    Happy to see you recovering so well!
    Reclining here with my headphones on and the rain coming down on your roof is actually louder than the shot!
    I’m sure it would be an amazing hunting bow!

    Excellent review. And the sound quality in this video is so much better for whatever reason. 👍👍

    Absolutely love my Era , I've shot alot of hunting bows over the years and this would have to be the best most controllable bow I've shot , supa quiet , aims extremely well and was a piece of cake to set up . Great adjustability . Well worth considering .

      I loved tuning the Omnia it that video. It made other systems seem so dated and so much hassle. I loved the Carbon on the cold day of filming.

    Like you, I have never had a problem with shooting multiple arrows at the same spot. I care less if and when any are destroyed. Lol, something satisfying about a cluster of shafts. Unless I’m using broadheads.

    I always appreciate your honest reviews so I was hoping you'd weigh in on the Era. I'm considering upgrading my 2018 PSE Carbon Air 32 ECS. While I have loved that bow for the light weight while chasing elk, I don't like its noise and hand shock. Got to shoot the Era next to my PSE and the difference was astounding. The Era is truly dead in the hand and much quieter, as you mention. My only nit-pick complaint--I wish it came in some camo finish options.

    Hi Steve, you are looking good mate it's great to see I have some heart issues myself to deal with over the next year I hope it goes as well as it seems to have gone for you.

      It's been a trying. I still have pain, I cant do a bench press yet. Archery building up, but because you still have chest pain it is much harder with the recurve. I suppose about expectations. I had no idea what to expect - part of the reason why I did the series of videos. I suppose you just work to improve - eat healthier, lift what you can, do what you can and hopefully it becomes easier each day. I think the treadmill has been great in pushing it.

    Looking good, Steven . 😉Indeed would be interesting to do a comparison with the new Bowtech Carbon One. Sure, these carbon bows are nice, but note that they are a short ATA, so designed for hunting, 3D etc etc.

      Thanks - improving each day. It is strange before I would have expectations on my shooting - now Im just happy to get out and shoot. The Carbon One came in today. So next week I get to try it. The Bowtech's have been selling well with the new finish.

    Does anyone have the Era with a 30.5” draw length? I have the Ethos which I really like, but I have also shot the Era and love the way it shoots, the feel, and the weight. Just not sure how the peep would line up at that string angle.

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale

      I think Mathews have dropped off because of the draw length adjustment. It has been really hard selling what I have in stock. Most are well below cost. No one seems to be shooting them here or asking for them. Few shops in Australia seem to be stocking them now. Very limited stock in australia. I had a new second hand TRX in the shop at half price with all custom gear on it and I could not move it. I think it sold to NZ today.

    The best bow is just someone's opinion. I love my mathews V3X 29 i think that is the best bow. I think my back up bow my bowtech revolt is awesome too. People shoot what makes you happy.

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale
      @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale  ปีที่แล้ว

      The V3X is nice. The issue archers have with it and I had 3 customers in today who use to own them. The all had the same issues, modules are a pain and the grip. The Tunning of Elite and Bowtech is amazing. The Top hat system you would need to be a fan.

    Steve,see you are replacing many pins and nocks. Penalty of having good form? Have you tried the WA strip or the Vegas triangle. Separate spot prevents damaged arrows and glance outs.

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale
      @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I like shooting nocks. I have shot both at Nationals and trained with both. I guess slightly I shoot better on a single face. I have 2 reasons for this you shoot a hole quicker, Once you have a hole it is easier, 2 easier to aim at the 1 spot. In Nationals with thins and single face with compound I shot 299 out of 300.

    • @garymickus6412
      @garymickus6412 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ArcherySuppliesLonsdale Yes I can understand your preference for the single face. I shoot single face because my target butt (box of old clothes) is too small for the strip or triangle. The 300 is impressive. I think Brady is hearing your footsteps!

    bow of the year is very subjective due to each shooters preference. I have shot them all and went with the athens elevate due to the way it fits how I shoot .the era was second and the fortis with ec2 cams was next pse needs to dump the e2 and s2 they are shoulder rippers and not worth only 6-8 fps gain over the ec2. the tuning on the elite and the bowtech is amazing. 2-3 shots and its dialed.

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale
      @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bowtech and Elite seem to have it with tech. Yes PSE added lots of options, it seemed easier with the NXT31,33,35. I still have alot of archers using the NXT's Yes the EC cams are nice.
