When I tell you that suction toy is a must have 😮💨
Pink sauce is the best example of Tiktok’s micro-trend behavior. Just because a product goes viral doesn’t mean is good or is going to do well in the market.
YES 🙌 I don't sell anything consumable but I have been working at my buisness for years now. She had such a nonchalant attitude for people's safety. I'd feel horrible if someone's item got damaged, nevermind hurt them 😬
@@jojocaitlin8508I'm glad she's failing, what a loser
I think it could've been good in the market imo but people dont like the owner for her attitude, so that may have been a factor for ita downfall.
@@NurRadzithe sauce didn't have a distinct taste and the pink was very light in the Walmart version
If I want a pink sauce I'd buy mayonnaise and mix it with Korean red bean paste. The pink sauce shouldn't be bright pink or bland in taste if it is like every other sauce
Her attitude's been appalling from Day 1. Attacking people for legit constructive criticism? NOPE. I feel bad for her kids, but she's her own worst enemy.
her appearance on the Karamo show was such a hot mess
She really is. I feel like anyone else could make the brand work and get rich off it but she's like her own crab in the bucket because she dont have the common sense to sit back and let Dave do all the work.
I just can't take her seriously. She literally sent people rotten sauce, didn't know what the FDA is, and has basically been yelling that the internet has a hater conspiracy against her since day 1. This woman seems totally nuts to me and I would never buy anything attached to her.
She really said, with her whole chest, “I AM a millionaire. I just haven’t been paid it yet.” Like girl aren’t we all? Huh??
Legit the joke about some Americans considering themselves "temporarily embarrassed millionaires".
Right 😂 I guess I’m a millionaire too with that logic
I'm a billionaire... I don't mix with those peasants millionaires 😂😂😂😂
I think she blew the $120k because she thought she'd hit it big, the sauce would be a hit, and she'd get regular royalty checks of the same amount. She either didn't read or didn't understand that was an advance and she'd get nothing else until it was "earned out" and it turns out no one likes the sauce.
Yup that’s what happened.
How do you blow that much money...
@@unturned6066 Extremely easy, dawg. Trust me. I don't make even 50% of that amount in a year but I can definitely think of how to spend that money if I believed more would be coming. I would be paying off debts, buying clothes, paying off the mortgage, getting a car...etc. In today's economy, $120,000 is a HUGE amount of money but trust me when I say you can plow through it QUICCCCCKKKKKKKKK. Look how much eggs cost in the grocery store?!?! Lmao
She doesn't understand what the FDA is, makes total sense that she doesn't understand how contracts work either.
@@unturned6066 because $125k isn't really that much money. Not in today's world. Give a bunch to relatives and friends, move to a better apartment, and go on a couple of big shopping trips, and you're broke again.
I hate to point out the obvious, but if she's having trouble paying rent or putting food on the table for her kids, she could get a job maybe? 🤷♀Sitting around waiting for the royalties she believes she's owed doesn't preclude her from working a regular job in the meantime...
She has too big of an ego to do "poor people" work like we do.
For real. She was even advised by Dave’s to keep a regular job because the Royalties wouldn’t always cover stuff.
Dave's Gourmet situation with Chef Pi is a good example of "give them an inch and they'll grab a mile."
They legit tried to help her by making and marketing the sauce in a proper way, and she accuses THEM of trying to rip her off.
As a small buisness owner myself, I was VERY critical of her when the first issues with safety, packaging, and label inconsistencies started. I started selling at 19 and have never messed up that bad.
I had so many people jump on me and tell me she deserves a second chance and its mistakes every new buisness makes. Its not. It all seemed like a money grab from the start. Im baffled that she has raised $25,000 from hardworking people just to cover her ass for being reckless in persuit of more money. I really don't understand this attitude of giving her multiple chances when she is and has endangered people's health.
I honestly believe she is the greedy one and sadly she put all her eggs in one basket. She literally thought the Pink Sauce would have her set for life. Things come and go. Products don’t last forever. She knows nothing about how to run a business or sell a product.
Heck even different flavored ranches made by Hidden Valley don't seem to sell as much as regular ranch and clearly she thought Pink Sauce would top it lol.
Well think about the pool noodle inventor. Keeps me up at night lol A millionaire because of $4 pool noodles 😂
Yes- she has convinced herself all of this would have her set for life, funding some extravagant lifestyle indefinitely. So delusional! She's making claims about the sauce not being the right color or flavor, but it's obvious to me that her original formula was a ticking time bomb to several lawsuits so this company tried to make the sauce in a safe, realistic way. I don't get it though -- big companies have released colored ketchups and such, and they never do well long term because they're gross. I've never looked at an unnaturally colored sauce and said to myself, "This is so delectable, I need MORE!" It's gross is what it is. If she had any sense, she could find all the information on this, and she also would have had an attorney and an accountant handle her messy life for her.
