- On this episode we feature the most insane drag Lamborghini we've had the pleasure of filming! Jordan and AMS performance built an amazing machine, they put on quite a show pulling massive wheelies and running consistent 7 second 1/4 mile passes all weekend. Why not? They've had the power to do them for a couple decades. No one wants to do wheelies (besides wheelie cars for show) because you start tearing shit up.

@@nick4819 I think he's saying that because you're usually used to seeing RWD drag cars popping wheelies. Now there's an RWD version of the Huracan too but this one's AWD, and honestly it's kinda mindblowing to think about an AWD car popping wheelies this big.
@@WrektSK even non-turbo Aventador SVs pop wheelies on drag strips on their stock tires, though not this high. Having the engine behind the driver and the transmission behind the rear axle would help induce wheelies compared to cars that have engines in front of the driver and transmissions in front of the rear axle. The mickey thompsons, lightweight body, and big power help a lot though.

Huracans have always been vastly more reliable then other cars UGR ran 8 consecutive 250mph+ runs in their Huracan and nothing went wrong.
i was thinking it man... no mercy for that huracan and took it like a champ...
Such a consistent performance, only .01 seconds difference between runs
Big plus about wheeling a lambo is you dont have to worrying about smacking the oil pan on the way back down! That looked like a hella wild ride..

I used to play Cruisin' World as a kid at Walmart when they had them in the entryway back in the day, and use that trick. I actually went to an arcade with a friend and her kiddos for the kid's birthday recently and I played a new version of Cruisin' World/USA world. I did that allll throughout the race trying to figure out if it gave you an edge. It kinda did if you needed to make a quick turn but it didn't help on the top end at all lol. It still was a lot of fun doing wheelies all over the place for all time's sake. And of course the kids were like, "how the hell did you do that?!"🤣
I’m sure it’s was like 90/10 on the power split, wild to see the Lambo drag racing on huge MT tires. High way pulls with fireballs are basic now lol
yeah im thinking the same, it looks like it even has a handbrake for drifting also so i was thinking it looked mostly RWD too
@@brittanyreilly4536 The “handbrake” lever used to be just that when the car was raced on Hyperdrive. Now the lever is used to throw the chutes. And the car is still AWD.

@@diambo4life I've been to atco drag strip in New Jersey i usually go with my friend when he is racing he's team name is la marangeli racing he got I believe the 2nd fastest toyota startlet in the world runing 6.7 in the 1/4 mile he knows the owner of that team!! that 5 second car is a monster in person!!!

He needs a wheelie bar or some chassis mods to help keep the nose down, maybe its not allowed due to class restrictions 🤔

Power to weight ratio is probably the second most important step in drag racing. Its crucial to building a fast car.
Although the Lamborghini still technically won it trapped higher. It just didn't cross the line first.
That DSM holds a lot of awd world speed records. The lambo even jumped the light and left well before the DSM did and the DSM still beat it and won. Thing is a beast. 4G63 💪💪
