  • If you want to buy natural Sapphire jewelry, this video tutorial is for you. In my experience, before you buy a Sapphire, it is important to decide between a heated or unheated natural sapphire, which sapphire shade you prefer and understand Sapphire’s grading system. And that is exactly how this Sapphire buying guide is structured. I will take you on a journey of all sapphire color shades. I will then deep-dive in various blue sapphire shades (e.g. cornflower blue, royal blue, pastel blue, greenish-blue sapphires)and explain how this is a strong indicator of Sapphire’s origin (e.g. Ceylon (Sri Lanka), Madagascar, Thailand). This will give you a basic understanding of how to grade a natural Sapphire as a Natural AA, AAA or AAAA Sapphire where Natural AAAA is the most desirable. All in all, I hope this video will enable you to make an informed decision while buying Sapphire jewelry.

So you heat your sapphires? That's disappointing 😞

"synthetic sapphires are made in labratory and should never be put in fine jewelry"

Synthetic sapphires are more perfect and beautiful than natural.
