Every song from this Concert is Great. You can't go wrong with any song. And Pau just won Drumeo Best Rock drummer of the year and she deserved it.

As others have said, you really need to check out "23" from this same concert to see how really good Paus vocals are while drumming - shes in another league altogether, and is part of the reason she was voted 2023 Drumeo Drummer of the year.

In the history of rock and music in general, there have been good singing drummers, very few compared to musicians who play other instruments and sing at the same time. Because singing and playing drums is really difficult and only a small elite can do it well. It is a mental challenge (many things at once) and a physical challenge (not running out of breath or keeping your voice stable and in tune). Paulina, the drummer, does it really well. In my opinion, she is the great singing drummer of this time.

Great band. It's my favorite band. No other even close.. The drummer is a tiny musical wonder.. all three are spectacular.. English is their second language, Spanish 1st. You want a singing drummer? Same show do Dust to Dust or 23 or Revenant. or Narcisista 🤟🎶☮️

    Excellent reaction JPauly!
The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
They have recently finished recording their 4th studio album: no name or release date yet.
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs (and recently finished recording their 4th studio album). They recently performed 2 songs at the MTV VMA's.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

Generally speaking, live is always better with The Warning. The entire Teatro Metropolitan concert is awesome from start to finish. Pau sings lead on Dust To Dust, 23, and Narcisista as well as sharing vocals with Dany on many songs in this show. Ale will sing lead on a couple of songs when Dany is ill, there are several versions posted on YT.

Nice reaction. The Warning has always been based in Monterrey, Mexico. Although totally bilingual, Spanish is their first language. The drummer, Paulina, sings lead on 15-20% of their songs. Alejandra (Ale) can sing lead, but generally doesn’t like doing so. There are a few videos of her singing lead when Dany hasn’t been up to it.

To all reactors everywhere... Spanish vowels are like British English vowels. A = ah, E = eh, I = ee, O = O, U = ooh. Tay-aht-rro Maytrropohleetahn is a rough approximation in American phonetics. Or you can just call it the Metropolitan Theater in Mexico City. Its reputation is as an historically old, intimate, and special 3150+ seat auditorium. They sold it out twice, on Monday and Wednesday nights! Watch the whole show on their channel. It's awesome. They pulled out ALL the stops for that series.

This is the song where one can see how tight Pau the drummer and Ale the bass player are. When Ale does her two bass slides, Pau is jumping twice on her seat. I always wait for that. This is a great song and it really shows how the band is going all in.

This was the first TW song I saw I had to stop and replay Pau the drummer singing while making that fill it was crazy good. 🤯 Dany has a great rock voice and Ale can sing lead but chooses not to. Together they sound amazing their harmonies are like another instrument. 🔥They always kill it Pau sings lead vocals in Dust to Dust at this show and it's a banger too. 🔥
    Nice reaction thank you. 🤘⚡🔥

The drummer sings lead in many of their songs. For me, 23 from Teatro Metropolitan is one of most impressive. But Dust-to-Dust is another good one from this show. Revenant and Narcisista are two more from this show. But she is not playing drums during those.

This was one song from an hour and forty five minute live concert, every single song at this live concert is just top notch. You could start your reviews at the first song and just keep going one by one, they preform live just as good or better than their studio releases.

*Disciple* is one of their songs about social media and how it affects people in ways they don't even know...
Dany (guitar) sings the part of the "leader"... Pau (drums) sings the part of a "follower" or "disciple"... basically they're speaking about how people take what they see on social media and believe it, whatever it is... in this way, certain groups out there control the narrative and what is happening... this is a cynical song telling people to think for themselves and not believe everything they see or hear...
*XXI Century Blood* , *Z* , and *Kool-Aid Kids* are three others that also speak about social media... the 1st one, XXICB, has an OMV that tells a story... it and the director were nominated for (and won?) several awards when it was released in 2017 when Dany was 17, Pau was 15, and Ale was 12 😹

Ale (bass) does sing, but really doesn't crave the attention of taking the lead on vocals. That said, she does step in and takes lead on occasion to give her sisters a break when needed.

A once in a generation phenomenon. I flew down to see them live 2 months ago from Portland Oregon with my daughter in Tijuana where they started with Disciple. Ale’s bass kicked me in the chest and knocked me over, then Pau beat me over the head with her drums and then Dany finished me off by slaying me with her guitar and vocals. Once you go down The Warning rabbit hole there's no way out, like Black Holes (which is one of my favorite songs of theirs).

Yes, this group has two legit lead singers. The bass player has done lead vocals on a couple of songs when the guitarist is not feeling well and needs a break to help get then through a show.

Hey JPauly! Thanks for reacting to another! This song also has a great music video worth checking out! It's funny you didn't notice Pau (drummer) singing until half way through the song, even though she sings the whole second verse and the second half of each chorus. Maybe because you talked over half the video? LOL Pausing works too, Jus' Sayin'. They are worth your full attention. (Just bustin' your chops). And yes they are Mexican, from Monterrey, and this show was in Mexico City (CDMX = Ciudad de Mexico).
Any other song from this show is pure gold. Throw a dart and you will hit a winner! Rock On!

To be fair, when one first starts listening to them seriously, it can be initially difficult to differentiate between their voices. When the video doesn't slam "who is singing" in your face, I can't blame anyone for being confused. Mostly because, well, sisters. Nevertheless, after a little bit of carefully hearing them, it definitely becomes obvious who is actually taking the lead. Just takes a bit of practice. 😋

Alejandra (Ale), the bassist, is also a good singer, she just doesn't like to sing lead. She only does it when Daniela (Dany), the guitarist, needs to rest her voice a little. She then replaces her on one or two songs.

They have a few things in common with Rush, but not really a lot. The drummers did a lot of the writing for both bands, and they are trio’s. Really that is all I feel is common. I’ve seen Rush twice in the 80s and I have seen The Warning 3 times. Both great bands but I feel their music styles way different. My opinion though. Just because I disagree a little bit doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good reaction.👍

Rush, except with a better drummer (yes), a better lead singer, a better bassist, three vocalists, classical piano training, and no bad songs. And I'm a 40 year Rush fan.
