I still use my 02x goggles all the time, I have dji v2 but for whatever reason analog makes it into my new builds. My feeling is that analog is better in every way except image quality.
I have DJI, HDzero and Walksnail and I still fly analog. I fly bandos and parking garages mostly. For me analog breakup is more predictable and easier to fly through than the blocky stutter and lockup of digital. But I started on analog and bad analog cams and vtx's..lol. A nice 1000mw vtx and Foxeer Toothless 2 analog cam looks pretty darn good and its cheap so you can bando bash with confidence.
You had me excited when you said the IPD was up to 78... unfortunately it only up to 71, I'm at 74 so I'll stick with the HDO2 which are still a little too narrow. Nice review as always!
Thank you for this video, I wish I would have watched it before I purchased . i would have the video monitor and extras that you suggested. none the less, I got them on order so thank you !
I used a pair of Skyzone O2’s until earlier this year when I got a set of HDzero goggles. I do love Skyzone but the Skyzone Steadyview X was not physically compatible with the HDzero analog bay and I had to go with a TBS fusion module.
Hi Justin, Great video and review of the Skyzone 04X. I flow with a set of Eachine EV-800D for years. When Skyzone came out with OLED googles i had to save up for them. The only thing I don't like is the 4X3 screens, but when Skyzone made Eachine EV-400 it was a great googles. Now that Skyzone is making them i would love to get a pair. Thanks for the video and information
Just got these in a few days ago and they're my first real quality goggles. I absolutely love them, but they're replacing ev800d's that I've been using for a month so it's just a massive upgrade in every way, a comparison just isn't fair lol
Ipd only goes up to 71 not too great when the human eye has a range from 45 to 75, thats why a lot of people say the outer edges are cut off or blurry. Dont think there's any binocular goggle out that goes past 71 except of course dji at least goes to 72
Ha...my Aomway commander V1 goggles are still kicken but not sure for how long. Justin going to be selling his old Skyzone goggles on his web store soon? :)
I think you might be fighting with the local Wi-Fi access points. Try F8, R7, or R8. As for the constant bars, try changing the length of your video wires or disabling telemetry. I used to get that with Crossfire when I made my video wire into a proper antenna for 900ish MHz.
I also have the skyzoneo30 as my main pair of goggles. And they do have oled screens. But man those 04x are so sweet. I wanna get those so badly! But got laid off a couple months ago. Hopefully i get a okay tax return this year.
@LostCloudx4 I have the skyzone module adapter which is $10 and comes a velcro patch to attach it to the side of the goggles and run the rapid-fire module. It's so good. And if you go that route I'd suggest you glue the velcro patches to the adapter and goggles, cuz it did fall off one time and came unpluged, lost video and accidentally bumped the throttle all the way and it went over my neighbors house. killed it in the air. Thankfully it landed in some thick bushes. I would of never found it if I didn't have a buzzer on it. Lol
Here is a tip. Cut that sticky Velcro into 4 sections. I usually cut it at N, S E and West. It’s easier to get straight. Also , you put the foam on the Asian faceplate. It’s flatter. Just saying. Ha.
Nice review man, i am also thinking to buy me a new pair of analog googles. So do you would go more with sky04x or the pro version? Because i am not sure if the fov is not a little bit to high, maybe someboday has experience with that. Nice day gus

@Justin - Reaching out trying to locate a set of old Fatsharks. I am in need of some help, you have a following and may know someone. I use analog goggles. This year my HDO failed and my Fatshark Dominator HD failed. I am trying to find someone with an old set they no longer use or need that are willing to donate them. I am disabled and not working at his time and was wondering if you could help by asking around? Thanks if you are able and if you are not, thanks anyway! Stay safe.

@@JIPPERR_1 started with digital and o3 .. did 3 Builds.. But now i ordered the orqa and Build my First analog this Weekend
Glad skyzone still picks you for reviews. Youve always done them right
I try to be true to what’s worth peoples time.
Dude thank you for being so thorough. I'm brand new and got a pair and i would've been lost if i didn't find this vid.

Nice to see new analog goggle review! Hopin there's never the epic coffee spill though! Lol!
I almost did too!!!

It's time for skyzone to step into the world of digital fpv.
Yes

The filling when you have got much more information about the monitor, than about the goggles that had been (kind of) reviewed. :)

I'm still rockin analog only and using my skyzone o2c. I mean they haven't had one single problem with them! Wouldn't mind upgrading to oled.
25mw is always subject to multi path issues. It's so weak that the reciever can't distinguish the reflection from the direct radiation.

Thing is can I sell the Legends? 😌

Can you do a review with these goggles and the walksnail avatar VRX?
That coffee looks good

only issue with our 03o is that you can't change the module and the stock one sucks :(

If you Google the manufacturer for the module you can get them directly. They ship worldwide
I've been trying to let you know where to get em but my comment keeps getting deleted
@@Chillin-fpvyou can change the module on 03o direct from what manufacturer

What about Sky04O PRO? Those seem like nice analog goggles (priced at 360$)
I've had the o4x goggles for a couple years now and I added a second module. I still love them. What's the difference between the o4x and o4x Pro?
Apparently we can’t do quadveristy on the 04x pro. Is it still Pro? 🧐

Cool .
Would the module bay fit the rapid-fire module flush inside the Googles so you dont have to use the skyzone module adapter?
Lol I got the eachine wizard 220 lol the only fpv I have can't fly it very goog .

So Analog is never die!!! I was lost in digital systems because my wallet not adequate LoL
No quadversity dude, the other module bay is blocked
Yes we learned also. 👍🏻
Actually, it is available. The slot and electronics are still there. But the fan needs to be replaced somehow. :)
Come on, we need some t-rex or eq cam 😅
😎
Starting out this hobby in HD has ruined analog for me :( I honestly don't know how you all fly like this LOL
