I've been going back and forth whether this should open or close. It has to be one or the other. You can't bury this in the middle of a set.
Agreed, I think they’ll open with this given the crowd and environment- you need to kick people’s teeth in right out of the gate- the crowd will be on the heavy metal side but I know DPA can win everyone over just like they have us! I think they close with Z and Dany’s shredding solo- I suppose they could open with that also? How many songs you think in the set and will they release the set list before? You figure all 6 from Mayday, likely the Sandman cover, but which others do they play?
I also hope that in LA in January they play the other 6 songs since almost everyone there will be kickstarters and Patreons and who knows when they will book a tour. Since they will likely be playing indoor venues they may take a while for things to calm down more vs. lots of outdoor festivals and concerts are taking place now but winter is coming and that limits touring

One thing you should know, they are actually *condemning* (through irony and sarcasm) the people who are say, "Kill the system, kill the man!" The song doesn't really address "the system," as it it were, but simply mimics the rhetoric that a lot of the misinformation media uses. As Dany described it, her character in this song is the main villain, the person or entities using social media to push misinformation and discouraging people from trusting science, facts, and legitimate sources. Pau's character is Dany's subordinate, who is listening to the misinformation, repeating it, and coming to believe it. The song is basically a commentary on the almost lawless nature of social media that allows misinformation to take hold of people, to grow and blossom into hate groups (that spread their message and recruit through social media), conspiracy theories, conspiracy cults (such as Q-anon). "The sun is your enemy today" is a repeated line in the song, with the sun being a metaphor for knowledge and science, as people are taught to distrust science or information sources that don't support a particular narrative. The first verse takes aim at climate change deniers, while the second takes a shot at people who don't believe there is an opioid crisis, and so on. To really understand what they are going for in the song, you have to remember that the characters that Dany, Pau and Ale are portraying in the song are the "bad guys" who are trying to make you hate, mistrust, and generally manipulate what you think and believe for their own power and gain.