She seems like a great example of the dunning-kruger effect. The fact that she ever said "If I was running this everything would be so pristine, so amazing" when she arrogantly proclaimed the FDA has nothing to do with food, and equates "all the marketing" with millions of dollars as if she's not paying for the marketing through her partnership with Dave's. Guarantee, Dave's saved her from lawsuits from the FDA, and may have also saved her from issues with the IRS, though it'll be interesting to see if anything comes from that because if she truly went through $120,000 in payments to her LLC in a year and is facing eviction, I'd be worried if she paid the business and income taxes on that.
Exactly!!!! And she has no clue what costs Dave's Gourmet has with all ingredients, packaging, shipping, machinery (usage of bc she doesn't have it), they do everything.. how much does she thinks she deserves when THEY pay for everything...and it's not selling!! The initial sale to all those Walmart stores then nothing . Did she think it would turn into Heinz ketchup??? Nope..... With kids she should have spent her money better!!!!!
Granted, $120k doesn’t go quite as far as people believe, there’s no doubt (judging her for, well, her and her antics) she didn’t plan well. If she was such a great business woman she would have watched sales numbers, looked for a small investment to make or use the bulk to launch a new product. I do have to defend her only so far as the $120k, especially where she lives, in this current economic climate, it truly doesn’t spread as far as one would think. Especially if she owes taxes! Then, in that case, she cleared about half that. Granted, these were her issues before her product was bought, she knew her expenses. Not to mention, I don’t believe her finances are that bad, meaning she has cash in the bank from somewhere. She had her big home BEFORE the sauce existed. She had money coming in somewhere already.
She’s just shooting off her other foot in hopes of getting a huge payday or control back of her sauce, from Dave.
@@jessicah4462 I totally understand after taxes , it's not a huge sum of money but when my husband (commercial electrician) was laid off for months bc of supply issues, unemployment wasn't even half of his wages .. we have NO credit cards, had a small savings, and we were able to pay all our bills, take care of our now 16 yr old son, and yes bills, groceries are astronomical!!!! But if you spend wisely, knowing what bills are, that you have children to take care of, she should of planned better... I honestly think she thought this was gonna be a long standing item.... like Heinz ketchup or something. In reality it was kinda a one hit wonder. Dave's gourmet can't be paying her that much per bottle when they are responsible for absolutely everything in the production, testing, ingredients, packing, packaging, shipping, making deals with stores.... she acts like she should be a millionaire and she could do it better... ummm ms. Pink sauce you have no clue all that goes into making and distribution of a product.... Nor does she have the facilities to do so ... she tried herself and failed.... I think Dave's paid her what she is owed, per their contract and she thought she would make millions, fast. It doesn't work that way. I don't think her mom is supporting her kids with $20 a day from her disability. If this is true, apply for emergency food stamps, go to a food bank, churches help, etc.... I think she just wants money via the go fund me to live the lifestyle she THINKS she should. Trust me , we lost everything in a house fire 5 years ago.... and we built our lives back up with very little help. No insurance money for us bc it was owned by family and even tho we paid everything for over 11 years, money changes ppl....but that's a long story. But we did it , on one income. She needs to get a job like everyone else. It's hard out here for a majority of the population. I hate when ppl use their children to prey on others heart strings. It's sad and disgusting.....
@@jessicah4462 I agree $120k doesn't go as far as we'd think, but kind of in line with what you were getting at, I was thinking about it as she had a life and a house and money before, so the $120k should have just been extra for saving or investing or paying down debt and the fact that it's gone AND she's facing eviction is just...baffling
@@jessicah4462 In business, yes 120K can go fast, but I have a STRONG feeling the OG post is right about her not paying her taxes. Working as a legal editor, one of the most common legal documents I see relates to business taxes. All small businesses and 1099 workers who didn't do their W9s with their contractor often don't realize how much their taxes will actually be.
Chef P was saying "make it make sense"... It's as if she forgot about the F for food in FDA by the time she got to the D for drug.
I honestly don't think she read the contract she made with that company. She mentioned that they sent her a negative balance at one point which sounds like they're saying that she owes them money. My theory is that their agreement wasn't just that the company would take over all costs and pay her royalties, but that she'd pay for production and distribution through the profits and if the profits didn't cover the costs, she'd pay the difference. Even if this isn't the case, the sauce has not sold nearly enough for her to be owed millions for it. 120k sounds about right.
