I think my favorite thing about your videos is the commentary. I love the content, but your commentary is very entertaining. It’s fun to watch Jimmy’s appearances too 😂 #blubsforjimmy
Another nice restoration, well done. Putting those manufacturer decals on the car brought back memories. When I was a mere lad we covered our cars with those. Whatever was under the hood had a decal on the car. Isky Cam, Mallory Ignition, Eledebok manifold, Holly Carb etc. etc. etc. One day I was pulled over by my friendly neighborhood police officer and he sat me down and said, "Y' know, you may as well put a shopping list for thieves on your car. All those stickers are a dead giveaway to what you have under the hood. Would you put a sign on your house telling the world you have a brand new television inside?" His point was well taken and I removed all my decals. Yes I grew up in the 60's the Beach Boys and the Super-car era.
I look forward to your videos and commentary. I never knew how entertaining hot wheels restoration could be. I’ll say you, and ghostjerker have inspired me and my kids in a new hobby!
Now THATS how I remember hot wheels from my childhood ! Blown engine racing decals and a stick on number. My friend had a mustang in this colour and it was the fastest thing down our matchbox tracks we owned at that time. This channel stated off brilliantly and just gets better. Thanks for posting.
Sweet color 😃 saw a fellow put a tiny piece of foam weatherstripping between the rear wheels to keep it from rolling while on display , easily removed. Jimmy is one lucky boy, just look at all his cars he gets to cruise!
Outstanding!!!! You're work is amazing!! I'm retired and need a REAL hobby besides yard work!!! Got the list; ordering today! Thanks for the inspiration! Keep those videos coming, Professor!!!
Sorry to hear about your drill press. Never rely on Santa for anything - I asked him for a jet pack in 1967, 1968, and 1969. I'm still waiting. Another beautiful restoration! Happy new year!
I think this is my favorite car you have done. I do have to say I really liked the oldsmobile cop cars you did. I am a big oldsmobile fan. Great work as always!!!
Hey man, absolutely love the videos, I’m 21 and been looking for a hobby to pass some time, thanks to you I think I found one, keep it up buddy, absolutely awesome 👍🏼
This Teal is my favorite color yet! The stickers pulls it all together. I LOVE it, great job. I can't see the results of the drop but what self respecting real life drag car doesn't have some wall scrapes anyway. It adds character. Thanks again my man!
Thanks my thoughts exactly, those cars always have scrapes and scratches etc.. I almost repainted it and thought it would be such a waste of decals and supplies.
Dude you are so wicked cool! You totaly animate this and give cars a life! I am hooked bring on more! The car turned out so Awesome! Stickers were amazing touch! Smoke those tires for me!
I seems like now that I have a pretty good subscriber base and some videos out there. I don't have to explain everything so much. When I started out everyone had some many questions.. Now I can just leave it out and they will see what they were asking in another video. I think the more I do the more crazy they will get and they less of a tutorial itll have to be.
Really Sweet, the high polish gives it an almost Candy look/appearance. I think that one is now my favy. Really cool looking love the decals. Great vid. Your commentary is the best, Props to the 'Dude'.
@@DiecastResurrection I think the decals are very appropriate for those style of cars. The new Nitty Gritty Kitty looks totally BA with the decals and the stripes, it totally fits with the Blown engine and open engine compartment. Can't wait to see your next project. Remember you're "The Dude" so I am cool with whatever you do man!
As someone who was a kid when redlines were introduced, I love seeing the redlines restored to their original form. Great job. All you need to do now is race them!
Man, I love you, cause you had the balls to say it. "Beer", It's just how guys are! In our off time we drink a few beers and fix stuff. :) I myself restore lighters, but I like seeing old stuff brought back to life. Keep up the good work!
Very nice...You're really getting some great shine out of theses....This and the Custom Corvette you did at the beginning of December. Thanks for the video.
Another great job dude! That color looks amazing. I always enjoy watching you customize/restore cougars, my dad was a collector of 1967-1970 cougars so I grew up riding around in them. I really wish there was a way I could purchase one of your cougars from you. DEFINITELY LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT VIDEO
I might sell some in the future who knows, I don't have any real attachments to them. Id be more likely to trade for a few junker cars of equal coolness.
Love your channel! And your sense of humor! I don’t comment on videos often. Mainly because I watch most videos on my TV. Keep up the good work! You’re one of my new favs!
Thanks Brother! You know we don't get that youtube money when you watch on TV lol, I', j/k thanks for the comment my man! Hows it look on the big screen? everything ok there?
Awesome work and a very funny video, made me lol many times (keep it up). Surprised to see you work the 'Stickers' with water... never seen that technique used before, thanks. As always, car looks great. Thanks again.
I love your stuff. And you inspired me to go this to my old nasty hot wheels. So let me give you a personal thank you for adding the stuff you used in the description! :D
Another great video. Diamond burrs last longer if used wet. They "cake up" and ruins the life of the burr. Also check jewelers supply for asst. round burrs. Thanks for another fun vid.
Every time you do a new car I think, this is the best one yet! So many great restorations now. Really love the colour and the decals really finish it off nice. Happy New Year dude🍾🥂👍
Little trick ive used with both testors and other paints ive used in my airbrush is to turn the paint jars on the lids about 5mins before you mix it or even shake it. Awesome video as usual but you already knew that :D
Great work!!!!!!! Love these videos. One thing though.......pick FIRESTONE or GOODYEAR. You only would see one or the other on a drag car. But I love how it came out!!!!
You totally pulled a Bob Ross there with those stripes. I thought the car looked perfect just in paint and was aghast when the stickers started going on. Then you pulled it all together so nicely and made another gorgeous piece of art! Also, a "Jimmy's head" needs to be a new unit of measure in the hobby. "So, you want to put a little paint in the plastic cup here, not too much, about 1 Jimmy's head."
Your honesty is the only way we know of "the drop". This restoration is a masterpiece!
This is quite possibly THE BEST channel on TH-cam BAR NONE! Even with the guest appearance of 'Jimmy' I give it two thumbs up!
Wow that's quite the statement! Did you know there is channels where ladies just try on undergarments? lol
Your channel is always inspiring!
I think my favorite thing about your videos is the commentary. I love the content, but your commentary is very entertaining. It’s fun to watch Jimmy’s appearances too 😂
#blubsforjimmy
Even now, this is still my favourite video ! Just love the colour and the classic hot wheels number on the side. Spot on.
You spend so much time on the surface prep and it shows in the finished cars. Yours look way better than other restorer's cars.

