Im confused... see when doing nose.. i wonder how far the swab should go up? Some says dont have to go deeper some says go deeper angle straight or upward straight up? Which?
Note that the instructions that come with the test do not say you need to post it on the same day as taking it, possibly rendering many of them useless.
it's kind of like a toothbrush, the bristles will collect more specimen in the litlle fibers. Just like how a toothbrush picks up and lifts debris from your teeth when you brush.
Thank you for putting this together. at a medical facility for PCR they just did one quick touch in the throat, and literally a touch in each of the nostrils, didn't ask me to clear the nose either. will this be sufficient for diagnosis?
if diagnosed positive how long after do you need to take test. I was tested positive 20/3. If i have symptoms next day and after do i wait until my symptoms have gone?

So, excess mucus spoils the result meaning it's unwise to test if you have a common symptom of colds, a runny nose.

I think it is not spoiling the test result, it just would be unconformable to put a stick into your nose where your piercing would be an obstacle.
