Thank you so much for finding me and subscribing!! 🤩 Glad you like the content and it's my pleasure - I enjoy sharing my process with you all! Hope you continue to enjoy the videos I share 🤗💗
I see you did this Tutorial (one I really wanted to see) a year and a half ago--but, alas, we had not yet met! LOL! Anyway, I have just rushed over to Amazon and bought myself the Neocolor IIs--they are brilliant and just what I need to do my backgrounds. I am a newcomer to coloring (started Sept 2023)---so have lots to catch up on. Your Tutorials are, I find, the most relaxing and educational--thank you! Lynn in NYC
Thank you for the lovely comment Lynn! I do hope you have been enjoying your colouring journey so far and I hope to continue to bring videos you enjoy watching! Thanks for taking the time to watch them 🤗💗
Thank you once again for your generosity! It’s not at all necessary, but definitely appreciated! 💗 Glad you will try this background out! Hope you enjoy it!! 🤩💗
I haven't coloured the page yet, so yes I could save it to do a colour along! 🤗 It will be a challenge for me as I haven't done a page of miniatures before as I never know how to go about them 😂 I will try to get to it soon, thanks for the suggestion 🤗💗
I haven't used them actually....I just tried out the neocolor II as stock crayons, and enjoyed them. And I like that I can get them as stock crayons if I ever needed too (although I can't see me needing to replace them for many years to come!!). 🤗💗
THey look really nice to use. I had a look and the full set of neocolour 11 is quite expensive. Do you think one needs the full set ? Thank you in advance. Btw. Have just found you channel and I am binge watching lol. Looking forward to seeing you do one in the book by Clare Therese gray, the woodland watercolor. I think that is such a beautiful book, that I own but have not started yet. I se prismacolor that I have had for about 15 years, but I only have the 70 (I think) set. I love your work, new subscriber here for sure !
Welcome to the channel and I am so happy you found me!! To be honest, I don’t think you need the full set for neocolor II as you can mix colours to get a colour you want. You can also get a smaller set and slowly build up to the full set by buying the stock crayons in singles over a period of time. Hope this helps!! Hope you enjoy the channel, thanks for taking time to watch my videos 🤗💗
You don’t prep your pages with gesso or a medium? How do the pages stay so flat without warping? When I use water brushes, they seep top much water…yes, I constantly dab the brush on a paper towel. Have tried many brands, but they all seep too much and I get warping.
I don't prep my pages in any way as I don't like the feeling of the gesso. But I have found using a brush dipped in water rather than waterbrushes definitely gives more control with the amount of water used and very little water is needed to activate the pencils. Usually putting the book under some weight helps to flatten it out too if needed. Hope this helps 🤗💗
Thank you so much 🤗💗 No I did not gesso the paper - I don't tend to use too much water though and the paper seemed to work well with the Neo IIs for me. 🤗
Why has it taken me so long to find you?? Look at all this fantastic content. Thank you for being so generous with your time and talent! Subscribed!

Glad you will try this background out! Hope you enjoy it!! 🤩💗
I love my Neocolors 2. They do last a very long time so push the wax on to the paper so you achieve a more opaque finish. Love them so much!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for this tip, I will try and be more generous with the lay down of colour. Thank you 🤗💗
They do look lovely to use

My pleasure, I hope you have enjoyed playing with your crayons 🤗💗
Очень красиво❤
Thank you 🤗💗
Have you ever tried Lyra watercolor crayons. I see they are less expensive than Neocolor II. But I never see anyone else use them.

You're welcome 🤗💗
Wow gorgeous background. Those 3 colours go really well together.
Did you Gesso the page first or go straight on with the neos? Xxx
Thank you so much 🤗💗 No I did not gesso the paper - I don't tend to use too much water though and the paper seemed to work well with the Neo IIs for me. 🤗
Thank you so much!!!
My pleasure 🤗💗
Where do you buy the water pencils??
I buy the stock pencils online from Jackson's art or Cassart depending on which one has a sale at the time 🤗
