Thank you for these tips 🙏🏾 I just took over 2 hours waiting for my beans to be cooked to perfection 😫 Organic Low Salt Black beans in a CAN IT IS FOR NOW ON! 💃🏾 THANK YOU 😘
Hello, are we Haitians the only ones that use cloves? I used to hate biting on these when my mother cooked. Now she's gone and guess what, I used them now and love them in my cooking! Especially since I know their health benefits.
Rosel isn’t life funny how this works? I always begged my mother to leave them out and she would ignore me! Lol. Now as I am older they belong in almost every Haitian recipe I make! 😌
I have been through a few recipes and this is my fave thus far! As a Haitian this reminds me of mom making this for me 😍 Thank you 🙏🏽 I also love your bouillon recipe too I made it like 6 times everyday Saturday, I was obsessed 🤩
This a game change for the days when u get home late and don’t have the time really to cook . Heat up some leftover white rice and boom. I wonder if this would taste as good if you add boy in ? Thank you for the recipie
This is amazing looks soooooo yum!!!! Can’t wait to try it with that du riz blanc. What kind of food processor are you using? Cause i use my Ninja blender and have to strain it. Would like to try that puréed version yaayy!!

Sorry for your loss.
I use not to like it either now I add them on almost everything!
You can also purchase just the clove poweder so you don’t have to worry about biting into it
I just made this twice in one week and it was so good
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent recipe!! I live in south Florida & I love Haitian food :]]
Thanks hun!!
This is how I make mine too. But, I actually prefer the Goya brand. Making this Sunday avec diri blan, and sos chicken. :)
The Goya is not bad at all but I prefer the one I used. Sunday dinner sounds good! 💕

What can I use to substitute the maggie - vegan friendly
You can substitute with vegetable cubes.
Oui!!!!! I’m definitely trying this! Did you get these organic beans from Aldi? Looks Devine!!!
Yes
Omg thank you for this ☝🏽
Your welcome hun!
Is that like a soup or a gravy for rice? Please advise.
It’s not a soup, we purée the beans to pour over white rice or yellow grits.
@@dorannette26 that's what I thought. Will have to try on the yellow grits. Thanks for the quick response.
@@dorannette26 can this be made with other beans like kidney beans?
@@marchelletillman1678 yes, white beans, red beans, pigeon, peas, sweet peas ,
Pinto beans ect
@@dorannette26 interesting.....thanks so much.
Yum❤ I’ll be making, thank you😊

Awesome, definitely gonna try it. Thank you Annette 🤗😊
The coconut milk you used is it unsweetened or regular ?
Unsweetened
Love sos poi! Or ( Stewed beans or peas) No epis? I like to add culantro now. No coconut milk, but will try next time.
Mwen pa mete epis nan sos pwa e mwen pa itlize cilantro. Lèt kokoye-a opsyonèl!
Your amazing !! Thank you for recipes & I love how you made this , favorite sauce to this Haitian girl lol 😅😊😊🙏🏾
Lol your welcome dear!
