It looks so delicious, Navajo Grandma! I love watching your videos and I pray for you and yours. You are special in my heart, you have helped me through very difficult times and I cannot thank you enough. You have such a healing voice and wisdom that you give us. The food cooked outdoors is so special; I can close my eyes and smell and taste how wonderful it is.
Yes, Beth, it is delicious just to smell it. Then when you bite into it, goodness gracious its lovely!! Now again, its not for everyone, as some have already said, they do not like spam, or they hate it, but for us spam lovers, we enjoy this type of sandwich. Glad we are all not alike. I love the honesty and differences. I pray for you always and hope all is working out and you are making great progress as an individual for now. Keep busy, keep washing your hair, curling it, welcoming yourself each morning with prayer, make the way clear for goodness to come, pray for comfort during hard times, but also remember the happy times, write them down. Remain strong and make new friends, laugh, dance or study with them, smile. Hugs of love and comfort from Navajo Grandma
Well one say or someday I can make some for you. It's delicious!! Hope you are well and remembering to say your prayers. Remember you are loved and matter & needed!!! Hugs galore. Navajo Grandma
All my love to you and Navajo Grandpa. You are my family; I am saying my prayers. I lost another brother on Valentine’s Day. He was 74 and ate breakfast and went for a walk with his wife, came home got his coffee and sat in his recliner. He died of a massive heart attack. Now everyone is gone but one brother and my four sons. May God bless and keep you always; you are truly blessed.
@@bethroberts674 Well Beth you are family. Here and there. I am praying for you and want you well emotionally and that you are able to cope with these losses. I always say to myself, "when God is trying to mold us and as we conform sometimes he also tries us. How about asking for your family to live and to ask God to preserve them as you love and need them. Pray for them to stay a longer time. You have that right and that power given you. He is your Heavenly Father, there is nothing you can't ask. He understands you and your needs, as does Jesus. What a wonderful option and great Godliness to have at your disposal to ask and you shall receive. Rejoice pretty girl and I love you so and so does Grandpa. You are so precious. I don't know why you hide. We wanted to visit and see you. Or give me a phone call, send me your phone number at dinehgrandma@gmail.com. What harm is in that? You are so fearful, so stop and allow others to love you and care for you and just reach out to make sure you know you are needed, loved and that you matter. Hugs always to you. Navajo Grandma
Thank you so much and yup you are right. Actually anything made by grandma was always the best no matter what. Great comment Amye. Hugs to you always. Navajo Grandma
Life has been so hectic for me Navajo Grandma. Every time it gets really bad the Creator brings me to You on here. This is my go to sandwich sort of. Frybread fried spam with mustard and onions.
Oh so you enjoy this sandwich too. It is a tasty treat that I also love. Just the simple onions and chili made such a little difference we had never tried. Simple dimple I say. Keep your head up, remain wonderful and continue being amazing as there is only one you. God be with you always in all you need. Hugs from Navajo Grandma
Hello dear Navajo Grandma, I've heard you've celebrated birthday. I wish you all the best on earth, wish you peace and love silence in your heart. I wish you many, many health. All the best, bless you. Your recipes must be wonderful. I wonder if these would be too spicy. Well, my stomach often gives me problems. You are doing so well, I enjoy your videos. I wish you and your family good times. Greetings, Love and Peace for you and your Native American Country from a friend . (A man in the BlackForest/ Germany).
Hi there L/P, thank you for the wonderful birthday wishes. I celebrate one week not one day! LOL! Yes I am another year older and wiser. We are all well and another season is falling upon us -- "rain/snow in the mountains as that is where it starts and then boom, on the valley floor. Its a bit over cast and it starts. I heard Michigan got 18+ inches, YIKES last week unexpectedly. But that is the weather. So yes this might be a bit spicy but remember what grandma says, make it your own. Don't add the chili, just add vegetables or whatever suits you best. This is for you not made for us, its just the way we Dine' eat, but for others I say, "be creative and enjoy." Hugs across the great waters to my dear L/P in the Black Forest of Germany. Hagonee, Navajo Grandma
I've heard so much about fry bread but haven't even tasted it once! I know, CRAZY! 😂 I think I'm going to try making some! Oh and we DO need grandma to show us because this is your culture and maybe there's more than me who are interested. I'm ready to give spam another whirl after this video! Thanks Grandma!
