I had assumed all these years that he was a dude just trying to "act big". Looked him up, gained a level or respect I am embarrassed to think I ever thought what I thought. The years of fighting for strongman he has done make me ashamed, I just thought he was a commentator. He's cool with being made fun of. I think every athlete actually respects him. So it's all cool. The video is humorously awesome on so many levels though. =)

@@jrmayun I was at Wolrds Strongest Man 2019. Everyone there is huge, even the people in the crowd. The competitors are just on another level. kieliszkowski is tall as fuck, and the Stoltman brothers are gigantic too. Brian and Hafthor just don't look human anymore, they are closer to bears or some other large animal
Plus with Eddie being so thick.... that also makes him look shorter as opposed to looking like a 6'3 monster.

diego sanchez I believe it is that, and that he knows there is a line to not cross with Brian. Obviously we have never seen it, but I firmly believe that Brian has told Eddie on how far he can go with the jokes. As MOST people would let Hall just joke them constantly, and Hall would probably look at you as weak for not sticking up for yourself, I'm positive that Brian at some point told him "this is the line, you do not cross it". I've been the same way with people, and maybe you have too. You will push and push the personal jokes (insults) and see if that person will stand up for himself and say, "your joking me, I get it, but you crossed a line you better never cross again". I respect those people, and I'm almost 100% that something like this went down between them. Ed absolutely respects Brian and you can tell that Eddie doesn't respect many people.
