angryman I can tell you're sarcastic but if the bull shark ripped off a limb he may bleed out without a tourniquet. Although I gotta say the bull shark provoked him to fight back
Yes this exact scenario happened to me four years ago, only difference is that I didn't have a speargun so I was bitten in the calf area. I made it to the surface with only one fin. Today I can walk and dive almost normally again. Never underestimate sharks, they are UNpredictable wild animals.

In latest news shark terrorism has risen 150% in the last quarter, some peculate it is due to their unethical ideology's while others say its pollution. Larry Dorsalfin brings use this special report...
The problem with sharks and less than great water visibility is these things just glide in and out of view so quickly. You could turn around and see nothing for 20-30 yards, then quickly turn 360 degrees and a shark will be there. Everyone knows to remain calm and don't make sudden movements but it's hard to remember this in a flight or fight moment.
I saw a 8' bull shark swim by me while diving in the Chesapeake Bay with visibility of only about 15'. I left the water quite rapidly after that. There's never been a confirmed bite on a human in the Bay, but I wasn't willing to put that to the test.
What do you mean unprovoked? Why would a shark need to be provoked? Sharks eat meat, you're meat. I've eaten thousands of burgers and none of them have ever provoked me.
No I would never wanna swim with sharks. They are wild animals after all and unpredictable even though they generally leave people alone. The most a shark will ever do is inspect you to see what the fuck you are. But since they lack arms they are limited to the use of their mounts to inspect with a tiny bite. To them it's barely a nibble compared to what they are capable of, but it's still enough to leave a big wound on our bodies. Since most of these "shark attacks" happens far out in the water, most people won't be able to swim to shore before they bleed out in the water. If a shark really wanted to eat you, there wouldn't be much left of you afterwards.
Austin Liu It was provoked some how but it isnt shown in the video or it wanted the fish.If I would have given the fish but if it was like trying to kill me i would have kept on fighting it until it went away if I am getting too tired to fight it i will then have to kill it
Noah it's apparent that you don't know much about shark species. Bull Sharks, Tiger Sharks, Great Whites, and Hammerhead sharks are the most aggressive types of reef and deep salt- water sharks. There have been multiple incidents of Bull sharks attacking divers and snorkelers unprovoked, and there's a very simple reason why: they're hunters. Instincts get triggered by simple movements, such as bubbles or disturbances in water, glinting in the water (such as off a watch, spear, or even off of the reflections from your mask), etc. This guy could just as easily have been snorkeling over the reef and the shark still would have attack him unprovoked. Why are Bull Sharks and Hammerheads more aggressive than other predatory sharks? Good question. I just gave you the facts I know. Please take into consideration here that I know what I'm talking about: I'm a licensed SCUBA diver and I've spent plenty of time in my life snorkeling and sailing.
I’ve seen a lot of shark attacks online, and this is by far the scariest and most aggressive attack I’ve seen. He’s extremely fortunate to be alive. He would definitely have killed this diver.
Have you seen the Australian shark attack video of the Great White attacking a swimmer from earlier this year? Bit the guy in half. Def one of the most disturbing vids Iv seen. Made me sick to my stomach.
@@angelsky6869 Look up Simon Nellist australia shark attack. There was another shark attack recently in Egypt also which far more disturbing than Iv seen recently too.
Same! Haha I was legit going to comment this too. So many comments calling out people who don't exist for bashing the dude. I assume it's down to people just assuming that's what's happening without actually reading the comments.
I hate all the people who get pissed off about this, the lad was clearly defending himself nothing more. And for the assholes who say that he shouldn't had been there, why? What's wrong if a human decides to go in the middle of the ocean? Is there a general rule about nature that I'm missing? If i see any marine animal in land I don't make a retreaded comment about why is shouldn't be on land.
I think it was fine since he was defending himself, but his diving attire is not appropriate for diving with any kind of fish, and is probably what caused the shark to attack him, because of how their senses work
Yes, you're missing a general rule of creatures that don't want to encounter other predators. Don't attack food that they want to your body. Does this seem like strange shark behavior to anyone? A small to medium sized shark charging an animal bigger than it is? Yes, divers in full gear, especially free diving fins, are quite large relative to many sea animals). Scared as you may be of sharks, it just doesn't work that way in the real world where a shark that size charges a diver at full speed. That shark was after the shiny, dead fish that the guy had attached to him. Dragging fish behind you, or worse yet, up against your torso, is asking for problems. HE certainly didn't have to pull the trigger after he'd already rammed the spear in its throat.
It will happen someday, she will push her luck. What is particularly frightening about this video is that the guy was lucky he spotted the shake when he did, he could’ve been turned around. He’s also luck he had something long enough to put in between him and the shark, and he’s also lucky that the object he had was able to both stun and distract the shark like it did. That lady would’ve been dead in this situation.
Worked for 5 Years as a profesional Spearfisher in Guanacaste ,Costa Rica. Plenty of Bullsharks. Never saw or heard of something like his.You were extremely lucky
Anybody attacking this guy in the comments for what happened is either just flat out dumb or terribly uneducated on the subject. To attack him for killing it because it belonged there and he didn't is just an incredibly uneducated and ignorant response. Society needs people willing to step out and explore the unknown, it's how mankind evolves and gains knowledge. I also found it absolutely hysterical reading the comments from people who didn't like how he handled the situation and proceeded to break down, point for point, exactly how they would have handled it. Like the PowerPoint presentation they've concocted in their mind would help; A) in an adrenaline fueled fight or flight, potential life or death situation, and B) like they'd even be able to create a step by step plan in those precious few seconds. Anyone in that situation would have at least attempted to handle it the way he did and anyone who says otherwise is either lying or just terribly ignorant. The fact that it even needs to be explained is just sad. Thank you for sharing this video, it was incredible.
Taylor Clark to step up and explore the unknown? with a speargun, you are fucking ridiculous. A speargun is meant to kill fishes...you can still use other means of protection and have also an u/w camera to explore the unknown.
safety first right decision. its more important to be alive with no any injuries. rather than trying to do something risky. limbs and life isn't replaceable.

