Typical day of trolling, the range rider boat went out for 4 hrs, they had 14 strikes, they landed two tuna, they lost 9 lures and 3 fish to sharks. At $20-$75 per lure! I lost $400 worth of lures my first month here. When fishing from shore you typically get about 10 min of fishing before the sharks show up in force and shut it down. They are a serious PITA!

I've been fishing on Ascension every weekend and most weekdays for the past 8-months. The sharks are unbelievable! I got in a 30 lb Amberjack and a 35 lb Horse Eye Jack, both had teeth marks from sharks. I've been out trolling 4x and lost 9 out of 10 fish we hooked every time. The boat went out a couple months ago, had 14 strikes, lost 9 lures, got in 1 fish, each of the lures cost between $50-$75. I've seen as many as 40 sharks at once. Sharks are like an underwater mafia. In Australia, fishermen call sharks "taxmen". You have to give them a cut of your catch. If you don't, this is what happens.
The combination of the video and the music is just structured so epically haha. It plays out just like an action movie fight. It even has a point at the surface where it looks like one of the sharks has gotten the better of him, only for him to pull his knife out and stab away at them. They were dangerous but not big as far as sharks go. It might have ended differently if they were big.
What a bad ass. I was so confused why he was so focused on the tuna. I thought maybe he was using it as a barrier. Now I think he just truly didn't want to lose it.
Imagine being the tuna, a human trying to kill you, 2 sharks trying to kill you, and like 10 seagulls ready to eat you too if you were left to float to the top.
how many of you hypocrites can say: I stabbed a shark? well this guy stabbed 2 and did not get the tuna stolen. congratulations to him for having managed such an adrenaline situation in the best way !!! I personally would have died of a heart attack !!
Shake fok
Breaking news: Florida man causes mass extinction for sharks in order to catch a Tuna
Mwahahahaha
Sharks are like an underwater mafia. In Australia, fishermen call sharks "taxmen". You have to give them a cut of your catch. If you don't, this is what happens.
All that blood from the tuna sure was getting those sharks excited. What a scary situation.
He's the man of focus, commitment, and the sheer fucking will
The sharks were like, “Ow! He stabbed my brain!”
Him: Help
Boat: get on
Him: “Throws tuna on boat” I’ll be back
Sharks: should we also get on the boat?
Guy: You’re getting on the boat wether you like it or not sharktards
LOL! 😂 😂 😂 🏆
The combination of the video and the music is just structured so epically haha. It plays out just like an action movie fight. It even has a point at the surface where it looks like one of the sharks has gotten the better of him, only for him to pull his knife out and stab away at them. It's almost like the sword reveal in Pacific Rim!
Man woke up, wife said : i want fresh tuna today, throwes him off the boat and yelled: dont come back without any tuna.
She sounds like mine asdfghjk
Survived epic battle, goes home and chokes to death on a tuna bone, lol
Randyman RIP
3 things
1) why the hell are you spear fishing in the middle of the ocean.
2) why isn’t this on shark week
3)that tuna had an amazing experience before death if you ask me, I mean he was dead either way
Hell, the new Subnautica graphic patch is on point.
I don't understand what do u mean...
@@PopAPodcAsts a reference to the game XD.
@@xing3010 oh I didn't know and neither i do now😅
@@PopAPodcAsts all good haha, if you have free time and still interested give the game trailer a look, I guess you will know what I'm talking about then.
@@xing3010 okkk😄
Bruh, bumblebee tuna is like $1 per can, just stop by the grocery store 🤣
It’s scary how the tuna and shark literally appeared out of nowhere
Both these high speed marine animals swim so freaking FAST! Not a sport for me with all those sharp teeth around. Not looking for an epitaph yet, no matter how glamorous it may seem!
At the start you see the food that he placed in the water (little sprinkles of other fish)
This is the hardest dude to ever live.
1v2 clutch
LOL
THIS IS BY FAR THE BADDEST SHIT I HAVE EVER SEEN. U THE REAL MVP. STABBING THE SHARK LIKE THAT !
That reminds me of the great scene at the beginning of Once upon a time in the West:
Snaky (Sharky) to other shark: „It looks like we're shy of one hearse !“
Harmonica (Fisherman): „You‘ll need two!“
1:27 lol pterodactyls xD
Mdr
LMAO
This guys rapid turning is what saved him.
It allowed him to be able to rotate around quickly and fast enough to face the sharks head on, and they usually don't want to face their prey directly head on and prefer to go for the ambush/surprise attack.
Oh...like the fact that he turned his eyeballs towards the shark helped him out somehow?
@@dingaonhockey yes the shark can see that, they do not like to take any form of risk thats why they tried to go behind him at the start
@@dingaonhockey you absolute moron
@@dingaonhockey how would turning your eyeballs even be a discussion in a first person pov video , the most brain rot filled comment ive ever read
@@dingaonhockey yes
The Shark Was Like. “Hey That Tuna Is For My Girlfriend Give It Back!”
i honestly feared for this guy. i can only imagine how much fear he'd have
nothing fool
He had no fear at all he cared more about tuna than his own life i half expected to jump back in for round 2
It was the Sharks who were scared

This man is a cameraman amongst cameramen.
Fuck what majority say, this was freaking awesome. Nice video edit as well.
Unbelievable, he has some balls.
he literally fucking hit it how is it fake?
lol bitch !
No, he went brainless into the ocean fishing between sharks and was more lucky than anything else. People like him are nothing more like useless and are a problem for us all b.c. some idiot will say now: look at this brutal shark attack.... wtf, this idiot didn'T even think about giving the tuna free to leave the scene. I hope Natural Selection will hit him hard soon!
I agree this was intense and yes very good editing while trying not too get bitten that must of been crazy
How did this guy even get in the water and not sink instantly with balls that big?
sharks: gib feesh
diver: NO MINE "slaps sharks away"
Sharks: gib feesh or we keel u
diver: OH HELL NAW "stabs sharks with knife
