In this video I will show you how to add bubblegum beads to a retractable badge reel! We’ll also be adding some cute acrylic blanks to the badge reels. I think this is such a fun project and so cute! These make great gifts for nurses, teachers or anyone who requires badge access on a daily basis!

My daughter just graduated as an RN…she is REALLY struggling with the COVID added pressures as a new nurse 💔. I have started getting cute blanks to make her some new badge reels to at least bring a bit of cheer and support to her daily journey. Nurses are just incredible 🥰.

make sure when adding the glitter to the little well on the badge reel holder snap to the back part because you will have a hard time putting your ID card if you do it to the front part where you put thru your card
The only recommendation I would give is to secure the beads so they aren’t always moving. They will rub on the string every time you pull it out. This will cause the string to break. I’ve had this happen to me a few times. I would either put E6000 in the bead hole of the top bead or make a knot at the top. Love the tutorial!