Michelle, watch my frybread videos, there are more than one. I show you have to mix it and make it and fry it. No its not really that healthy but there is also a video that gives more healthy ingredients as well. I got it covered. Its still carbs but we need that now and then. Do not get addicted. Warning. LOL! Hugs and goodnight. Navajo Grandma
Vanessa you are spot on!! It was always something after the Long Walk that most Dine' made and started using. It use to be corn or acorn. Now the art is lost of how to prepare and use these. Its a simple go to now and where is Walmart attitude. We were once vegans like I told Richard, another subscriber. Now our diet consists of Spam etc. We don't eat it daily, it is a sometimes meal that when you want something tasty you make this. And boy is it tasty. Glad you know what this is. Soo appreciate your knowledge and input. We are so much alike in many ways. Hugs from Navajo Grandma
Thank you for your video and I think I missed your birthday. I hope it was a beautiful day! I always love your videos, love and peace to you and grandpa! Ruth
Thank you for the peaceful blessing Ruth. I have birthday weeks, not day. LOL! That way I can go to restaurants and get my birthday dinners. Ever do that? Well some children of mine taught this to me at times when we didn't have a penny to our name. We discovered this and with 7 children and my self we had some good dinners and dessert. Some places gave a free dinner for the person and a dessert for everyone. Remember this was quite a few years ago like 25 LOL! Now you have to beg for a free dessert. Just kidding. Love and hugs. Navajo Grandma
It is actually wonderful to taste and eat. Thanks for watching and hope maybe one day you may taste this or make it for yourself and family. Never know. Hugs. Navajo Grandma
Sandra enjoy making this, it is so good. Grandpa has had the Anaheim chili's in the fridge for a couple of days as I wasn't feeling good for a day. I am going to fix him one when he returns from church. Its best not to be around folks and repair health wise so I am home. My Part Two of Survival Skills #6 is on and hope you get to see Navajo Grandma's feet!! LOL! Enjoy. Love always. Navajo Grandma
Well yes it is delicious and sometimes maybe try this recipe and enjoy it. Very lovely to eat with a huge paper towel. LOL! Thanks for you comment Jackie. Hugs from Navajo Grandma
Please enjoy and always pray over your food. Pray that the good remains and the rest goes out the other end. LOL!! Enjoy making this and grandma will add more recipes soon. Aloha with hugs. Navajo Grandma
Aww...Mahalo again for the love that you have for sharing. Yes, blessings my food always. 🙏🏼 I can't wait for more recipes. Yummy!😋 we love spam in Hawaii. Aloha 🌺🥰
Grandps is snoring away while I am answering your comments. Its a hazy day from the clear gorgeous hot days for the whole month. The Indian Summer is racing away and the rains are coming with snow. The snow will reach the mountains then down into the valleys after that. I am covering my plants no matter like my grapes, yucca and etc. I baby all of them. I am sure its not likely to do this but I do. Grandma wants the least exposure even tho they will be exposed to the cold. LOL! Have a happy weekend and tell me Joseph what you do, what state do you live in again? What is your nationality again too. You said once and that was a long while ago. Happy thoughts. Navajo Grandma
Grandma I'm German and Welsh on my Father's side. My mom's side Scottish and Irish and possibly some Native American. Do you see any Native American in my features?
Love it! Hmmm... I'm hungry watching you make this. Now I have the taste in my mouth. 😄 I wish there was such a thing as smell and taste-a-vision. Will be trying this when I get the ingredients. Beautiful soul thank you for your recipes. If you ever want to exchange any recipes let me know. Wishing you and grandpa happiness, health and lots of love.