Looks great. Another great Nitty Gritty Kitty saved. Love the color
I look forward to your videos and commentary. I never knew how entertaining hot wheels restoration could be. I’ll say you, and ghostjerker have inspired me and my kids in a new hobby!
That's awesome man, thank you for watching!
Another quality restoration! Thanks for your humor and work.
How can you not love this channel!?
These videos are the only ones I don't skip through
O MY GOD I GOT A HEART
Now THATS how I remember hot wheels from my childhood ! Blown engine racing decals and a stick on number. My friend had a mustang in this colour and it was the fastest thing down our matchbox tracks we owned at that time. This channel stated off brilliantly and just gets better. Thanks for posting.
I had the Mustang Boss Hoss in that color also.
Honestly, the car is beautiful. And having the decal mishap, it gives it character!!
Beautiful results. Love that aqua color scheme with the stripes.
Sweet color 😃 saw a fellow put a tiny piece of foam weatherstripping between the rear wheels to keep it from rolling while on display , easily removed. Jimmy is one lucky boy, just look at all his cars he gets to cruise!
I need to do something, cars rolling off is becoming an ongoing thing, Might have to check if the desk is level!
Outstanding!!!! You're work is amazing!! I'm retired and need a REAL hobby besides yard work!!! Got the list; ordering today! Thanks for the inspiration! Keep those videos coming, Professor!!!
Great job! Looks like the ones I remember as a kid.
Great stuff ,keep them coming .Always interesting.
Sorry to hear about your drill press. Never rely on Santa for anything - I asked him for a jet pack in 1967, 1968, and 1969. I'm still waiting. Another beautiful restoration! Happy new year!
Lol. Ya, Santa is definitely hit or miss..
The color and decals look Great. Another job well done. I like when you said the blue the car moved up. 😁
This one turned out great. That color is definitely one of my favorites. Thanks for another entertaining video.
Hey thanks Paul!
I think this is my favorite car you have done. I do have to say I really liked the oldsmobile cop cars you did. I am a big oldsmobile fan. Great work as always!!!

Two thumbs up. I saw the third before I saw.the second nitty gritty I didn't even see any character from your dropping it. GR8 restoration!!!!
Hey man, absolutely love the videos, I’m 21 and been looking for a hobby to pass some time, thanks to you I think I found one, keep it up buddy, absolutely awesome 👍🏼

"Gonna make it a #2 car", looks like it started as a #2, good work restoring it!
Dude you are so wicked cool! You totaly animate this and give cars a life! I am hooked bring on more! The car turned out so Awesome! Stickers were amazing touch! Smoke those tires for me!
So many videos to watch, see you have a video up, forgot the rest existed. This format and length is perfect! Great restoration.
Enjoy your commentary, always entertaining! The work you do is great as well! Please keep up the great work!
Btw, remember that sweet spot you told you wanted to find between length and content? You did it, man! I believe this is the format to follow

Really Sweet, the high polish gives it an almost Candy look/appearance. I think that one is now my favy. Really cool looking love the decals. Great vid. Your commentary is the best, Props to the 'Dude'.
Tony, cause I trust you... should I decal up the Heavy Chevy in a similar fashion?
@@DiecastResurrection I think the decals are very appropriate for those style of cars. Amazing!
Just a great job...a true resurrection!
Holy cow that looks so sweet, I'm a Cougar but, got about 100 of em, your paint job is insane!
Falling on the floor, rolling by itself. Seems like the car has come to life
That came up a treat 👍
Man, I love you, cause you had the balls to say it. "Beer", It's just how guys are! In our off time we drink a few beers and fix stuff. :) I myself restore lighters, but I like seeing old stuff brought back to life. Keep up the good work!

love the color you picked and the decals made it really cool. Jimmy's new ride looks real nice.
I feel like if Jimmy is going to be a permanent part of the show, I should do a car just for him. hmmm 🤔
Your best Restomod yet!
Another great job dude! That color looks amazing. I always enjoy watching you customize/restore cougars, my dad was a collector of 1967-1970 cougars so I grew up riding around in them.
You could have Firestones on the rear and Goodyears on the front.
EXCELLENT JOB!! Less beer more grip when painting. Lol.
I love your humor you’re very entertaining 😂😂💗

You totally pulled a Bob Ross there with those stripes. I thought the car looked perfect just in paint and was aghast when the stickers started going on. Then you pulled it all together so nicely and made another gorgeous piece of art!

Great video. Possibly the best yet