Honestly, she's also kind of an idiot for so completely depending on the sauce for living expenses and wasting a lot of the money when it's not even been established for a year. She has such a victim complex too. Anything that goes wrong has to be someone else's fault and can't possibly be her own mistake.
100% this. She thought going viral meant instant success and saw a large company and assumed she’d be making all profit. She doesn’t understand how much it costs to manufacture and market a product like this and she definitely didn’t understand her contract.
That’s a good thought. I assumed it was because they gave her several cash advances which then needed to be paid back via later royalty payments.
@@IsaRican810 The company actually came out with a statement recently that basically said that was the case so my theory was wrong, but still right that she's an idiot for having wasted the money and depending on those paychecks to continue to be that big.
I saw the pink sauce in Walmart a while back. It wasn’t pink at all, it was beige, AND it was on serious clearance. Her attitude is a big reason I never felt the urge to buy it.
100% it's been on shelves around here for weeks and to me it really doesn't seem like anyone here is buying it. It's beige as hell and even if people were into it, I still wouldn't buy it due to her attitude and ignorance.
@@tombsofak If I said to myself "I might buy this in an actual store" after seeing it online and when I go to buy it and its BEIGE? I wouldn't wanna buy it at all
This is a serious example of why everything has food coloring in it. Otherwise it doesn't stay the color you want for long at all.
The Food science channel How to Cook That did a video about pink sauce a while back. The beige coloring seems to be due to the ingredient that causes that bright pink color naturally gets discolored over time. So like the above comment said, without artificial coloring it’s not going to stay that bright pink.
my sister in christ you didn't know what the F in FDA stood for, I'm having a real hard time feeling bad for you
God, the way she was so so confident, while being so so wrong about the FDA ☠️
Oh Dave, Dave, Dave…this is what happens when you get into business with someone who has no business being in business. She’s lucky they haven’t sued her for breach of contract. I’m certain the contract has a clause related to non-disparagement.
Miss girl didn't even know what the FDA was... why would anyone ever want to take on a food product that was created by someone like her 😂🤦🏻♀️
This is what I refer to as "putting your dick in crazy." She's clearly on some goofy cash grab. Why any reputable company would want to work with her after violating her state's cottage law and impersonating a government official is beyond me.

Sis… you started it & didn’t even know what the FDA was… 😂😂 she is really wild!
I know, she's literally working with a company because she tried to run it herself and crashed and burned almost immediately.
Not only did she blow through the money but you know how long it takes to get a judgment for an eviction. She has not paid her rent in a REALLY long time.
right? This is a problem long in the making and shes trying to con her way out of homelessness due to her bad financial choices.
Post COVID they can evict you in 28-31 days actually.
If I don’t pay my rent we are evicted given a notice for eviction within 24 hours, actually.
@@asmrtpop2676 yes you get the notice very quickly, but to actually go to eviction court and get the judgement takes months sometimes
Lol I was ordering a whole bottle of a local Cajun restaurants PINK SAUCE when I saw this video pop up. Unlike this pink sauce the Cajun pink sauce is to die for - without the actual dying.
It's time for her to be honest and just admit it was ranch with pink food coloring all along.
Is that what was going on? LMFAO 😆😆 She's funny because colored sauces have never done well, and the big companies already know that because they've tried it a few times with ketchups and other condiments.
@@EMILY4DAYS I'm pretty sure because the first sauce she showed was such a vibrant pink. The sauces she actually sold had this dull rose-ish beige. She shot herself in the foot by claiming that the color came from the natural ingredients.
@@awetistic5295 How To Cook That proved it's possible to get that colour from the listed ingredients. My guess would be the colour is real, it just doesn't last very long.
@@hermenegildakociubinska6665 Sounds interesting, I gotta check it out! Lack of stability seems to have been one of the main issues with that stuff...
@@hermenegildakociubinska6665 she actually proved the expensive ass pink pitayas were the ones that POSSIBLY could get that colour. And she also ignored the order of listed ingredients since it would be not possible to achieve that colour without changing a lot of the quantities.
really curious what math she's doing to say they owe her "millions" with apparently 200,000 bottles sold
Came to the comments to say this... she's completely delulu
Because she's an entitled brat is the only reason she thinks she is owed that and doesn't realize stores are sending back her products which means they lose money
My assumption would be that in her brilliant business mind, she thinks Dave's owes her the entire gross revenue ($7 a bottle)(200,000 bottles)= $1.4 million.
