Next time try "El Almoraduz" in la rinconada. This is the best restaurant hands down! Provechito!

Hola Georgia and Dave. I found this video to be very interesting, but also shocking. When I visited Puerto Escondido in 1971 I'm sure the most expensive meal in town would have been less than $10 for two people, and more likely $5-$6. Times have really changed. I'm glad I saw Mexico when it really was inexpensive, and nobody blinked if you decided to camp on the beach or along the road or outside of a village. And it was safe, very little crime. I can't wait to see what "cheap"meals in Puerto Escondido cost nowadays.

I definitely wouldn't say that Mexico is a low cost destination. It's lower than the US or Canada now but similar to what we were paying in North Carolina 10 or 15 years ago.

You had me at chimichurri! Tell me about those RODE mics. The ones we have really muffle us too much. Our cell phones have better mics. LOL Your foodie experiences are great! I can see Mark being cool with a lot of these because he doesn't eat seafood. Can't wait to see your budget-friendly reviews. ~Gina

We love the rode mics they work great in situations with wind or background noise. We use them with our GoPro and zv1 as well as using them to record voiceovers. Thanks for watching!

@@GeorgiaandDavid ok, are you running into issues with the zv1 shutting off, even if you set it for 1080 and not 4k?

@@GringosRUs We haven't had any issues with the ZV-1, but we don't use it for recording that often or for long periods... usually in low light situations as the GoPro is horrible in low light. The GoPro is a different story, drives me nuts sometimes. ~ David
