A Universal Basic Income paid equally to all citizens in the form of CBDC would ensure 'debt-free' money would go to where people as whole express their demands as they spend, driving investment in meeting their needs. It would drive the real economy, as long as the net inflow was not excessive, ie not beyond the capacity of the economy to respond to the spending

except they're programmable which turns us into a total social credit society where we can lose the ability to feed ourselves and our family for saying the wrong thing or talking to the wrong person or having one too many steaks (using more than your "allocated" carbon credits which will be dependant on your social credit score) NO THANKS!