@abunlover this is exactly what her understanding is.
@@abunlover that’s what I’m guessing also. But that’s delulu because anybody with that type of contract would HAVE to know going into it that they don’t get to keep 100% of revenue?? Right?????
Dragonfruit and coconut mixed with ranch and onion powder seems like eating a salad while drinking a fruit drink, but they have already chewed it up and put it in a bottle for you.
it also has vinegar, but some bottles werent properly labeled, so we have no idea what the original ingredients list was.
Sounds nasty which is prob why it's on clearance
She was so out of line for treating that girl the way she did in that tv show. Looked her in her eye and told her “youre not special” all because she questioned your product……that needed questioning. She lost me after that.
What blows my mind about her is people already gave her constructive criticism and another sauce company owner reached out to her to help her out before and she rejected the help. And then tried to blame Ally for not holding her hand and accusing her of sending hate.
she has also said multiple times people are hating on her because shes black. Like potentially killing people isnt a problem to us, just her race. shes fr stupid.
“If I was running it, things would be pristine”
Girl, we saw what happened last time, glitter glue and all 👀
Right???
-she clearly doesn't understand FDA
-seemingly no quality control of product
- a dumpster fire of a show interview
- sending out products in incorrect packaging
- responded badly to customer concerns
Like girl, what? 😂 she probably would've fallen off sooner if Dave's gourmet hadn't picked her up
It’s surprising anyone ever took this idea seriously, or her for that matter.
Im going to be honest it sounds like only her and the sauce company took it seriously seen as how she is “broke” (press x for doubt on that since she claimed she owned a catering company and was a private chef)

I’m shook she even landed in Walmart after such a rocky start 😳 they must’ve thought it going viral on TikTok would be enough to carry the sales smfh..
She is insuring that no company will ever consider working with her ever again.
It's a shame because if I was Dave's I wouldn't want to do something like this ever again, and that could take away other legitimate opportunities for smaller chefs that don't have a platform or the access to mass market a product.
She does not understand what the FDA does, how her sauce behaves in various conditions, how to manage money, how to take accountability, how to shut your trap to save yourself from incriminating evidence, how to back up your allegations with evidence... The list goes on. Certified professional delulu adult. 😂
She said 200k bottles were sold to stores.
Over 50c per bottle to her when it's not even high demand (literally going on clearance like you showed) and she has literally no costs involved is crazy good
This lady really is getting into some trouble. Also being a chef i am surprised beets didn´t came to her mind when looking for an ingredient that added flavor and pink color to the sauce.
Beets? Interesting... I didn't think beyond red food color and mayo....
Yes! if you know how to make homemade mayo, just boil the beet and add some pieces of beet when you start blending the egg + condiments, before starting to add the oil, if you try it you can thank me later. It gives you a really strong pink mayo!, No need for food coloring
I still feel she could’ve made a cookbook with a recipe for the sauce and dishes that could pair with it. Simple (ish), fun activity to do, and no one would have possibly risked their health. That’s just my hindsight, though.
this would have been a perfect way of doing it, much more simple and since she claims she's a chef, should be easy for her to do
@@mothmadi_ A private chef at that it would go fantastically, although I don't think people will wanna eat the sauce with anything if they see the colour of it the next day

I'm overthinking too much for a sauce lol
Her sauce did not sell well and the ingredients/recipe likely had to be changed for mass production and shelf stability. When she originally made it, she was using dragon fruit for coloring (How To Cook That did a great video breaking down how she did it). Either she just signed off on everything and let Dave's do whatever with the sauce or she didn't pay attention to how poorly it was selling. Like, it was out for MONTHS and looked like a different product. She had plenty of time to talk to them about it, I think she just didn't care.