Hey girl, its delicious!! I know you will enjoy it. Its so simple but had to show you all. Nothing like frybread for our hips right? Love those darn carbs girl!! I only eat this stuff twice a month but that only makes me want to make more. I will be showing how to make noodle soup next time and also later the simple stick the cinnamon sugar on it, then also I put the frosting thing on it too for a dessert type thing. Simple dimple stuff. Fun to do. Love you and be a good girl!! Hugs. Navajo Grandma
Hmmm, I didn't eat Spam much growing up, so I have never cooked it and had some serious suspicions about it! 😆 However, with these past few years of critical rebooting (for lack of better description) I have bought varieties of Spam when it was on sale. Still not cooking it. I have read the labels and it seems harmless enough. I am not allowed grills at my apartments, but I can use the skillet. Fry bread is so good, and you are right, a lot of carbs. I love chile's and sliced onion, so your recipe will be the temptation for finally trying Spam. I feel out of touch as I have been trying to change old habits and missing my favorite people on TH-cam. I hope you and Poppa are well! I love you!
My dear Trish, Grandma has missed you. You were always commenting and always so kind to grandma. I love you and hope all is well with you. Its good to change old habits for new ones, its good spiritually, physically, emotionally and psychologically. All the way around I am so proud of you. And I know what you mean sometimes watching too much on these channels can be way out. I know one time I sat down and for 5 hours I watched everything you could think of and its was very interesting and full of teachings but I had to stand up and slap myself in my face and say, "hey the days gone by and what have you done?" My eyes were almost dazed and I stopped doing that immediately. I love to watch simple stuff and then I turn my ipad or computer off. Sitting is not good for too long and so I make sure gpa and I walk and eat right. Of course, eating right eating spam and frybread is rich!! Sorry, I know its full of carbs and etc and etc but its not like we eat this daily. Its a treat now and then. That is how I hope others treat it. I will be adding more versatile t hings we can do with frybread so I hope you can take a glimpse at it and enjoy. I missed you and still pray for you sweet heart. You just don't know how many of my subscribers I remember. I answer everyone of you and getting to know you and how you answer and how you feel, and sharing. I love that. Thank you my sweet Trish. Grandma still loves you!! Hugs always and forever. Navajo Grandma
Thumbs UP!!! I am happy to hear this. Now don't get addicted. It is a wonderful sandwich and more than any a manly sandwich!! But as you can tell Grandma bit into this sandwich with Yum and it was Yum!! Please enjoy and smile. Hugs from Navajo Grandma
You are far in front of us and yes, it is something amazing to eat. Few have had that pleasure to actually drive there and purchase such a sandwich. Happy thoughts with YUM on our mind. LOL!! Hugs from Navajo Grandma
This is great news! Please enjoy and remember do not get addicted. A lot of gramma carbs we don't need for our hips if you know what I mean. Now and then with wisdom. Please enjoy and happy to hear from you. Navajo Grandma
Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer, spam and potatoes with frybread never ceases to please with comfort. MMM. Hope your holidays were wonderful Marty. Holiday Hugs. Navajo Grandma
@@NavajoGrandma hope you and your family had good holidays too, we have been down sick with the flu it's still going around here but me and my wife are doing better.
