Apple just released iOS 18 Beta 3 to registered developers and it contains more than 21 new features and changes, including changes in the Control Center, keyboard, Home Screen changes, Fitness app changes, Flashlight changes, and more! They did fix the blank app icons bug which it’s been a huge issue

They need to make a “favorite emoji” section
I’ve always hated the emoji picker and now it’s a lot better but I do agree that we need that. I’ve personally wanted a way to hide emojis from the emoji picker because there’s so many I don’t use.
I was hoping that's what was coming with this beta based off the thumbnail for this video. Hopefully they add it soon.
does anyone have an issue with the raw max feature. everytime i click a picture with raw max it gives me a error message and the picture is pixelated.

@@IrachoD most people use like 4 emojis and the rest of the frequently used emojis are filled with others you almost never use. That’s why I’ve never been a fan of it
Am I the only one who liked the rounded corners for the photo view in the Photos app? I’ve never liked seeing my photos right up to the edge of my phone.
I thought the expanded rounded image looked SO clean and I’m not even a camera/photo person

@@Tactical_Taco What about the previous design did you not like? Just curious. I didn’t think it really made the photo much smaller and made it feel like you were actually looking through photographs. Similar to the changes made to the Settings page where they gave each section a rounded box for a simpler look. The rounded corners are all throughout iOS and make everything have a softer appearance and look more modern so I thought it was a nice change.

The way photos are displayed or viewed individually was a nice change in 18b2. Now reminds me of the old photo app.

Coming from Beta 2 and using Beta 3 for around 10h now I can say battery and smoothness of the OS feel much better.
Brandon is it possible to control the focus of the flashlight without Dynamic Island, eg iPhone 12, 13, 14
I have multiple focuses that change to different wallpapers, can I have the apps be a certain colour for wallpaper and then diffferent for another?
How come I’ve got the update but only thing that’s different is my torch, mine doesn’t look like yours in the Dynamic Island

I was trying to understand the Memoji aspect. But the size looks the same I didn’t see any changes for that on beta 3. Is there a setting that I’m missing?

Has anyone else been having issues with the camera on beta 3? When I take a picture it all blurry until I go to my photos gallery and then it comes clear.

One you missed: in control center, add a control, scroll down and there are additional accessibility controls you can add.
Glad to see that Screen Time was fixed but. What happened to the widget? It's still broken since Beta 1 and 2.
Is the random volume going all the way down/up fixed in iOS 18?

Is it just me or ever since I updated to beta 3 my phone been tweaking like my iMessage. Every time I go on iMessage and text someone it glitches out of iMessage and onto the Home Screen. And it’s not even letting me edit my apps. Is it me and does it have a bug????

Screen time has always worked fine for me on beta 2 never crashed my settings app at all 😅
i tried clicking screen time in settings and there was a 15 second delay opening it

Very happy to say I’ve had next to no bugs on beta 1 and have waited for 3 to update again as it’s been so stable. Good to see this seems like a solid update with general improvements
Then you haven’t tested enough of IOS 18’s new features. For example the new lock screen buttons that replace the static camera and flashlight buttons are buggy asf.

How does the flashlight control looks like on a non-dynamic island iPhone?
After the update, haptic keyboard feedback didn't work and it only started working after 2 reboots. Also, I have seen multiple videos on Beta 3 release but was refreshing your feed to see your video. What would we do without your video after the release :)

One problem i’ve had in Beta 2 is when i hold a photo in lets say instagram just to look at it and make sure it’s what I want to send and i click off of it the entire photo like gallery disappears so i hope right now when i update it fixes
My screenshots glitch and don’t save and my photo apps is broken when I try to share photos 😢

I just updated to beta 3 and it doesn’t let me change the icons from dark or light anymore.

Control Center got destroyed in terms of looks in my opinion.
The first thing I expected from a control center redesign was to make it follow light/dark mode. Hopefully they’re working on that.

I switched my customization to dark mode and now the "customize" option doesn't work for me. I can't click on it, it just disappears. But other than that, feeling good about how it works on my iPhone 14 ProMax
i updated from beta 2 on my iphone 14 pro and the color tint works but the shade/saturation is stuck on the highest setting. this is really disappointing and hopefully it gets fixed since i liked to keep mine on the lowest setting (basically white) so i could have almost a black n white theme

I’ve requested for YEARS the smallest font size goes down from 80% to something a lot smaller, at least 50%. Apple seem to be going backwards making things larger and larger each year.
Oh and another thing, want no app labels? Sorry, they HAVE to be bigger, it’s blindingly obnoxious and I really hope they change all of this

You can downgrade iOS I think with iTunes, but it will factory reset if you do that, not sure if you will risk deleting all your data for emoji size
I think one of my favorite features of beta three has to be the keyboard icons sooo much easy to find emojis

Brandon, have you had any issues with the Tesla app or using the iPhone as a key with iOS18? I don't want to install the Public Beta if there are likely to be problems.

In the first 2 betas when I am in dark mode the badge notifications were a black bubble, now they’re back to the annoying giant red bubble in light & dark mode. The only way to switch is in tint mode and I am not a fan of tint mode. Anyone know a fix for this?

I hope by the time the official updates come out we’re able to use our meomjis as regular emoji characters instead of stickers. Lol Ive always love the idea of meomoji and would use mine much more if I could use it anywhere
im running iPadOS beta 3 on my iPad air 5 and the Calculator app/ Math Notes completely crashes my iPad and makes it restart. also the Notes and Fitness app opens for maybe 10 seconds and it crashes and restarts the ipad

I think my photo widget for featured photos is still broken in mine. I have been setting photos to feature but never worked. I'm using iPhone 11. Let me confirm with network and Bluetooth stability, they've been dropping for no apparent reason in beta 1&2.

My iPhones (13 pro Max) been acting up since I got the iOS 18 😢 Sometimes I can’t see the apps, gets really hot, or the screen just doesn’t work
Whenever I try to connect to WiFi hotspot from my android device, the android device freezes and shuts down.
Wasn't an issue in DB1, did not try DB2.
I didn't see the bug I had with the camera when taking photos from the lock screen, it doesn't let you see the picture you just took only a black box, and the camera crashed, and I even got a report notification about it. After installing the new B3, I noticed the screen lock icon was "unlocked" until I swiped, and it "locked" until I put in my pin.
I'm stuck with a huge bug. Notifications center stopped functioning and so did the message app texts aren't bannering anymore messages aren't ringing either. Anyone else?
I had so many issues with the beta 2.
- carplay only pays music on my phone speaker
- no audio on a lot of 3rd party apps