As a food scientist and product developer I can provide some context to the formula and problems resulting from the commercialization of it. Her kitchen recipe just isn’t “scalable” from an ingredient or price perspective and more importantly, isn’t able to be made shelf-stable (not require refrigeration) without some major formula adjustments, as CLEARLY demonstrated by her failed first product launch. For one, the color in dragon fruit, and most any other fruit, isn’t stable at low pH (acidic) nor for any length of time, so the pink did and will continue to dissipate over time. This is why artificial colorants over natural colors are so widely used. It’s very likely that the product coming fresh off the line is brighter/pinker than when it gets sold. Secondly, In order for a sauce to be shelf stable it either needed to be pre-cooked and filled into a sterile container, the pH needs to be acidified below 4.6 by way of citric acid, vinegar, lemon juice, etc or BOTH. Either of these things will drastically affect the flavor, color, texture of any recipe so that needs to be taken into consideration. I doubt chef P had much involvement in the formulation of the Dave’s version and all she provided were the rights/name, but she just saw dollar signs and signed it away without understanding it’s lack of scalability. Now that it looks and tastes COMPLETELY different from her kitchen recipe and isn’t being well reviewed, she wants to distance herself from it and for some reason feels entitled to more money from them. It’s THEIR production facility, their staff, their business, their operating costs, etc. I’d say $120K for the rights to a sauce that she just cleverly thought to use dragonfruit as an “eye catching” addition is a great deal for her. Sorry for being so long winded, just had to add my 2 cents.
I think she straight up doesn't know how a real business works. Obviously we don't know the contract, but if it was something like "creator will receive 25% of profits after X production costs are recouped" it would make sense that someone who hasn't done their research might assume that meant she'd be paid 25% of the entire price of the bottle. If they sold a million bottles for $7.50 each, she'd be expecting to make around $1.8 million. Of course most people would understand that profit is what's left over after paying for all the supplies, production, labor, shipping, marketing, storage, taxes, and all the other expenses involved in legit large-scale operations. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised at all if she believes the sauce is way more popular than it really is and that Dave's must be lying to steal her money because she can't imagine her product isn't selling a zillion bottles a month.
TLDR I think she genuinely _believes_ she's the victim and is owed a lot more money than she's received, but that's only because she's incompetent. Also, losing my mind at that "they told me they were helping me change the world" bit. Ma'am, you're making wing sauce, you're not curing cancer.
I’m so glad you’re talking about this lady. I’m so embarrassed for her and how she treated one of her customers during and interview with them both.
Don’t be embarrassed for her. She has herself for that. In fact, you should be laughing at her.
She sounds like a HunBot without the MLM
Not trying to make excuses for her, nor am I trying to diagnose someone just from a few minutes of a video clip, but from a mental health professional perspective… I do wonder if she possibly is in a manic episode right now. The pressured and tangential (rambling) speech to the point of it almost not making sense or derailing from the initial point, potential impulsive behaviors, seemingly potential labile moods that can switch quickly… but maybe I’m giving the benefit of the doubt and maybe this IS all calculated and schemy.
The look in her eyes in these videos is quite… unhinged when compared to her previous content. I don’t work in mental health, but I know enough to say that your assessment seems quite likely.
When she told the woman on TV "You're not special!" ...like girl. You made a pink sauce and are wearing a pink suit and pink wig. I'm gonna make a blue sauce and wear a blue wig and blue suit, like you're not special!!!

She has no one to blame but herself.
Thanks so much for going over all this! I really think this is the end for her. No one is going to want to work with her in the future because of her accusations. This has been a hot mess from the start and it doesn't surprise me it's ending like this.

Right? None of her other videos look like that. She’s acting kind of insane
What I feel happened is that people first ran out and got it enough for the lulz or what have you when it first came out and after no body has been getting it. She is probably paid per a percentage of sales and if there are no sales she gets no money and now a lawsuit. Its all just really sad honestly.
Dude! Girlyyyy I just went down the lipgloss lucky scoop rabbit hole on tiktok. I would LOVE to see a deep dive on this scammy part of tiktok ❤
Gonna be the devil’s advocate for a moment (I’m NOT Team P here-I think she’s done some things for which there is no excuse at all, like shaming critics of her dangerous products)-I think she thinks she was ripped off because she’s thinking 200,000 bottles times $8 is $1.6mil, so why doesn’t she have over a million dollars? I don’t think she understands that Dave’s would have considerable expenses and overhead to create the product in the first place, and the wholesale cost to stores is always less than their clearance prices. Stores will destroy products before selling them for less than their overhead* since it makes no sense to sell at a big loss when you can toss it and write the product off as a loss. If the clearance prices is $3, then that means the wholesale was under $3, probably a lot less since clearance prices still usually have enough profit to make it worth at least tying to sell. If the wholesale was a flat $3, just to be generous, then that means the stores paid $600,000 for them. Her $120,000 is 20% of the wholesale. That’s a huge cut. The remaining $420,000 would have gone to production and all the other expenses the company had to get them to the stores in the first place. She probably doesn’t understand that though. A lot of people don’t, and this lady seems like someone who would rather live in denial since she wants to believe what she wants to believe, and ignored people telling her the FDA was FOOD and drug.