@@martystarks4900 My dear Marty our gpa and I had a wonderful holiday and hope you also did. I am sorry to hear you had the flu and gpa just said a powerful prayer for the both of you that you will be protected the rest of the sick season that comes and goes. Pray always for one another and drink plenty of water, keep your hands clean, eat foods that will heal you as well. Take care of one another. I pray that you shall be protected from any further sickness, bacteria, viruses or anything in the air anymore this year. I pray for you to be well with gpa's prayer and blessing. We love you and send you our prayers of healing. Amen. Navajo Grandma
Well its like steak n eggs for the Navajo. Spam is not a daily diet but now and then. Again long ago, these were not what we as the Dine' ate, mostly vegan and I hear my grandfather, Shi Nali speak of those foods of long ago that he so dearly missed. He wasn't a meat eater and he said, we didn't eat meat like folks believe, although we had sheep, as our mainstay was squash, the fresh onions, parsley, fruit and perrenial locust, cactus, berries, corn and acorn flour ground now and then but mostly vegetation that use to grow. Shi Nali said when the ranchers brought their herds they trampled most of all their sustenance. Sad. Everything started after that Long Walk everyone knows about. I have such wonderful memories of gathering apricots, opening them up with our fingers, pitting them, laying them out to dry for the winter, the berries after they were dried, the choke cherries, raspberries, and any other fruit that grew in the canyons or among the rocks, were mixed and laid out as cookies for travel, for sustenance while sheep herding, etc. Dipping gravy came later. Vegetable soups were amazing. No salt, just natural tasting. Many were slender and healthy. Amazing how the white man called the Dine' "emaciated, desperate, uncooth, full of lack," yet these people lived and survived off the land. Another word they used was "nomadic," of course you will travel with the seasons and to live among what was in season as well. This is what we knew in the Eastern Agency of NM. That marauding and stealing was amongst the men who roamed and were quite angry with the white folks moving in and placing their ranches willy nilly wherever. So much history so much lives lost and lived. Sorry to carry on. Navajo Grandma
all the Dine I know are very nice.. accommodating... generous.. I suspect if the folks who came into Dinetah had asked nicely and been good neighbors... things might have been different... Cortez was not a very good negotiator, eh?.. it's been almost 600 years since the European people showed up with guns... they weren't lost and knew what indoginies were .. potential slaves... when your home is destroyed.. all your stuff scattered to the 4 winds.. no matter how civilized and peaceful we are... we get knocked back to the stone age, grandma.. ✌️ carry on
Merry Christmas Grandma... the peaches of the Dine are famous still... growing a garden means.. good food for family and friends 😁... true wealth comes from the Earth... but.. ya gotta work for it... the intruders had all kinds of justifications for doing something wrong .. growing a garden and staying home with the kids is the best way to live... don't worry about stuff we can't change Grandma... let's change the things we can I always start out saying... so.... I'm so ing seeds ... this is the winter solstice and a new moon 🌚 the seasons change... the World goes round and round... season's best wishes for you and your family SisStar
Hi there my dear one, you are a wise wise soul and spirit and yes, you have to try this. Its delish. Like I said, "what Navajo says -- delish??" Only NG. LOL!! But it is and you gotta try it. Happy yummie thoughts until you bite into it. Yadilah. Hugs always to you and sister sue eyes of blue. Another saying. Navajo Grandma
Well on my end it was fantastic. Grandpa enjoyed this and when we first tasted this we both couldn't believe this simple sandwich could taste this good. Oh my. Don't make it a daily habit, its a now and then food. But delish. I always think, "what Navajo says, Its delish?" Probably none but I do. LOL!! Navajo Grandma
Hello Grandmother That, really did look good I just picked the last two Anaheim and Jalapeno pepper plants I had today 10/19, We had our first frost last night I will try that sandwich
My dear David, you will enjoy this. Using jalapeno might be an option but I am not as brave as I use to be. Its awful as you get older things I use to eat ain't good anymore. Crap!!! I am an Anaheim chili girl as they are sometimes hot but not like jalapeno. Do enjoy and remember grandma loves you and pray over your food when you make this. Lots of carbs and who knows whatever else. LOL! Hugs always. Navajo Grandma
Good Day to you Navajo gramma. Love all your vids and Love love love you SiStar!!! 💙💚 I’m not fond of spam but I could use ham or bacon also, many variations to this recipe. Love it!
Wingapo, grandma! Watching this is making me sooo hungry! I adore spam, but unfortunately my husband doesn't really care for it. I'll have to think of something else to put on his sandwich when I make these! I've been practicing making frybread a lot and I'm starting to get better, but I still struggle with getting the consistency just right and a lot of the times I get it stuck all over my hands 😅 But I found putting some olive oil on my hands before working with the dough really helps with the sticking. Hoping that I can soon get it just right so I don't have to worry about that. Much love from Pennsylvania!
