I have working with uv resin a while and one tip someone shared with me on getting it to cute a little faster is to use a small mirror to place your item on top. Complete gamechanger for me.

I find myself holding my breath while you are lining them up for transfer. I can see this is out for me. I take medications that cause my hands to jerk. The more I need them to stay steady, the more they jerk. So, I get to make these things vicariously. Great video.

That usually is when people cure it way to fast (uv resin shrinks)
Or if they have their vinyl all the way to the edge, better to always leave a border of acrylic between the vinyl and edge of shape.
Some people also sand their acrylic blank before adding resin to help with that.
I personally do not sand and have never had an issue with it popping off but be sure to use good quality uv resin as well:)

Can these be cured outdoors in the sunlight instead of using the UV light machine?
I have never used uv resin before. You said to heat it with the heat, can any heat gun be used to do this to get the bubbles out?

You can’t use it outdoors, sunlight cures it

@zindee i don’t need to sand the acrylic before putting uv and glitter? Some told me it will peel off if i don’t sand but other said it is fine not to sand the acrylics first

So I am trying to add another layer of uv resin on top of the uv resin glitter layer and uv resin keeps pulling from the edges. I have placed what I think is more than enough uv resin but it keeps pulling from the edges. What am i doing wrong? Does it matter that the glitter is chunky?
I have been using mod podge and glitter on the backs then doing the uv resin. This is clearly much easier than that method. Can you use any glitter or are there specific kinds that work better? Thanks for your awesome videos. So very informative.
You can use any glitter but ultrafine works best and I do suggest polyester glitter so the colors don’t leak or anything 🙂
HI, I was wondering do you have to order every blank piece by piece or is there an option somewhere to buy in bulk. I wanted to make these for myself and my sisters since were all in the medical field but I'm just wondering will I have to buy them piece by piece?

Hey there! Your videos are awesome! It is overwhelming to figure out which Sure Cuts A lot to get. Can you point me in the right direction?
Any electronic die cutting machine will work, I use the Explore Air and/or Maker machines but others use a SCA or Silhouette, and there’s others on the market, too.
With Cricut’s software, Design Space, you can now do Offset cutting (creates a shadow), like shown in the video, it’s a new feature.

HI!! The machine is for the UV epoxy, if you don’t have you need to use the SUN instead, like for 2 hrs, maybe or more. Or you can use the regular epoxy and it take 6 to 24 hrs to cure

Do you not need to wear a mask or be in a ventilated area when using UV resin as you do with the regular 2 step resin?
