I have been watching video after video all morning trying to figure out how to draft this and add it on to my current pattern, thank you so much for being the easiest and most concise to follow and also having a pdf!!!
Thank you for this video!!! My husband will be a pastor (this year) and he has loads of colorful clericals for me to make him. I couldn't, though, because I was hung up on how to make a hidden button placket! You're saving me a lot of frustration!
Should the concealed button placket piece be the same LENGTH as the front shirt piece that it's being sewn to? I have a commercial pattern for a shirt that I'm working on and not only is the concealed button placket piece longer than the front shirt piece but the notches on each piece don't match up. I'm trying to figure out if this is an error in the pattern pieces.
Can you make a tutorial for a 1950's style thin lace v neck bolero that buttons in the back. I would love to learn how to make it for my upcoming wedding :)
Thank you for your request. Congratulations on you upcoming wedding! Do you have an inspiration board or photo links to the bolero you are inspired by? Also, when is your wedding?
Let me see what I can do...since there is a process to creating a video & I currently have projects to complete, I will try my best to see how I can make this happen. Thanks for sharing your inspiration!
Wonderful concise video……however, each time you show a technique, you do not have to say “I’m going to…….or, I…..”. I don’t think there is anyone else to do the technique. Just sayin’.
