Congrats to the music teacher I had in elementary school for introducing me to classical music by this piece it’s really hard for a teacher to teach music properly in a school and my man did it. He gave me the starting point, he helped me find out about a world not too many people know how to appreciate. Now I’m a classical guitarist and all thanks to little sparkles I received as a child from people like this teacher

I have too! couple of years ago, I remember liking that, maybe they made the whole setting (in terms of scenography, if there's some exact terms for this, I don't know, I'm not too much into theatre stuff and also English is not my first language) a bit too modern for the opera but it was still enjoyable.

I am a 61 year old lover of music of all kinds, and I have a huge LP collection to indicate my love of music. Many years ago I purchased several Classical albums with the intention to listen to them later. Now is later. One of the box sets I purchased was this wonderful opera by Bizet, and I have to say that the beauty of this music ranks near the top of my list of favourites. Classical music is a breath of fresh air in today's frustrating world, I only wish that Bizet lived long enough to know that Carmen is absolutely timeless, he died shortly after it premiered.

I am a 61 year old lover of music of all kinds, and I have a huge LP collection to indicate my love of music. Many years ago I purchased several Classical albums with the intention to listen to them later. Now is later. One of the box sets I purchased was this wonderful opera by Bizet, and I have to say that the beauty of this music ranks near the top of my list of favourites. Classical music is a breath of fresh air in today's frustrating world, I only wish that Bizet lived long enough to know that Carmen is absolutely timeless, he died shortly after it premiered.
