- In this video i'll show you some steps of used car pre-purchase inspection and talk about possible issues used Nissan Juke YF15 (2010-2019) may have. Also, I included a brief review of 1.6 naturally aspirated (HR16DE) and 1.6 turbocharged (MR16DDT) engines, Jatco JF011E and JF015E CVT and their sore spots. Wow.. I just bought a 2011 AWD Juke and my engine looks nothing like this engine. Mine isn't a stick shift though so there ya go lol. He is on point with this video! Very good!

Great video, but a Juke with a MR16DDT and a manual transmission has a dual mass flywheel unlike you told.
I'm going to get a Nissan Nismo 2013 because I think its a funky little car with a bit of character.

@@ntnttntn3273 not really! Although the SES light came on after about 200 miles driven after purchasing. It’s something to do with the air intake or the MAP sensor.

I’m looking at a 2011 Juke with 105k miles. One owner who constantly had it at the dealership for oil changes and recommended maintenance, so I’m pretty hopeful. I know what I’ll be looking for at the dealership tomorrow. Thank you so much!

Have Nissan juke 2013 automatic cvt gearbox, i have problem in the gearbox, got the problem a short time ago
the problem is when i have gear on P or on N so a little sound like iron move with iron (low sound) and when I switch on R or on D the sound disappears, when i drive slowly on switch one the car pushes forward a little twice
and at the same time when the car move in switch one speed release the gasing it came back the same sound in gearbox.
but when drive on the second switch and further have no fault, it works in the normal way
they have said the problem is coming from converts

Don't get a Juke unless you know how to work on cars, or have a buddy who does. Our 2012 was bought gently used with like 12K miles on it. At about 100K, it started falling apart, and it was always something expensive. First it was an issue with the CVT, then the turbo went bad. THEN the timing chain went bad. When you get to the timing chain issue, it's time to decide between junking it or really paying a lot of money for something that will probably break again. I'm s p frustrated with this thing. And I know I'm not alone. Nissan did a recall on it, but of course when you call them or the dealership, they don't want to honor it. It was made to fall apart quickly and it's a ripoff. NEVER AGAIN. I had a Murano years ago and it did better than the Juke, but it crapped out to the point of no return too. I'm pretty much never buying Nissan again. There are too many better vehicles out there now. I'm currently in a Ford Flex. 2009. Pushing 300K miles. I'm driving it til the wheels fall off.
I’m considering buying a 2012 with 100k miles. It’s had one owner, and they said they already replaced the CVT transmission. I thought it was interesting it had to replaced already. Is that normal, or something I need to be concerned about?
I bought a 2013 juke and hood insulator is burned on the left, what problem chould do that ? The car was on fire ? :))

mine is a 2013 and it does have a dual mass flywheel. extremely expensive part and hard to find. there r a few videos on the nissan juke DMF. not sure why u say it doesn't have one.
What will make my 2011 pull to the right I had a ball bearing tie rod for new tires for new tires back shocks put on they charge me $2,500 for all that and it's still pulling to the right four wheel wheel bearing down that was $100 he said it was my rack and pin that making pull to the right found out it wasn't that took it back for what alignment he says my steering collar that make it go to the right can you please have me and tell me what's going on
My screen stays frozen but the back camera works and the displays keep changing the hour

Hi, Would you be able to tell how to fix the loose gear stick issue?
Hi. In most cases the reason of this issue is a plastic ball joint at the lower end of a stick. One of the solutions I’ve found on the web is to remove the stick and wrap its ball joint with a heat-shrink tubing (30mm wide) and then apply some grease on this joint (brake caliper guide pin grease for example). I test drive a 2012 automatic juke sl at a dealer and the engine was so loud inside the cabin, the dealer said it was normal for a turbo to be loud, but the engine was just very noisy inside the cabin even though i was only accelerating from 40 to 50. How loud is the cars turbocharged engine?
While driving it I only hear the tires on the pavement. Although I can hear my husband pulling in the drive, it isn't overly loud.

I own one of these, we call it the Nissan Joke, the CVT transmission is garbage if you like frequent transmission oil changes at $200 a pop and a car that burns oil like a popcorn maker. I was a big Nissan fan for years I’ve owned a hardbody pick up, xterra and maxima, All reliable vehicles but since Nissan started putting the CVT transmission in their vehicles I will never buy another one. I can’t sell it the resale value is horrible. I’m stuck with it.
I wish I'd seen this before I purchased my 2013 Juke a month ago... having some issues... jerking and inside lock switch and remote mirror controls won't light up... according to dealership they don't which I believe is false
When did u buy it? Any transmission or engine problem?
No 🤞🏿 turns out my issue was caused by an aftermarket remote starter...put in by a reputable gut. What sucks it took 3 months for them to figure this out 😥

@@gostyjose6823 I've had mine since April but due to that weird stutter it's been w them more than w me... what I will say is that when it's right, it's Right! One thing I had to get used to was the way it shifts. Apparently there is some belt that controls the shift so I would have my foot in the gas and order to get it's to shift I would have to to ease off the gas just a tad and the idle would then come down..how ever the dealer says that this is actually normal
What I will tell you is this is a fun car to drive!! It's zippy and snappy w pep! I'm on and off the highway all lot and it's great in traffic

- VW Tiguan
My point is don't buy one.
Toyota RAV and Honda CR-V and VW Tiguan are ugly cars. The Juke looks far more better and is better in general. My opinion:)
I regret that i bought one, i dodn't expected so poor quality. Manual transmisions problems, whater go inside, electrical problems issues, and so one :))))

I’ve had my Nissan Juke 1.5l diesel and it’s the best I’ve bought in 30 years better than the VW golf (I’ve had 2) and a Honda Civic type S drive is bumpy but I still prefer it overall. My next car is another Juke but Petrol this time because of the ULEZ
