- I just got the Entertainment Earth exclusive Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel Legends boxset and it is puuuuuurty. The set is based on their comic looks and they totally work. I don't go over the articulation since most of the figures here are reuse, but there is still plenty to talk about.

I remember that between Annihilation Conquest and Secret Invasion, Gamora got badly burnt, during the GotG's very first mission together. She kept herself hidden inside a cloak for a couple of issues, while she healed. Maybe that's what that Poncho thing is supposed to be ?
This is my absolute dream buy. Every design and figure is absolutely solid, and I hope to have this in my collection one day :,)

markredblue Yeah, super happy that I had no major faults with my set. I usually hate getting stuff like this sight-unseen but it worked out for me. This time anyway, haha.
I was surprised to hear that you are a big fan of the Annihilation story in the comics but dislike the way the Drax looks from the Arnim Zola wave. You should go back an look at those issues because Drax looks almost exactly like that figure IMO (the exception might be the forearm knives). They started drawing him larger in Volume 2 of GOTG and now he DOES have armored boots, outer thighs, and gauntlets.
rektangular I can't agree, the Zola wave figure is way more skinny than his appearance during Annihilation. And even smaller than the art from the Drax series before Annihilation. Plus I don't like that base body at all, narrow torso and weird biceps and no wrists and skinny legs. I've seen complaints about the EE set Drax being small too, and I admit I'm way behind on comics. Is he even bigger now with the armored parts?

I did see a Marvel Legends movie Groot sold in an individual package once at the usual $20 price. It wouldn't fit in the normal sized packaged so you had to attach the legs.
It is available on Amazon. It has a baby Groot and sapling Groot in a pot included. It was a Toys R Us exclusive.
cool set man, nice review i like the BAF groot u can buy the BAF pieces on e bay for like 99 cents a piece maybe get your son one like that, i cant stop buying iron man figures lol
