A little different, but not in a bad way. I do still kinda hear echo though? But I'm guessing your programs or settings edit it out so that's why it isn't super prominent
After doing some testing, I’m fairly certain the maggots from the Pathocyst do not interact with Strain mods or Nidus abilities. Using strain eruption, I was not seeing any corrosive procs that I would expect to see on the maggots spawned by pathocyst attacks. As for Nidus, I didn’t see any additional mutation stacks from hitting an enemy with his 1 when they had maggots on, nor did his 1 seem to burst the maggots from the pathocyst like it would maggots from his 4.
This thing is by far my favorite glaive at the moment, a few ways I like to play it: 1. Almost your build, except with on saryn. Overall can't go wrong with blast + toxic lash. 2. With Gas electricity on chroma. Influence spreads Gas procs among enemies and all the gas procs leave behind clouds. Vex armor boosts the clouds' damage to such a crazy degree that even acolytes die within 1-2 seconds if you've previously killed a few enemies around that spot. In sp survival, you're pretty much creating kill zones around you which last a few seconds. Chroma is honestly such an underrated glaive buffer, used to be a million times better than eclipse and roar because something was off with how the damage was calculated but that changed a few updates ago. Still the crazy amount of base damage turns this thing into an on contact nuke to the point where i have to deliberately have to not directly hit enemies in order to get something from influence. I recently had like 170kpm with just this thing on conjunction survival
What changed a few updates ago was the gas clouds would spread with influence as you said, but then also spread themselves again if the spread for elec status effect could reach between two enemies. They got rid of the repeating gas cloud spreading so it wont spread as far/over and over again but its still really good over all! Chroma buffing the gas clouds is legit an insanely good way to deal with the kills per second concerns in SP survivals. Such a good way to still get kills and have drops as you go to clear out the other side of w/e room.
I am so grateful you did this weapon I wanted a build for it because I wanted all the boss weapons I have to be "good". I could have just searched the internet but wanted to see what you do with it because I liked your other builds so Thanks and have a great day
I don't understand where thzt starts becoming an upside. You can already just click to shoot, press E to hit with melee. Honestly it's worse imo, if heavy attacks override altfires.
I love this weapon due to it enabling my silly arse builds. Maggot King build +Nidus using 4th +Helminth Charger with Strain Set +Pathocyst Maggots, maggots, maggots
The maggots don't interact with nidus or the strain mods. With the Pathocyst try a non-throwing build, high status, healing return with whirlwind and astral twilight, it's my go to status healing melee any the block forward combo is just fun. Also pairing with Melee Aflictions for more status.
Easy to get... I remember getting slapped around a few times by the prelate when I first tried that boss, though now that I've cleared the star chart I should have an easier time
Fun Weapon. I like to build mine with Heavy, Initial Combo, and Mark of the Beast on my Mesa along with a Secondary Outburst on a pistol, but this is probably better for non-Mesa purposes
Hey, have a look at your video and take note of the counter for Weeping Wounds in the top right. It's supposed to be "combo-1", or 11x when you are at 12x combo, and it isn't. At all. In fact during the short segment where you have both Weeping Wounds and Blood Rush equipped, both are at 1x while you have 12x combo. Basically, light attacks for glaives are completely broken with all combo mods, and it's a bit disheartening that you didn't even notice these two mods not doing anything for most of your recording...
Here is a much, much better build: Twilight + Whirlwind stays as it is, all 3 Galvanized mods, amalgam organ, weeping, killing blow, shocking touch, melee dmg (like pressure point)... I strongly suggest to use a riven, since this has dispo 4, which makes it very, very powerful.
Hmm, a Volatile Rebound build without Power Throw? that's... "interesting". ;) Seriously, you should try it out, it's really great dmg boost if you do not explode the glaive.
I crafted the pathocyst a few days ago and yet its outclassed by the cerata imo. Such a shame. Patho's got such a good design and i just wish it got a buff. Even if the maggot got explosive damage or more would spawn at once it would be cool
also iirc its bugged and doesnt do the correct damage i love how the helmith charger grows with its maggots Prayge the p2 companion mod rework shines light on helmith charger
Hello Mr TH-cam Man, I was wondering if you could try and make a build for the incarnon form specifically for the Felarx? The incarnon form has always been cool, but terrible, and I figure if anyone can make it work it's the master of making things good and fun to use
