the popcorn stitch.
Before doing the popcorn stitch I put a marker on the 2nd stitch from the hook and then I start the popcorn stitch ( After doing the popcorn stitch I can easily see where to put my first sc for the 13 sc before the next popcorn stitch because I had put the marker in 2nd stitch from my hook.)
Then I put another marker in the first dc of the popcorn stitch. Once the 5 dc stitches are done I can see where to put my hook through, I pull the stitch through the marked dc stitch and leave the marker on that dc stitch so that I see it when I do the next round.
What an absolutely amazing tutorial. Thank you so much for your time on this. The bunny is super cute!
Thank you so much!! It was definitely worth all the time and effort💗🥹
I think this video is wonderful! Easy to follow, clear instructions, helpful and clear demonstrations. Keep it up! 👍
Thx for the tut, I made a bunny for my sister and one for my cousin, going to my cousins house is 2 hours away from were I live, and I finished it in 1 hr. It's his birthday and I haven't seen him in 2 years. And I wanted to give him something that make. So I found this video and I love it❤
LOVE this pattern, made two in different yarn sizes and customised faces, suuuper cute, thank you sm!💖💖
I made 2 bunnies the first one I didn’t follow the directions to the T but he is still cute my second bunny is adorable. I’m new to crocheting, your direction were so helpful when I followed correctly 😂
Good job!! Making amigurumi plushies as a beginner can be soooo challenging, so the fact that you completed 2 bunnies is amazing!!💗
I just finished making this bunny and it's so cute thanks for the tutorial ❤
I've never made a toy but I think this is one I should begin with. It's just so cute! Tfs.
Yeah I had the same issue lol😂 I had my BFF try to help me
For your first tutorial you did a great job!
Could you make a video just on the ears and put that on another TH-cam video.
If it helps, aswell as placing each ear on round two if you line them up so they’re directly in line with the eyes it’s makes it a bit easier.
THANK YOU! It was my first ever amigurumi and it turned out so cute!
Thank you! Just finished my bunny. Great and easy tutorial😊🐰
This was such a wonderful tutorial!!!Thank you so much for it!!! 😍 I had so much fun crocheting and the bunny turned out really cute 🥹💕
Thank u! You're a GREAT amigurumi instructor! Please make more tutorials 🤩
Thank you!! That’s all the encouragement I need, I will definitely make it my goal to make more soon!😊
Seriously well done the girl was showing everything is a very detailed voice I was finding a very easy tutorial for my besties birthday gift but can we also use a thinner yawr
Why my bunny lowkey got a bbl 💀
Same, like why is it THICC. It makes no sense.😂
One of the best tutorials I have seen so far! Thank you 😊
10:56 was well explained it was hard
The video is excelent explained, clear n simple I really enjoy making this bunny with you keep up doing it it’s great congratulations 🎉
Hello I wanted to say that this was a great pattern and inspired me to make my own pattern for a new bunny
One of the best crochet tutorials i've ever seen! You showed everything so well, i don't even had so slow down the video (which i normally have to); tysm!! ❤ Just one thing: Sewing the ears on was kinda hard without you showing 🥲
the popcorn stitch made me wanna quit crocheting for a while lmao but i figured it out and i love it! ❤️
Thank you for the tutorial! I made a cute bunny out of leftover yarn from a blanket.
That’s amazing!! Good idea, these bunnies are the perfect project for using up scrap/leftover yarn😊
Fabulous tutorial! I have it figured out! TFS.
Will definitely be making this pattern.
Thanks so much for this, it was a very easy tutorial to follow. And such a cute bunny!
My own second reminder
I have done 1 round single crochet for round 10, need to do 11 now ❤
Thank you! Very easy to follow and it only took an hour!!! I am making at least 10!
Omg amazing, you’re so quick!! Hehe sounds like you’ll have a whole army of bunnies soon 😋
Great tutorial! I think showing how you sew on the ears would be helpful, because it seems most crocheters don't like to sew.
Oh my gosh! I love them they’re so cute. Very well explained. Thank you for the tutorial ! 🐰🐇🐰🐇🥰

Thank you so much for the video and pattern. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I really wished you would’ve show how to sew the ears because I have no experience with that so that was really the part I struggled with 😅