As for where all the money went, she probably bought a lot of expensive items, and money can go fast when you don’t pay attention. She probably expected there to be more on an ongoing basis, and so didn’t set any aside, and due to wild spending, she ran out before she realized she was almost at the bottom of her account. This happens a LOT to people who aren’t used to having much money. Look up how often lottery winners end up broke after being handed literally millions. When you’re used to being tightly wound and on a strict budget, suddenly having breathing room can make you go haywire and buy luxury items you don’t need since it’s a major shot of dopamine and ten purchases can easily feel like one purchase, and next thing you know, you’ve spend $10,000. I know, because I’ve done it (though am lucky to be in a position where it didn’t cause my household financial harm, and I still have to remind myself to use restrain).
So she probably doesn’t mean ill here, and probably does feel like, now that the money’s all gone with nothing of substance to show for it, that he got nothing, and is owed more because 200k times $8 is $1.6mil. It’s ignorance, but I think she’d rather live in ignorance than to live in a truth she doesn’t want to see when she had dollar signs in her eyes.
I totally agree w the 200k times $8 equals $1.6mil! I mean, she is the person who said fda has nothing to do w foodstuffs.
Thanks for this post! It makes total sense. Though seems like donating to the go fund me is a waste of money, and she might go into debt for legal fees. If the thing is Dave's has proof they've paid her and she just doesn't understand how the system works. So she's set up to lose the case.
I just still can't feel bad for her ignorance though. I feel like it stems from a deep entitlement to the point where she'll be willfully ignorant if it enables the level of entitlement she wants to have. I don't agree that she "doesn't mean ill" either, she's done very nasty things to deliberately hurt people in the past and now she's trying to slander a company bc she doesn't want to accept reality. That's absolutely someone who means ill but just believed they're entitled to behave that way.
this does seem to boil down to not knowing how royalties work.
though going through 120,000 in 8 months is a personal problem of hers. not the company's.
@@elainelouve It absolutely is a waste to donate to her GFM considering the company offered to pay her fees.
YAY! Your hair looks GREAT! Sending love
omg thank you so much!!!!!
I have been following this saga for wayy too long😭
lmfao same its been such a mess
I feel like it will never end
I’m totally invested in it, all the way over in Australia 🐊🐨🦘
Omg the video of her slamming the sauce down in a temper tantrum tells us everything
Thinking 200,000 sales of a $7 product would mean millions are being heldback from you is wild. That's $1.4m including sales tax, the retailers share, the manufacturers costs, the manufacturers profit and her share - maybe she got a signing bonus or something but almost 10% when all the responsibilities/costs for production, distribution and food safety have been taken out your hands is pretty decent
Ann rearden from how to cook that addressed the safety of the product because of the botulism rumor, basically this lady could have made the sauce without eggs or milk so its a bit (emphasis on a bit) safer than originally thought.
Food theory did a recipe on it too, can't remember how good it was tho
You know its ganna be good when isabella talks about other influencers products besides makeup/Beauty/health shit
So I was curious if my Walmart had the pink sauce so I opened up the app and looked it up. My Walmart sells it for $7.78. Right now it's marked down to $6.98. I saw that it was vegan which surprised me because the original had dairy in it So I swiped on the picture to see the ingredients and I saw a little note that says "actual color may vary slightly from the image shown" and I thought it was kind of funny because the sauce was also criticized for being very inconsistent when it came to the color. I guess it's still an issue where they had to have a disclaimer on the website.
I personally don't care much for food dyes so if a dragon fruit is not super vibrant in a batch it's not going to deter me but I doubt the sauce even tastes good enough to buy it especially after the safety concerns. I know Dave's gourmet probably changed A lot of things but considering the reputation of the sauce, I would never support it
I saw it for sale at Walmart it was $1 each, and the six of them had different shades of pink 😢😢
She also is claiming that she was not paid for expenses related to promoting the pink sauce is giving me “I bought luxury items to flex and I want to be compensated for this marketing expense” vibes …..allegedly.
I’ve never been this early! Hey girlie, you’re great and I love watching/listening whilst doing my daily chores and such. Love the content and hope you continue to thrive 🤍🤍
this makes my heart so happy i am so glad youre here!! ily!
The interview on Karamo's show made me SO mad! It was so obviously in Chef Pi's favor that i think she paid for it lol
I'm guessing she didn't read the contract or is delusion and thinks her sauce sold way more and Dave's Gourmet is hiding it (or both). Considering she tried to make blue sauce happen, she probably thought the pink sauce fad wouldn't fade and people would buy her sauce after the initial curiosity because it was her creation. Just like everyone before her thinking past fads would never go out.