0:40 ??? Wait who/what is that, I swear I’ve cleared the whole star chart but I do not remember that thing? See this is the problem with been a Legacy player they add new stuff to old nodes or even new mods to old bosses and I end up not having the for years (equilibrium) because I never both to go back and do them guys over. This is one of the best examples of why DE needs to put back the old alert system and have it cycle the entire galaxy chat covering every nod, think back to when you were new and you were trying to fill out the chart, on some nodes your fine doing it solo but then you run into a pain in the ass boss or a high level defence mission and 😭🤦♂️ so you wait and hope you can find others playing it (good luck on the jordis presept or however it’s spelled as I’ve never seen another player on that node and the arcwing part is such a ⚽️ ache it’s just so slow) if they had the alert system doing every node on the map sooner or laters you know there would be teams running it that you can get some help from (we all know we don’t bother talking to each other before anyone says about asking for help in chat 🤣). Another idea I just had is a bit more complicated but a player bounty system, basically a player goes I need help with X node and it pops up as an alert on the starmap, maybe you have to actually sign up for it as you will probably be carrying the team, I’m thinking kinda like how FFXIV had it’s mentor system (only hopefully with less people doing it just for the shiny name badge then been 🍆 to the new players) as their are players that are quite willing to help I mean back when I played wow I remember spending like an hour explaining how the class worked and answering questions and if I’m feeling well ied do the same in Warframe (sadly me feeling well is a rarity I mean it’s been like 2 3 weeks since I managed to get in game as I just haven’t felt up to it after looking after my mum, sadly we’re both disabled but mine is only pain while my mum is also critically ill so I have to do most things meaning I’m knackered by like 8pm but I wouldn’thave it any other way as if I’m her carer I know she is safe) I’m sure others would be more than willing to help new/weaker players when they have the time.
I'm probably the only one with this opinion, but personally I hate whirlwind. The extra velocity makes it seem more... Uncontrollable? I hate how it feels. It also throws me off for timing explosions when and where I want them.
Falcor and this one are better than the glaive prime (i have all glaives, idk why the slash stuff is not form me, even if the electric is kinda the same)
this is basically an innate viral glaive prime it has a higher disposition and light attacks alongside in-air time during throw lead to leeches to spawn that inherit the elemental damage. killing blow + the new mod opportunity's reach lead to beeg damage (power throw can replace killing blow) I recommend volatile quick return and crit stats (with riven); the rainbow status build is good, but less is more on this b/c the leeches can only do a single instance of modded elemental damage.
Heavy attack is in my opinion a better way to go with the patho. I'm hitting over a mil with the detonate part of it O_o Then again, with glaive's i was never a light attack person, it felt like i was using half a glaive's potential >.
I honestly think the only reason Melee Influence hasn't been nerfed is because someone is straight up hiding it from Rebecca at DE. It's so disgustingly overpowered compared to literally anything else that could go in that slot. It's not healthy. Also I think it speaks to the popularity of this weapon that I saw the title and thumbnail and my brain was somehow still thinking of the Paracyst-- as in, the dogshit harpoon gun that is somehow even less popular than this but at least it's been around for longer.
I can’t be the only one that noticed the master of puppets lyrics on the configs, what an absolute chad
Hells yeah!
GIGA CHAD SIMP KILLER
Ah yes Zealoid Prelate, the "we Infested Liches at home" guy.
After the jade's quest I immediately thought those weirdos would be with their eyes on the prize...
How do you like the new microphone, now that it's dialed in, somewhat ?
Sounds very good!
A little different, but not in a bad way. I do still kinda hear echo though? But I'm guessing your programs or settings edit it out so that's why it isn't super prominent
Very crisp, alot better! I can practically hear Harold in the background!
You kinda sound like the Luigi "Hello Mario" meme xD
Very good much wow
“Vor is still here blabbing”
Vor: DID I NOT TELL OF THIS DAY? DID I NOT…PROPHESIZE THIS MOMENT?!?
Imagine the madness if the Glaives have incarnons
We might get coda variants with the upcoming infested liches
I can feel it, Kesheg the banana or Orvius is near. I can almost taste it. (lol)
After doing some testing, I’m fairly certain the maggots from the Pathocyst do not interact with Strain mods or Nidus abilities.