Mariah, I don't want you addicted now. Lots of carbs girl and we don't need that for our hips LOL! Soo if you are getting it too sticky, try using warm water one and a half cup to start with, work it in then add another cup, its weird that sometimes the type of flour you use can absorb the water really well or not. It varies. But try that and it should not be sticky. If you pour all 4 cups in there to begin with goodness then it will be sticky. Try it the way grandma said, as you work the last cup in it should not be sticky but where you can handle the dough pretty well. Only knead it about 5 times really good then it should ball up and then let it rest then cover it for 30 minutes or so and then its ready. When you are ready, then put a little four on your hands and on the work area and take a piece of dough and you know the rest. Also if you are using a rolling pin, put flour on that too at first or thru the whole process. The dough should be soft and fluffy to work with, lovely. I know its practice and just keep it up. Enjoy the sandwich and maybe one day your hubby will try it. Love you. Navajo Grandma
@@NavajoGrandma Thanks for the advice Grandma! I'll definitely try those tips the next time I make some!! Fingers crossed that one day hubby will try the sandwiches 🤞🏼💕 Love you!
@@MariahD16 Thank you for being so receptive and yes maybe one day. But he is your hubby and maybe never == "just love him as you do." Hugs. Navajo Grandma
My dear Julie you will enjoy this for sure. Goodness I don't know how to feel when I promote carbs but again don't get addicted. Its a now and then so enjoy. Love you always and pray over your food that only the good will remain and the rest out the other end. LOL! That should be about 90% LOL again!! Smile grandma loves you. Hugs. Navajo Grandma
Thank you for your sweet honesty Alethea. It warms my heart when folks are honest and we are all not spam eaters but again some are. I grew up on Spam on the reservation and its like a go to when you want simple and a change from the norm. Probably unhealthy but we don't think unhealthy when we bite into this sandwich. Now if we did eat this daily, now that would be wrong, that is my opinion. Thank you for watching and remember grandma loves you and prays for you always. Hugs. Navajo Grandma
@@NavajoGrandma of course. I understand. I actually ate spam when I was growing up, but I stopped as an adult. I think it could be because I got tired of eating it as a child, but I respect videos and recipes of them. Nevertheless, I find value in what you post, and I get excited anytime I get an alert that you’ve posted. God bless you and I love you as well!
Hi navajo grandma, thank you for your reply. I think it's great you celebrated your birthday for a week. I love spam haven't had it in a long time but I will try the sandwich you showed. One time I cut up spam and cooked it in the microwave and put in some saurkraut and that was good. Have a great day! And blessings on you and grandpa and all the kids! Love and peace! Ruth
Hi there Ruth I was replying and outta no where it disappeared. Hey love that "Sprechen Sie Deutsch" food, I love saying that. I can only say a few words in German and it makes me smile. I hope you enjoy making that sandwich, its just something I love to eat now and then. I know you can make any type of sandwich with frybread but lots of carbs "darn it!" Well again thank you for your kind comment and blessings. We all need those. Love and Hugs to you Ruth. Navajo Grandma
Tamara, Hi sweetheart, miss seeing you. Hope all went well with your hubby's cool book stuff!! I still want to buy one. We need to go out and eat with "you" this time. You got to try this. It is very good. You have 3/4 of it the way you both make the frybread so good. Now to make a sandwich. Its good. Do it your way. Enjoy and good to see you commenting. Hugs. Navajo Grandma
Yum! Cant go wrong with spam. I like the corned beef that comes in a tin can too. Its just hard opening it with that crazy key. Iv been wanting to try making fry bread so this would be a good recipe. We dont have that blue bird flour just store brand, pillsbury, n white lily i think. I made the tortillas before. Hope i can find the chiles here. I dont have a grill can you roast them in the oven. Thanks for sharing! Much love💕
Dah diníilghaazh is so yummy! I love making it. The sandwich sounds delicious! Have you ever sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on some frybread and ate it like a dessert? We do in my family and it's great! Love your videos Navajo Grandma. ❤
Well yes, that is coming up and how you can eat it with ice cream. Frybread is frybread and is so versatile. Want to show how to make soup noodles too. Love you so and don't get addicted too much carbs. LOL! Love to you with hugs. Navajo Grandma
Only a wonderful creative woman of intelligence like you .....yesss, that works. I also turn on the broil with a bakeware, cookie sheet underneath as the Anaheim juice will drip. Broil it dark like mine on the video, both sides. Walla you got it sister! Love you!! Yummie food. Aloha nui, Navajo Grandma
Again Long time! There's so much more I want to say, but for right now is Bluebird still coming in cloth bags? If so would you be willing to send me some if I paid for it? We'll talk about it later I'm just curious. I can't get it where I'm at. I just really want some Bluebird bags. I'm not going to cut them apart I want to use them to put something else in. Kind of like luggage. LOL much love. I still will always remember you from the first video I saw of you with your granddaughter or niece making fry bread.
