  • I´m going to show you How to clean your Oven - Super Fast and Easy Hack
    ✅ Is HERE something for you? ➡️ amzn.to/3Hi7tEy *
    In this short video I´am going to show you how you can easily clean your oven.
    Instead of buying some chemical and expensive products to clean your oven, you can make a cleaning with baking powder, vinegar and water. Here I would like to show you how to do this.
    First you need a pot or casserole dish, which you can also put in the oven. Next you put 80-gram baking powder as well as 50-70ml water in there. Finally, you add a dash of vinegar and stir the mixture with a spoon. Now let it foam and wait a bit.
    Once you have stirred the whole thing thoroughly so that the baking powder has completely dissolved, you can spread it in your oven.
    Use these to grease the mixture in the entire oven. On places where your oven is particularly dirty, you put a lot of paste on it. After you have covered your whole oven with this mixture, there should be a small amount left in the pot. Place also this pot in the middle of the oven.
    Now set your oven to 100 degrees and let it run for an hour. During this time the mixture of baking powder, water and vinegar should do its job and soften all the stains.
    After the hour is over, you can simply wipe off the stains with a damp cloth. If there are persistent stains in your oven, like in mine, you may have to wipe a little more or start a second process. Nevertheless, this method works very well and the result is impressive.
    With this method you definitely can clean your oven without using chemicals or other cleaners which are much more expensive. Of course, it is best to clean your oven regularly so that the oven does not get too dirty, but when it is too late, this clean-up is perfect.

    Interesting video, but everythng is made of chemicals, but I know what you mean, it is better to clean with more natural ingredients! I use baking (soda bicarbonate) soda mixed with a little water and lemon juice to clean older stains from counter tops and to clean the hob/stove. Lemons are bleaching and have anti-bacterial properties too, as well as leaving a pleasant smell. Some people warm a half lemon (without pips) in the oven and then use the juice to clean their oven. A used lemon wedge rubbed into a chopping board and rinsed off also helps to get rid of any smells from onions or garlic and helps to eliminate germs at the same time. Salt also helps to disinfect drains and is useful to clean sinks with.

    Clean the griddle and side racks by putting them on top of the plates in the dishwasher. Afterwards, remove remaining stains with wet steel wool easily.

    • @abb0tt
      @abb0tt 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Steel wool is effective, but can be an unnecessary harsh abrasive for toaster oven parts-including racks. Not all racks are made to handle harsh abrasives, and cheaper ones are simply chrome plated which will deteriorate over time with aggressive cleaning methods. Large kitchen ovens should be fine, but heed caution for smaller countertop units.

    Baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) I use this method but do not leave the bowl in the oven for an hour, will have to try this method though. After cleaning the oven I make a paste and smear it on the racks and sides. Let it dry and leave it on. I know it looks a bit of a mess but surprisingly it keeps the oven clean for longer. I have used this method for years.

      My mother in law has always used your method of smearing bicarbonate on the inner shell and racks of her gas oven, they have been married 71 years . Every Sunday after the roast has been eaten and cleared away she wipes off the bicarbonate wash and any grease and debris from the weeks cooking and reapplies a new layer. So it is tried and tested method and yes her oven is very clean which she takes pride in. At 88 1/2 I don’t know how many more years she will be able to do it, but knowing Gwen it will be as long as possible 😊

    I have a Ninja oven/air fryer, told not to use chemical cleaners, would this work or disturb the coating. Any advice appreciated.

    • @abb0tt
      @abb0tt 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      White vinegar and water should be fine. One trick is to soak a paper towel sheet in vinegar and lay it on grease stains to loosen them. Then after a period of time (length depends on the resiliency of the non-stick coating) you should be able to wipe away the stain. Best to start with equal parts white vinegar and water and adjust based on initial results. Same with exposure time (e.g., 10 mins versus 4 hours). This method also works on calcium deposits (e.g., toilet bowl rings, etc. …just plunge the water level down and leave paper towels lining the ring overnight).
      Baking soda mixtures are an abrasive, so it can damage weaker non-stick coatings. It’s unlikely, but still possible. Like anything, it’s trial and error, every situation requires its own unique combination of variables.

    I’ve heard that the vinegar actually makes no difference. Once it has its initial reaction with the Bi-carb and starts to fizz it is essentially redundant and inactive. Any comments/observations?

    • @renzlouiezafra6813
      @renzlouiezafra6813 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      This is my observation with this solution and I've tested it many times. Bi carb and vinegar solution when combined looks like a good reaction but is not that really helpful, the bicarb cancells the acidity of vinegar so it is pretty much like bicarb mixed with water. It does some good benefit since it can kill germs that is sensitive to alkalines but molds and yeasts are still there since it can survive the bicarb solution. However, bicarb mixed with water to form a paste and rub it on the thing you are cleaning and then spray it with pure vinegar can have some cleaning and abrasive properties due to the chemical reaction. I just don't recommend mixing both of them pre cleaning since it just disables the reaction, making it just like I said bicarb with just water mixed on it. I tried the paste bicarb method and it still works just fine, but I really recommend using dish soap in cleaning ovens, it is cheap, has antimicrobial properties and cuts grease well. Sorry for the long explanation, I wanna elaborate it this much😅

    I wonder how do you reach the back of your oven with oven door open? I am afraid to take off the heavy, glass door, fearing that I might drop it and break it.