Diving is not a sport, as many people think. He has placed himself unnecessarily in danger.
Retro Level I don't really think that matters too much here a shark attack is a shark attack, whether it was necessary to be in the water or not
Retro Level the guy spear fishes obviously, maybe as a hobby maybe to find food, regardless he has the right to be there.
Spearfishing can be a job.
Retro Level Do you think thats a reason to let himself getting killed ?
The guy is just helping pick that friendly bullsharks teeth. After the video the shark said thank you for your kindness and walked away to new adventures.
Mama always said: “Son, never bite off more than u can chew.” 🤣🤣
That guy is such a badass, he just speared him without any panic
he had to forget his fear, there is no other way around it.
Panic = dead
by the way he was swimming away I'm sure he was pretty stressed
He probably did panic and shooting it was a reaction
He was composed enough to shoot it THEN panic, dropped his gun, and swim away
Dang, that Bull Shark had some intent! See it thrust and pick up speed? Definitely in attack mode. Got a belly full of spear gun. Nothing else that dude could have done..
More like it got a brain full of spear😅
Its crazy how it literally comes out of no where. Dude had just looked over that spot and nothing then bam sharks 40-50ft away
@Zangief The Red Kinda like your comment 😂
It just wanted to play bro!
@Zangief The Red ah yes stay at home and do nothing
Shark: I'm just here to talk about your cars extended warranty.
Man: I don't have a car so talk to the spear
Shows how even with a spear gun, you have to get lucky to survive a charging bull shark. if he didn't see the shark or if the shark had swam around the spear gun, that guy was dead meat.
Dude not cool! All the shark wanted was something to eat. You've got four limbs. You could have given it at least one!
angryman I can tell you're sarcastic but if the bull shark ripped off a limb he may bleed out without a tourniquet. Although I gotta say the bull shark provoked him to fight back

