Thanks for covering this story! I'm launching food products (legitimately), and the process is intense. Condiments need to be lab tested BEFORE they're available to the public. Also, most cottage food laws do not cover the production of condiments in your home because of bacteria that can potentially kill customers! No one should buy these types of products from someone's home.
Our queen has posted. Also, in addition - Isabella you are perfect no matter how you look. Your beauty is beyond skin deep. Thank you for your constant hard work calling out these scammers.
Next time my daughter asks me what we’re having for dinner, I’m going to answer as Chef Pii has “It has a unique taste, like its own thing. Like you can’t really compare it to anything else. Umm…you can just sorta kinda just say what it tastes like. Uhh…but yeah. It’s very unique. It’s a creative concept.” Usually I tell her what it is, she is surprised it’s good when she tastes it (she’s been eating my cooking for 12 years, why STILL surprised) and I answer with “I ONLY cook good food.” Also there have been a lot of complaints that Chef Pii hasn’t refunded as many as she claimed she has.
Girl I am totally hormonally breaking out too right now! You'd be surprised how many people don't even notice while I feel like the acne is so noticeable on my face! Our face is healing and there's nothing we need to change about ourselves. Thank you for the confidence boost, girly! 💕
It’s weird she’s making it in her kitchen too. Most states have laws that allow people to produce foods of sorts in their kitchen but only up to a certain profit (which I’m pretty sure for a lot of states is 12-24k a year) which IM SURE she’s made more than that since it went viral. I’m hoping she’s using a factory now.
Cottage laws also can't be shipped outside the state and still has other restrictions. She doesn't have the needed requirements to ship outside her home state or even sell it outside the state
After watching chef pii on the talk show and her attitude I would not buy pink sauce even after her partnering with a sauce manufacturer. Another creator said due to the honey content and the lack of care in packaging could cause Botulism that's not right. I am glad the talk show host and chef pii was blasted for what they did to that lady and they took down the video. It was like the host didn't even research anything just too chef pii side just because he could. Whole thing was crazy but I don't think it is quite over yet.
When the host said the customer was endangering the "chef", I was literally like "SHE'S the one endangering people?!" Let me guess, she was also playing the race card when people were calling her out?
If your going to make a sauce, do quality tests like leaving it out for shelf life outside refrigeration. See if it bloats to assumed ship time, outside in heat.
I loveeeed you embracing your acne. I'm 33 and recently for the first time in my life keep having hormonal pimples/mild acne all over my chin. Love to see you living your best life and being a role model for others. Acne and pimples are normal! You look so naturally gorgeous
I'm 38 and I get hormonal acne, I used to be so self conscious about it (still am sometimes) but I try to see it as a normal part of being a woman and having hormonal cycles. If someone else wants to judge my appearance negatively - that's a YOU problem, honey :) You look stunning without makeup and your PSAs really do help me so much - and I'm sure they help lots of other people too. We appreciate you so much!
I find it pretty ironic that the talk show host was telling the girl that reviewed the sauce that she needed to do research. and make sure she had everything correct before she posts a video........ OK following that logic why didn't the pink sauce creator do her research and make sure she had everything 100% on point before she introduced a product to the public Knowing it can and will be reviewed by others.......
Glad you did a video on this, have been watching so much about this. When I saw the 'Black Friday Sale' thing I HAD to hit her website as the bottle even looked different. I can't believe this but Dave's Gourmet still went through and made this properly. I thought for sure they were just going to drop this because of how this woman was acting as it now reflects upon them as the distributor of this.
100% of the responsibility is on the BUSINESS. Will never buy anything made by that woman. Not even for the problems with the product, but for her attitude! Omfg

You are so beautiful inside and out, and I just want to thank you for being so honest and open and real with us. ❤❤❤ I still have to be reminded that it’s OK to not be perfect, and what IS perfect anyway? ✨
Thanks for covering this! I've gotten bits and pieces of the storyline, but I didn't know where to go for the full story. Also, the main thing I couldn't get over was the color. It's obvi not a consistent recipe if the color isn't consistent.
Hi Isabella! I've watched your videos for a while and I've always admired your succinct commentary and your self confidence and sense of style. I just wanted to say how much I appreciated you wearing your skin bare in this video. I have struggled with acne and scaring and I am working on accepting my skin no matter the state it is in and it was so healing to see someone like you, who is so beautiful and confident, wearing her acne unapologetically. It was exactly what I needed to see and hear today, so thank you.
