I know that the cognoscenti have "Raging Bull" and "Citizen Kane"....... but Jim C in "LIar, Liar" is a cinematic gem. Can watch it 10x. Those two films are fine achievements in cinema art, and in explaining the human condition. Laughing at the absurdity of life is also an artistic achievement and Jim C is a master of his art.

I know that the cognoscenti have "Raging Bull" and "Citizen Kane"....... but Jim C in "LIar, Liar" is a cinematic gem. Can watch it 10x. Those two films are fine achievements in cinema art, and in explaining the human condition. Laughing at the absurdity of life is also an artistic achievement and Jim C is a master of his art.
Lol imagine how long it took for them to make this without the actors laughing.

There'd be a lot of outrage and discord (and likely endless warfare) due to peoples' differing opinions, beliefs and motives. I think this movie does a great job of conveying that sentiment.

If someone says you're holding up four fingers but it's really three, then they're not really lying if they can't count and think it's four.
