@@Katiekay.First, let me say that in no way whatsoever am I defending what this awful girl has done. She is a terrible person, and she completely infuriates me! However, I just wanted to give some insight on some oncology pts. My hubby has had a rare type of chronic leukemia for 20 yrs. When he was first dxd, he was given 5 yrs bc young ppl tend not to get his type. He’s still here 20 yrs later, looks normal, takes an oral dose of chemo daily, and still works. Looking at him, one would NEVER guess he has cancer so while it’s not the “norm” for a oncology pt, some oncology pts don’t look sick at all. It sets a dangerous precedent to categorize all oncology pts into one set of expected appearances.

When I was a nursing student, I had a rotation where I spent a day in an oncology clinic. I’ll never forget seeing this one lady come in with her husband who was having to help hold her up while she walked to the room where the doctor would see her. I went with the doctor into the room and saw a woman who was absolutely beaten due to the radiation. She was sobbing, clenching her abdomen, shaking, looked like she hadn’t slept in weeks, and her eyes were begging for help. The doctor told her that they should consider taking a break because it was causing her harm at this point and she proceeded to cry in a way I had never heard before. She told him they couldn’t stop and begged him to help her because she was afraid of dying if she stopped since it could spread. She upset herself so much that she proceeded to dry heave as she wasn’t able to keep food or liquids down. Cancer is not a joke and is not something to lie about. Not everyone’s journey is like this, but I’ll never forget the desperation in this woman’s voice and how cancer was beating her down no matter how hard she fought. She should be ashamed to fake such a vile disease. Bless those who face this battle, I pray we see a day where the treatments aren’t harsh and don’t harm people just as much as the actual disease

Like he was trying to be strong for her but he wanted her better and would have taken her suffering for her. It really isn't. aside from situations like this, I don't talk about my experience because 90% of patients have it worse than I did. It was more of what was going on around me that was traumatic, like my job not giving me any time off for treatment. I had very early caught skin cancer and was able to treat it at home, didn't need chemo or rads. But even a basic b* story like that isn't something to lie about. Fraud like this is literally getting so bad, charities have to ask for medical records now.

I'm a cancer survivor (11 years ago I had a lymphoma and 9 months of chemo via a picline in my arm directly pumped into my heart (not the same as a port but similar). And usually, port are installed on people who will have lots of chemo for a long time, through there heart directly, liquid form. It's just so infuriating to me that someone would fake having cancer. IIt's making me very troubbled and sad.

When my father was diagnosed with cancer we were in the middle of moving across the county, Him, myself, my husband and my son. For months I was wheeling him to and from his truck, wheeling him into doctor offices, treatment centers and hospitals.
The week before he passed he said he wasn't feeling well and felt that the treatments were killing him. The day before he passed he got his prosthetic leg and rang the bell at his last radiation appointment. He was so excited to be able to walk again because he's always worked even after he had many surgeries and even going through treatments, feeling like crap, was in the garage building and fixing stuff. I'd never once thought about going online for sympathy, never took selfies with him while he was in chemo, I just have a lot of problems with people exploding stuff like that. All that to say, this woman is absolutely disgusting to lie about all of the heartache and pain cancer causes. Watching someone turn into a completely different person because their body is betraying them is so, so awful.

I have such a hard time managing to afford money and meds (I can’t afford everything I need I just take what I can afford when I can) but I haven’t asked for help like this. It’s not right to me. So many people out there can’t afford any meds, they need help and cannot ever get it from anyone. I have no family to support me but I have a couple of good friends now, it’s an amazing thing. My hubby lost 70lbs. And she made a big mistake by picking the worst of the worst, pancreatic cancer. Very rarely ever survivable. Not sure if anyone posted an update but she changed her plea to guilty. No word on sentencing yet. I guess she realized that her goose was cooked and there was no way a trial was going to win her any sympathy.
It appears she did this all over a guy. She faked a pregnancy in the past to try and get this guy to leave his wife (yes, she was sleeping with a married GRANDFATHER!) and this whole thing was for her to get some attention, get money to nest egg with him, and get him to leave his family. I'm not sure if he will be found liable in all of this but he did set up the go fund and bail her out of jail.

Not only did my parents go through their life savings, my husband(the sweetest man on earth) & I gave up our savings for us to buy a home. We moved in with my parents.
In order for them not to lose their home, & for us to help.
All in the name of keeping my father alive!
He fought hard, then lost the battle after 3 & 1/2 years.
I seen my dad go through living hell!
Which I can't even go into details it's just too painful.
Where I can even image a person who is going through their own living hell, & seeing this psycho, cold hearted B, fake this & collect money. When there is people going through their own living hell and still have to worry about how they're going to pay for treatment that will keep them alive.
