MEANING:
Oh RANGANATHA! Resident (“vihara”) of Rangapura ! May you be victorious (“jaya”). He
incarnated as the warrior (“veera”) of the RAGHU dynasty. He took the form (“avataara”) of RAMA
wielding the bow KODANDA.
The progenator (“janaka”) of cupid (“angaja”). He protected the hosts of celestials (“deva”) and
elephants (“saarangendra”), giver (“da”) of boons (“vara”), the beloved one (“antaranga”) of
LAKSHMI (ramaa”). He possesses a bluish black (“shyamala”) form (“anga”). He has GARUDA
(“vihanga”) as his vehicle (“turanga”) and whose glances are full (“sadaya”) of mercy (“paanga”). He
is always associated with good things (“satsanga”).
He is the moon (“soma”) to the ocean (“jalanidhi”) of Solar (“pankajapta”) Dynasty (“kula”). Having a
very beautiful lotus (“pankaja”) like face (“mukha”), PATABHIRAMA. He has, conquered (“jita”)
Cupid (“kaama”) by his Lotus like feet (“pankaja”). RAGHURAMA, who beautifully appears (“vesha”)
with SITA, seated on his left lap (“vaamaanka gata”). He reclines on the bed (“shayana”) of
ADISESHA, the serpent god (“shaanka”). He gives delight (“santosha”) to the devotees(“bhakta”) and
has the sun and the moon (“enaankara”) for his eyes (“nayana”). He speaks (“bhaashana”) softly
(“mrudutara”). His cheeks (“kapola”) are just like the mirror (“darpana”) without faults (“a-kalanka”).
He is the obliterator (“harana”) of difficulties (“sankata”) of the sages (“muni”). Oh GOVINDA !
VENKATARAMANA! MUKUNDA! The primary one (“moola kanda”), who bestows auspiciousness
(“sankaarshana”), the one who delights (“ananda”) the heart of GURUGUHA.

Namaste Sir,Nice Coaching,Thank you Sir.In Hindustani music Brinda vani Sarang contains kakali Nishadham in Arohana like Brindavani (Carnatic).In Hindustani music MeghMalhar and Madmadsarang are there.Theyhave same swaras like Madhyamavati (Carnatic).Here Madmadsarang R and N are plain,But in Meghmalhar ,R and N are Andolith swaras from M and S respectively. And RP prayogam frequently.I think Meghmalhar is fit for Brindavanisarang(Carnatic Style).But Hindustani ,Carnatic have different Sining styles. My Words are may be correct or not.Sir,you are a music expert ,you know all .Thanking you once again Sir.

ആരോഹണാവരോഹണം കേട്ടിട്ട് മദ്ധ്യമാവതി പോലെ തന്നെ. കീർത്തനം കേട്ടപ്പോഴും അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ തോന്നി. എന്താണ് മദ്ധ്യമാവതിയുമായുള്ള വ്യത്യാസം? ശ്രീ സുബ്ബലക്ഷ്മി പാടുന്നതിൽ, 'പുരവിഹാര' യിലെ 'ഹ' കാകളി നിഷാദം തൊടുന്നതു പോലെ തോന്നി. അതും, "ഈ കൃതി വൃന്ദാവനസാരംഗയാണല്ലോ , കാകളി നിഷാദം തൊട്ടില്ലെന്നു വേണ്ട" എന്നതു പോലെ. മറുപടി തന്നാൽ സന്തോഷം. കുറേ നാളായി ഈ സംശയം കൊണ്ടുനടക്കുന്നു.
ഈ സംശയം എനിക്കും ഉണ്ട്. ഇദ്ദേഹം ആരോഹണവും അവരോഹണവും കൈശ്ചികി നിഷാദം എന്ന് പറയുന്നും ഉണ്ട്. അപ്പൊ അത് മദ്ധ്യമാവതി തന്നെയല്ലേ... 🙏