Fucking stealth attack mate. Jesus. He fucked around and found out
Yes this exact scenario happened to me four years ago, only difference is that I didn't have a speargun so I was bitten in the calf area. I made it to the surface with only one fin. Today I can walk and dive almost normally again. Never underestimate sharks, they are UNpredictable wild animals.
Richard Parkinson
Bull sharks are unpredictable because they charge without warning but most sharks will let you know that you're not welcome and act like caged dogs before they actually attack
cheers for sharin Rcihard.
Ouch. Thats must've been some experience. Glad ur all healed up.
Anyways, Did you have any caught fishes on you when the sharked gunned you?
Richard Parkinson - wow glad to hear you're doing well and nearly fully recovered! God bless.
shark was depressed... suicide by speargun. on a serious note, that's some scary stuff, I've had sharks bump me while I was looking under rocks. This guy was so lucky he spotted it in time.
Christian Hernandez I was cage diving with a great white off the west coast when they shark stole my camera while I was getting some shots without the bars
That spear went right through his brain. That's some bad-ass accuracy.
What do you mean unprovoked? Why would a shark need to be provoked? Sharks eat meat, you're meat.
I've eaten thousands of burgers and none of them have ever provoked me.
th-cam.com/video/PXAfo764c8c/w-d-xo.html
Wrong, sharks dosen't like the taste of humans plus the fact that there's not nearly not enough meat on us and too much bones.
Ok make a video of you swimming with sharks and a bait bag in the water. Yeah, I didn't think so. Enough said!
Martin Spoken by a true idiot that knows nothing about the behavior of sharks.
Thats a total waste of a shark...!!!!!!!!!
Could have made
1 Shark Fin Soup + 8 Pieces of Flake + Shark Skin Coat + Pair of Shark Skin Thongs
That is the reason why bull sharks are almost endangered
dude its the way of life the shark attacked him first what would you have done?
@Noah Gago You think way too highly of your own abilities. You'd probably end up missing a couple limbs or dead.
The ancestors that did this everyday so he could be alive today are smiling so hard for him
Sheeeeeeeeesh did he even get to pull the trigger?? 😂 that damn shark went straight at em and took that sh*t as his last dinner lol
I’ve seen a lot of shark attacks online, and this is by far the scariest and most aggressive attack I’ve seen. He’s extremely fortunate to be alive. He would definitely have killed this diver.

I think it was fine since he was defending himself, but his diving attire is not appropriate for diving with any kind of fish, and is probably what caused the shark to attack him, because of how their senses work
Bull sharks are territorial, so it probably wanted him gone, or killed, as well as their higher level of testosterone.
Incorrect. There were no dead fish. He made a video explaining the attack th-cam.com/video/PXAfo764c8c/w-d-xo.html
Shut up, stop repeating yourself

It will happen someday, she will push her luck. What is particularly frightening about this video is that the guy was lucky he spotted the shake when he did, he could’ve been turned around. He’s also luck he had something long enough to put in between him and the shark, and he’s also lucky that the object he had was able to both stun and distract the shark like it did. That lady would’ve been dead in this situation.
Worked for 5 Years as a profesional Spearfisher in Guanacaste ,Costa Rica. Plenty of Bullsharks. Never saw or heard of something like his.You were extremely lucky
YegueroEl why was he lucky?
+bolu Because the shark ate the spear instead of his hand.
Because the shark didn't follow up on the diver.
Having a shark attack you is not lucky lol
Nope but having a bull shark attack you and survive without a scratch? Yup that's lucky

holy sht i had no idea that sharks were this clever, it attacks from underneath where a person might be oblivious.
I like there are people genuinely upset that he used the spear to protect himself. The shark was literally darting to kill him
I don't see these people anywhere
Thank you for sharing this video, it was incredible.
cheers!
Chris Nenshati oh shutup millenial loser .. mankind will always rule the earth until the end .. fuck sharks i enjoy people shooting them for fun .
Chris Nenshati I find it hilarious how right after he posted this, someone with the same ignorance walks into the conversation.
Taylor Clark Thank you! It’s nice to know that some people still have common sense.
Taylor Clark to step up and explore the unknown? with a speargun, you are fucking ridiculous. A speargun is meant to kill fishes...you can still use other means of protection and have also an u/w camera to explore the unknown.
The amount of speed it picks up when it's close is phenomenonal.
