    Hi , i'm triying model the beam pot-tensioned i'm add the prestressed in my model whit thermo-mechanical , it's the same in this videos but i followed the all steps but i don't know why the stress is different .

    Sir, Why did you choose a static general step ? Should you use a temperature coupled displacement step ? And why you have not chosen heat transfer elements DC3D8 ?
    Secondly, when I chose heat transfer step and transient analysis, I am unable to choose NLGEOM and also unable to propagate boundary conditions, interactions, constraints and loads to Heating step. Can anyone help with this ?

    Dear Sir its a very wonderful tutorial but I have a one question I am simulating a movable conduction heating source over a sheet metal of 3 elements through thickness (coupled temp. displacement) the temperature transferred only on the first mesh level but the rest 2 element levels are not effected by the transferred heat from the source (i ll be great full if you helped me) element type C3D8T

      Recheck the part dimensions. You might be giving dimensions in meters while thinking of mm. Try to make a smaller part or increase the load.