Honestly, I'm baffled that a lot of people ordered it (especially when it was coming out of her home). You'd think people would be serious about the things they put into their mouth like they are with what they put on their faces. Not to mention her attitude and how she didn't care about the health of her customers.
Chef Pii should have had a lawyer when she made the deal with Dave's Gourmet. She should have read the contract herself for clarifications.
I'm not sure if she did any of what I wrote as she now wants an attorney.
I believe people tried to help her before with proper advice and she didn't listen.
She might have been paid a flat fee and no percentage on sales. I don't know what's in her contract.
Daves Gourmet took a chance on Pink Sauce, and I hope it can be resolved peacefully.
In terms of "ploughing through" the money, I have a bit of insight, not into Chef Pii, but from personal experience. In short, I grew up poor, with a parent who was extremely frugal. I took that frugality to the extreme, so when I finally got the highest salary I had ever had (nowhere near $120k, closer to $45k p/a), I suddenly realised I didn't need to be so extreme. And I went a little crazy. Largely because I hadn't learned any financial literacy (my parent is the same way). Fortunately I'm in a much better position and have a better understanding of how finances work.
Yes, I wasn't able to shop for new clothes or anything, so when I got to a situation where I was, shopping kind of got out of hand. Not totally, but anyway, I get how it feels.
Thanks for saying this, I love Isabella's videos but I did find this a bit harsh, this lady was poor and tried to make something of herself, granted she didn't go about things the right way a lot of the time. We don't know her situation and how she spent the money, she might have been in debt ect...
I wonder what the other people in the library thought about her ranting about being screwed over. I'm surprised nobody complained because I used to work in the library and that shit is annoying.
What really disgusted me was her attitude to the tiktoker (I forgot her name) when they were on that talk show, when she grabbed her hand and said ‘You’re not special’ and the host ganged up on her too when she had legit criticisms! Although, that ‘FDA has nothing to do with food’ thing always makes me laugh.
can't believe they are in a mess again. back then I watched Ann Reardon's video on it since she works with food on the daily. Back then it was severely blown up but this is actually unbelievable.
Dave’s gourmet recently updated their statement with receipts and new info… they gave her money for past due rent so she wouldn’t get evicted, and then she posted the video talking smack about them after that. She’s so ungrateful!
She thinks the world owes her everything she wants, that's what her problem is.
I feel bad for her kids, but I do not feel bad for her
same, like she could have used that 120,000 on her kids and their school, and she wouldn't be struggling to afford lunches for them now, in her new nails and wigs. not to mention the plastic surgery.
i hope those kids get the help they need. it must feel like such a betrayal.
You know Pink Sauce has to be bad if all the crash & grabbers at Walmart take everything off the shelves and leave the Pink Sauce behind 😂
😂😂😂😂
She sounds like a scammer or someone high of their own gas and the highly colored food she makes isnt fda because it uses so much food coloring on none baked items. I think she thought that doing something no one else did would get her fame. Unfortunately some times there is a reason people haven’t done it yet.
She is so delirious and out of her mind...Great video!!!
Honestly Dave's gourmet comes out looking pretty great, they gave her terrible sauce a second change at life, they payed her way way more than they were contracted to, and even now are far more lenient than they need to be they offered to get her a lawyer.
Wow! You changed your decor! I didn't see that before, must have missed it.
An update about the pink sauce? hu hu I'm here for it 😏
So basically they've been giving her $10,000 a month as part of her royalty contract and she's broke?
This woman is so stupid that she thinks she is going to walk into court and the judge is going to find in her favor. Does she not know the kind of attorneys that Dave's has working for them? She obviously doesn't understand what a contract is or what it means- you know damn well she looked at the $7.99 price tag and thanks she is entitled to every penny of that on every bottle sold 😂. I wish I could be a fly on the wall in that courtroom.
I'm in Australia, to the best of my knowledge this product isn't for sale here. I just wanted to say it looks revolting, like a tin of paint is being poured on the food items shown. Regardless of what it is, why use so much, and on food that's already pretty strongly flavoured, like pizza of all things?
The new background looks amazing!!!
I'm kind of curious... she claims she didn't get repaid for her personal marketing expenses. Was that covered in the contract? Did she provide receipts for those expenses? Or is she expecting to get a sponsorship type payment for promoting her own product on social media? Because if the contract says the company does all the marketing, and anything she does is on her, she can't ask for that. If they agree to repay her expenses, she needs to have proof of what she paid out for marketing. If she somehow believes that she should be paid for social media promotion of her own product? Well, she does... in royalties when it sells. It costs her nothing to post, so there's no expense to reimburse.