Wow that was long ago when you saw that video. Now my granddaughter has graduated from High School and my grandkids in the Yucca hair wash video are all in 2nd grade and back then they were little. Time does fly and I wish it would not. Yes I am going to give you a phone number to call to ask for some bags. Its where they make the Bluebird flour. I don't have any as I give them to my daughter in law who makes stuff out of them. Its Cortez Milling Company in Cortez, Colorado. Here is their phone number: (970) 565-3119. I hope that helps. I hope you are okay and being safe sweet one. Grandma missed you as you are such a great commenter and an honest one. Love that. Praying for you always. Safety hugs, Navajo Grandma
And I have a question about the flour. We have Blue Bird flour here in Denver. It said it's made in Pueblo, CO. Both packages say wheat flour. Will that effect the flavor and consistency? I was hoping they had a white flour as well. Customers online were saying if you want that chewy flavor that the bread is famous for use Blue Bird.
Actually do you want to know the "truth." There is no difference, honestly, maybe a vitamin here or there that is not added, or some silly thing. Its all flour and the same. I would ask you to read about it. When I did I was like so what is so different? Really nothing. Use whatever flour you want. But there is a slight difference using Blue Bird. They have a mill in Cortez and we buy it from the Mill. The white flour is from white corn. If that doesn't sound hard to swallow. LOL! Yellow corn from yellow corn. LOL again. The wheat flour is milled and different additives are added. But hold onto your comment about what vitamins are added? Well some are, you have to understand not all vegetables are getting the natural vitamins from the ground as long ago, thus there are additives that I don't mind eating as they are not chemicals like to make GMO junk. Yes, and also make sure what flour you buy has no GMO. GMO - Genetically Modified Organisms created in a lab. Nope don't buy it, its cheaper but don't do it. You want nothing genetically modified in your body even tho most of the meats now are. I don't eat regular meat bought from the store either. Go to a Kosher store for your meats. If you want or butcher the sheep or cow or whatever yourself. Oh well I said too much. Safe EAting hugs!! LOL! Navajo Grandma
Here is the skinny on all this: Bleached flour has a whiter color, finer grain, and softer texture, while unbleached flour has a denser grain and tougher texture. Bleached flour is treated with chemical agents to speed up the aging process. Amen
Yes depending upon what type of flour you are using 8Mosadogg$, this is why Grandma says to make this recipe yours. You will use whatever flour you will and that amount of water changes. Because of the type of flour grandma was using the amount of water used is up to 4 cups. Again I always say, you know the consistency that is best for you and you determine when to add more or to use less, add more flour or not. This is not perfect if that is what you are seeking. It is like this when anyone cooks, bakes etc. You will never make any breads the same everytime. There is always something to consider, elevation, type of flour, etc. I mentioned that during this video and to make it your own. Great comment. Navajo Grandma
Well Lee, Good Morning. We had this sandwich last night and glad we were able to show how simple dimple it is to make. We eat it now and then. Thanks for watching. Navajo Grandma
Oh yes, spam is the go to and all thruout the world. You would be surprised in every country. I love spam and top Ramen with peas, corn, broccoli etc. So yummie!! Ono galore!! Aloha nui loa my sweet one from the islands!! Navajo Grandma
🥰🙏 Yatahey Aunty Navajo Grandma! It's been a long time. Hope you and Chei are doing well. Looks good but I dont eat process meat anymore. Eat too much of itll cause cancers. ~|~💖&L|GHT~|~