I’m a GenXer and I watch a ton of videos on TH-cam. I’m so glad that young women feel free to wear makeup, not wear makeup, and talk about openly about skin concerns. Which I know is ironic because of the tons of channels about makeup. Anyway, I totally enjoyed this video, although yuck! 💜
I’ve been following this story the whole time and seen like every video on it because it’s just insane. Just everything from the color changes to the glitter to the questionable website and ingredients to the supposed FDA agents at her house to the talk show to the way Chef Pii handles all of the situations is so unbelievable.
I love love LOVE your intro reminding us to be positive about acne. I suffered from hormonal acne for 4 years straight before i went to the dermatologist. One of the things that contributed to my low self esteem was the lack of representation (outside of being marketed products to). It makes me incredibly happy that you are chosing to not cover up your acne bc it makes a huge difference. I've been using tretinoin for the past year and still healing physically and mentally. I appreciate you being so authentic and confident 💖💖💖
Someone selling a food product and doesn’t know what the FDA is…my mom always says, “you can’t just eat anybody’s cooking,” and in the case of Chef Pii she couldn’t be more right
Girl 😭❤️ I'm 28 and my hormonal cystic acne came out in FULL FORCE last year after being semi-tamed for 5-ish years. On top of this, I have acne scars everywhere. I know it's rough. It sucks being in the professional world with acne but you are so correct! This is completely normal and I really appreciate you being your true and beautiful self 🥰
All the drama aside, I cannot respect her as a "chef" knowing she sent out products like that. Clearly she is not well versed in basic food safety, which is understandably the whole foundation of working in the food industry. I worked in the food industry for nearly 5 years as a deli clerk, and even I was trained enough in food safety to know everything about this is wrong and is a public health and safety concern.
Absolutely love that you're so real about the acne and I see you as beautiful, not just a beautiful face. I used to have a lot of acne and felt really vulnerable because yeah, it's how we present to the world. Am proud that you're doing it bare to show everyone that having acne is okay, even though it may be challenging. Much love❤️
girllll love you for being so vulnerable about your acne, I recently went off bc as well and the post pill acne hit me HARD! Also great work on the vid :)))) been loving your non-mlm content as well
The gall of that talk show host saying Ally should feel bad for ~endangering~ Pii when all she did was post a review. Pii was the one throwing her customer's health and safety to the wayside all for a quick buck. She could have seriously hurt or killed someone but she doesn't care in the slightest, what an awful person.
This digusts me so much. I'm really weird about food spoilage and dairy especially. She probably took ranch and watered it down, added food dye and "dragonfruit powder", and thought it would be ok and didn't think of the bacteria buildup. EW. The swollen bottles just straight up gross me out. I think she is a fraud and playing the victim and put a lot of people at a serious health risk. Good lord the things people do these days.
I'm really glad that you are so much more comfortable having no makeup on camera, not that there is anything wrong with getting glammed up. However when you started you r look was super glam and not a single hair was out of place. I like this side of you as well
You are as beautiful outside as you are inside!! Love this and you being courageous and vulnerable!I probably wouldn't have noticed if you didn't mention it. You are a stunner regardless.
That talkshow host seriously needs to re-evaluate his priorities. Supporting small business vs risking people's health and lives should be an easy decision to make.

Everyone on that talk show was 100% biased in prejudiced against her before she even went out on the stage. I would’ve told them goodbye and left because I’m not gonna sit there and be made to look stupid for calling out someone who is making people sick.
That’s wild, haven’t heard of it before. This seems like something out of NY. We have a lot of people making stuff and selling it. None of them ever try to advertise or make it ‘real’ like this. FDA is just one concern, collecting sales tax etc. There are plenty people here making good sauces, mixed drinks, snacks, bbq, etc etc that you know because you know. I’ve seen a few try to go legit and get stomped for one reason or another..
Thanks for your personal talk before starting the video 😘😘 Thanks for talking about this! It's thanks to commentary channels like yours that I can keep up with all the bulsh*t of scammers 😂😂

How on earth did this woman own a restaurant and not know what the FDA was?
Thank you for normalizing acne!!! Dealing with a breakout and it killed my self esteem. Thanks for talking about this.
Our queen has posted. Also, in addition - Isabella you are perfect no matter how you look. Your beauty is beyond skin deep. Thank you for your constant hard work calling out these scammers.
omg ily thank you so much!!! Very true its beyond skin deep for all of us. Sometimes we need those reminders lol thank youuuuu
Same, we’re here for the content and your humor. Come as you are ❤
@@IsabellaLanter you are amazing, love! Yes, we all need a reminder every now and again. 💕
It’s a creative concept.”
