    WOW, Best tutorial on AnimNotify and footsteps system via physics material ever~!!!
    Easy to follow, simple yet effective framework and works better than most footstep system sold on the UE marketplace. Almost use another footstep system until I found your video. Much elegant and flexible.
    Why this tutorial doesn't have more view?

    Hi. I have blueprint that spawns meshes and linetrace does not see them. How can i fix that? Thanks

      Need to check your collision settings. When tracing you select what kind of collision you want it to hit, whether its visibility or world static or world dynamic etc. The trace needs to match the collision of the object you want to hit.

    Cant seem to get this working for Landscape, any ideas?

      You might be using an auto landscape material. Traces do not know what material is for auto materials out of the box. So selecting a physic material inside the landscape materials is not going to work right away. You can try painting with any material and that should work. In order to test if it's working just use any physical material on the landscape details panel to override the material for the entire landscape. There is a way of making it work for auto-landscape material based on slope. It works pretty well and the painted textures should read just normally as any other material physical material.