As for not having money to buy her kids water or get them haircuts for school... holy privilege, batman! My kids don't get bottled water because that's out of out price range. You know who cuts their hair? That would be me. I made it work as a single mom on an income that's less than $40k a year. I didn't have a 6 figure salary and a social media following. I just hustled, economized, and saved every penny I could squeeze out. Never once did I use my kids for sympathy because they shouldn't have to suffer. I did the best I could for me and my kids. I worked my butt off. I went without so they could have things. But... seriously... if I had that kind of money coming in, I would be putting aside way more in savings than I currently do, because if I run out of money, that's ultimately on me.
I find it a little sus that on that go fund me, one person donated over $24,000 and the rest is random small amounts. I wouldn't be suprised if the 24k 'donation' was set up by Chef P to try and stir up more drama so people will pay attention to her.
The fact she's asking for 100k is the funniest thing I saw in this video and I saw your sponsor.
NOT the Beyoncé of the sauces! 😂
"Pink sause is not beige sause, pink sause is not multicolored sauce" but sauces from her own profuction were beige and multicolored
literally. In her production, it went from pesto bismol to a terrifying shade of beige
Love the new back round it looks so good. Love your videos.
That woman is just a liar and is a horrible entrepreneur. She didn’t want to listen to any business or product advice which was negligent on her part. She wants to blame everyone else for the failure of the product except for herself. On top of that they gave her money and she blew through all of it instead of investing back into the product or saving money for her kids. She wants people to feel sorry for her and to bail her out due to problems she created herself. They were saying she started buying all these expensive items and got her body done . She didn’t put a payment down on a house or save any money .
I went to my local Wal-Mart and lo & behold I found the shelf stocked with pink sauce one was a darker pink than the other in the row, it was on rollback so I bought one. As far as chef p she wasn't humble and disrespects the customer Dave's was sending her checks on the 16 or 17th of the month the go fund me was started one day Before the check was to arrive. My My!
The company was more than fair with her. They gave her huge advances and then tried to get them to pay for a dress that was hundreds of dollars. She never reinvested the money in her company which is what you do in business
She latched onto Dave's Gourmet and treated them like they owed her everything. They surely regret getting involved with her, because she badmouths them pretty bad.
The nerve of her to beg for money after what she did. Get a freaking job like the rest of us.
14:20 - around this time, she does that because she is highly dysfunctional. My MIL does things like this even to her kids, she blows through money and plays victim. In her case she's a narcissist and I strongly believe she has BPD. It took me so many years to fully understand it, I made so many excuses and it's so easy to fall for their sob stories. Cognitive dissonance.
Ultimate selfishness and refusal to take ANY accountability. That is what this woman is, she has no shame and has no problem lying to get what she wants. It's just what they do, unfortunately. There are a lot of people like this out there, and you just can't make sense of nonsense. Educate yourself on these kinds of people (not all who are in MLMs are victims, for example, or people who get swept up in unethical things) and stay away/don't get sucked in.
She's just acting really entitled; she thinks just because she created a sauce that went viral for a little while that she deserves to make bank off of it (despite the fact that she was failing on her own, was ignorant of food safety and regulations, and had a company come and help her sell a legitimate product in a nationwide chain store). She's the definition of a fraudster with the way she has been acting now. I hope Dave's Gourmet can terminate that contract; she's unhinged.
Dave's Gourmet re-formulated the sauce, which means she now owns it in in name only. So it's going to take that much longer for any big bucks to start rolling in
i love the room lighting omg
Your background looks so cute, I love it!!!
OMG Thank you!!
I just tried this stuff and must say maybe on some veggies if nothing else is around but all in all kinda gross. I bought it at a save a lot which had me sketched out to begin with but then I thought I'll go home watch TH-cam and surely find people raving about this sauce with recipe ideas. but NO I found only warning videos and hate videos of the creator. I went to culinary school and have my sanitation license and do not understand how a sauce not approved by the FDA even ended up so viral or on well know shelves such as Wal-Mart .
I'm baffled how bad mail and food regulations are in the US compared to the EU....
Oh, honey, you have no idea!
The margins for food are so thin. 200,000 bottles is nothing. She’s lucky she got $120,000. Smdh
Watching this now that youve finished your live :)
Girl got 100k and probably started trying to live like the Kardashians 😂💀
one of the "??" was "No more beige sauce"
