Funny thing about these videos, they always make it look so easy and without the moderate amount of swearing that usually occurs when I do it.
Holy shit, a car company that makes a common part replacement easy?!!!
@@E550benz fantastic video man
I tried ALL the pulleys including the one you said to losin the old belt and nothing has gotten my current one loose
How many kms/miles did you have on it when u replaced belt
@@E550benz Already thanks. I was thinking about changing mine to refresh it. But I'm only at about 81000 kms
11,000 miles...
What is the name of the mechanic? Is he Konok?
I think this is for the BK1 2.0T, the BK2 is different
Exact same set up
Is it the same for 2010 Genesis 3.8 sedan
Thank you for your great vid, changed mine with confidence and quickness 😁
Thanks, dude. Need to replace my belt and will be replacing the main pullies soon on my Genny. This is very helpful!
Great video you save us money and time .
This is good for any bk 2.0t right?
Nice video with excellent camera angles...
Came here to say the same thing. Wonderful camera work my guy!
Keep this shit up! you're helping us all out.
Hey I just can’t help but notice there was a leak right behind the belt what do you think I could because I have the same thing
Ayee thank you so much dude 😭🙏🏻the only one ima struggle with is the alternator since their is hoses to remove and the intercooler pipes and connections 😞
If squeeking occurs whats the problem?
On a 3.8 the diagram and process is the same?
thank you but do you know why on mine the bottom right one only takes the belt halfway when i turn the car on it’s sticking out more than all the other pulleys
Thank you!
Gracias homie
Hello, good video, it helps a lot, thank you, do you have the diagram to share?
Thanks for the video. Time to switch out the A/C pulley 😭
Wow, that alignment is terrible on the pulley
Thank you brother. Very helpful video...
I used the santa fe pulley for $32 from autozone made in germany instead of replacing the entire tension pulley at $319 from hyundai parts
How do you know when to replace the tension pulley?
What year is this Genesis?
Quick Question,
Have you ever changed the spark plugs? If so, what did you Gap them to? Stock i found was 0.28 which is not that great
@@E550benz I have a stock setup currently, Should i shift to 0.036 as well or nah? I find that my acceleration has been weaker/slower since changing my spark plugs, could this be because maybe i didnt gap them all the same size (Negligible differences im assuming) or is something else affecting this? (Maybe cat converter?) Thanks in advance man!
@@TWor1d stock wouldn’t be 28 more in the 30s. With any tune they recommend one step cold plugs. You’ll get boost cut if you don’t gap down
Totally changed mine solo after watching your video 🙌🏻 super easy, great job explaining and the diagram was super helpful!
😢
I love these videos. This is really going to come in handy in a few thousand miles when I need to change my timing chain. Keep it up!