I randommed a mr27 player that told me to sub to you for good guides, Shoutout to Azure, love ya!
Having the option to summon more companions from that unique effect does sound pretty neat, thanks for the helpful video MC!

… that reminds me, I need to finish farming the last piece of the Pathocyst
If you go light throw, slap in that power throw and just hold in that melee button :D
The halikar wraith is incredible now. Try it out!
I am so grateful you did this weapon I wanted a build for it because I wanted all the boss weapons I have to be "good". I could have just searched the internet but wanted to see what you do with it because I liked your other builds so Thanks and have a great day
Speaking of Fluffy, would it be ok if you do a video on the Helminth Charger?
Single target may be bad, but we know the good thing about glaives is being able to wield a secondary at the same time
I don't understand where thzt starts becoming an upside. You can already just click to shoot, press E to hit with melee. Honestly it's worse imo, if heavy attacks override altfires.
I love this weapon due to it enabling my silly arse builds.
Maggot King build
+Nidus using 4th
+Helminth Charger with Strain Set
+Pathocyst
Maggots, maggots, maggots
I love using this thing on Nidus with a full strain set. Maggot Master Moment
Surprised he didn't go for that
Thank you good sir, now I want to hear Master of Puppets 😂
This could get such a cool incarnon. Could make heavy attacks spawn a bunch of maggots that actually do damage
we await the day he finally maxes out melee influence
The maggots don't interact with nidus or the strain mods.

That guy is built different. He just takes entire magazines from Felarx and doesn't even notice.
Fun Weapon. I like to build mine with Heavy, Initial Combo, and Mark of the Beast on my Mesa along with a Secondary Outburst on a pistol, but this is probably better for non-Mesa purposes
The Yeetings with this thing

Imagine if this got an Incarnon
Its gonna get an infested lich version hopefully

Speaking of thrown explosives, remember the Kestrel? Wouldn't it be cool if you made that work in any capacity?
If we are at yeeting things, maybe Kestrel?
Suggestion: combine this weapon with Inaros’ sandstorm augment. It has inherent viral, so that’s two mod slots to use for something else
Any chance we could get a Caustacyst video, please?
Cerata next?
1:38 ok you officially have a problem 🤔you’re obsessed with electricity I can’t remember the last time it wasn’t on a build you did 🤣
If we're looking at glaives, could you try the Halikar next? I got a Riven for it and need to justify the Kuva I've poured in to it.
throwing things? the orvius maybe?
I'd love to see what you can do with the Astilla (Prime)
:D he’s using my favorite weapon
I made a similar build
But Gas Viral Electric
I love this weapon
Well, i just found out about the strain mod set
Thank you for the video
Still hoping to see zhuge prime on here soon.
hiii sir! Can you cover the tenet exec?
Hmm, a Volatile Rebound build without Power Throw? that's... "interesting". ;) Seriously, you should try it out, it's really great dmg boost if you do not explode the glaive.

Could you make a Zymos video?
HALIKAR WRAITH
How do you keep forgetting that CO doesn't work at all on glaive melees?
Condition Overload doesn't work for explosions
Can you try the Zakti prime next? Absolutely adore this thing, but I’m curious what you could do with it.
He already had a video about it
th-cam.com/video/5cDJUjS8BVs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nF2nMplzrNdAi1j4
also iirc its bugged and doesnt do the correct damage
i love how the helmith charger grows with its maggots

3:16 okay I need to know why the mod capacity didn't reset after installing forma
Waiting for the Coda version. If only pathocyst was not a glaive. I just want a maggot spawner weapon, and pathocyst isnt the one.
replacing melee prowess with attack speed is the best change to the first build imo its too slow