Actually do you know what "moderation in all things means?" Well its like you eat this now and then over a month or two as gpa and I do and my children. As you grow older you do change in taste and needs. This is full of carbs and whatever else the spam has. And yes sodium. But remember there are two slices and I always try to explain, there is power in prayer too. We were taught to always pray over our food. I always ask that what is not good for my body in what I am partaking of will go out the other end without any problems and the rest will strengthen and help my body. That is it. I know it is true. Being scared of cancer is not a good thing. Although Dr's tell us we all have that in our bodies, we can keep it dormant thru prayer and being nice, serving others and praying always and again. Drinking water and no soda, etc. We are bad food habit eaters. I always will remember at BYU we had a Jewish Concentration camp guy who talked with us. He told of his horrific stories of being treated inhumanely. When it came to water there was none. At least none given to make life worse for the Jews. So this dear man said, when he was thirsty he would ask for water and the German officers would say, sure we know you are thirsty. Instead of going to get it, they would ask for the Jew's cup and then they would unzip their pants and pee into the cup and fill it up with their pee. Now remember this is all he had to drink. So although it wasn't something you or Ii would drink, he said, he reverently took the full cup of urine and reverently blessed it. He said, when you bless your food or water, there is changes that occurs thru God's blessing. He then said, it then took faith to ask that the urine would taste like water. He then ended his prayer. He then said, "he drank the urine and it did taste like water, it did hydrate him and that is how he survived out of thousands who were taken to the gas showers. He said, while there was an uproar, he was lined up and he prayed to God that He would show him a way out of this. Sure enough, when the uproad came, he walked away into the early morning darkness and half clothed because they were told they were going to shower. He made it thru the fields and wires and he returned home and carefully rode on a train and made it to freedom. He lived and came to Utah and shared this story with us. Fear is not of God. Doesn't mean you can't fear sickness and bad health, but do pray always. I will tell you what I say as this has helped serve grandma during this covid. We got sick for one day and God is watching over us. Here is what I say, remember this with reverence for it is pure faith and true: "My dear Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that we shall walk and run and not faint, that the angel of death shall pass us by, that we shall look to our Savior, Jesus Christ as the Children of Israel were admonished to look to the Brass Serpent when the snakes came and those who looked to the Brass Serpent did live. The Brass Serpent being the symbolism of Jesus Christ. I pray that no sickness, disease, witch craft, bacteria, virus or covid of any sort, in any fashion shall be smitten down by the power of Jesus Christ. That we shall live, breath, and renewed daily thru our faith in Jesus Christ. That we shall live to be kind, to serve others and do as Jesus did when he walked this earth." Etc. That is how grandma prays. Please do this with faith and you shall walk and run and not faith and that the angel of death shall pass you by as you look to Jesus Christ our Savior. Know this. I know this with every fiber of my soul. Amen. Healing Hugs.

Thank you and may God bless you.
Same to you! Thank you for watching Michael. Maybe try this one day. Hugs. Navajo Grandma
Looks delicious. This type of fried bread bread is made on most of the islands in the Caribbean. We love it and it's good with just about anything.

AMEN SISTAR!! what a creative mind you have and yes that is the idea. Great comment and thank you always for watching. Navajo Grandma

OMG I want like 3 of those!
It's all wheat flour. They have an unbleached & bleached. IDK one time I made pancakes with a box that said wheat flour and I thought they were nasty.
You make me laugh!! I had one and it was quite filling. The taste is fantastic. I always say, "don't get addicted!" Hugs with a smile. Navajo Grandma
Amen
This recipe has about double amount of water for what I would use for that amount of wheat
Good morning.

Navajo Grandma

Where’s the commodity cheese?
I know right! Grandpa has to have cheese with this and that, I have to say no to a lot since his stroke. So I have never had cheese with this, just plain old sandwich but tastee as ever. Yum. Great comment. By the way I remember that cheese tasting better than any other cheese on earth. LOL! Navajo Grandma

Well said and thank you for watching anyway. Spam is not for everyone. And your honesty is wonderful. Love and hugs. Navajo Grandma