Usually I tell her what it is, she is surprised it’s good when she tastes it (she’s been eating my cooking for 12 years, why STILL surprised) and I answer with “I ONLY cook good food.”
Also there have been a lot of complaints that Chef Pii hasn’t refunded as many as she claimed she has.
Girl I am totally hormonally breaking out too right now! You'd be surprised how many people don't even notice while I feel like the acne is so noticeable on my face! Our face is healing and there's nothing we need to change about ourselves. Thank you for the confidence boost, girly! 💕
Omg I loveeee how you worded this thank you so much for commenting! You’re absolutely right! Our bodies are just doing there thing and that’s ok 🥰
@@zogwort1522 Isabella and I are bonding over our horomal acne. It's okay if you don't understand. 👍
I have read she’s partnered with a company that is manufacturing things properly.
@@IsabellaLanteroh good. Hopefully she can get it all together and it can turn out a success for her.
Cottage laws also can't be shipped outside the state and still has other restrictions. She doesn't have the needed requirements to ship outside her home state or even sell it outside the state
@@ayajade6683 yes! Thank you. I totally forgot what it was called.
Cottage laws also only cover shelf stable items. Items like granolas and baked goods.
Her misunderstanding what "FDA" approval is actually for is HILARIOUS to me.
The talk show potion was BAFFLING!!
THAT TALK SHOW JUST PISSED ME OFF!!!! THE GASLIGHTING AND MANIPULATION AND BLAME BEING PUT ON THE INFLUENCER!!!!
I'm with you on the consistency of the sauce. Seeing the super runny ones are just giving me the ick. No thanks. Hard pass.
And people pouring huge amounts over their food while sitting in the car...ewwwwwww
I'm 38 and I get hormonal acne, I used to be so self conscious about it (still am sometimes) but I try to see it as a normal part of being a woman and having hormonal cycles. If someone else wants to judge my appearance negatively - that's a YOU problem, honey :)
You look stunning without makeup and your PSAs really do help me so much - and I'm sure they help lots of other people too.
Glass bottle so it doesn't bloat? Still gonna be 🤮
I'm sorry, the talk show portion is crazy, what about the endangerment of people ingesting an unsafe product unknowingly? That's terrifying.
100% of the responsibility is on the BUSINESS. Will never buy anything made by that woman. Not even for the problems with the product, but for her attitude! Omfg
What does she think the F in FDA stands for?
LMFAOOOO THIS MADE ME LAUGH
Maybe Federal? Because FTC is Federal. But no FDA is Food and Drug Agency/association... That's an oof for chef pi
Right?
Food and Drug Administration.
I love love love love you and your openness and honesty with us. I feel like I’m listening to my best friend 🤩The personal moment in the first 2 minutes of this video had me crying. I’m 44 yrs old and STILL suffer from hormonal acne, and have dealt with the insecurities that go along with that since I was a teenager.
Someone selling a food product and doesn’t know what the FDA is…my mom always says, “you can’t just eat anybody’s cooking,” and in the case of Chef Pii she couldn’t be more right
What is more disgusting is that a company is going to and did a restart and selling her crap
The stuff with the TV show PISSED ME OFF SO BAD!!! Still makes me blood boil to this day.
great details of this Pink sauce scam!! I can't believe people are still buying it.
She's so salty AF and defensive AF. During that talk show. Not to cut you off, but to cut you off. She's not a chef or professional.
Just recently found your channel and been binge watching old episodes of drama.
The veneer techs segments have me l!! lol
So excited for your new upload! Listening while I put my laundry away
Thankyou for showing that acne is ok. As someone who still suffers with it, it’s refreshing to see. 💙💜
Ngl i wasnt expecting it but the little acne talk made me tear up a bit. Ive had bad acne all my life so it was a good little surprise, thank you :')
I’ve seen way too many videos on this topic but your videos are always good no matter how repetitive information can be to me
And I love that
Love that you had a cute little pink manicure for this video too! 💅🏻
I'm disappointed in Karamo, the show host for not researching more. I love him on Queer Eye.
I dont know how long ago it was, but I saw Pink Sauce on the shelves at Walmart(?). Hopefully its now shelf stable and safe 😬 I've been living under a rock, so thank you for catching me up and keeping me safe from potential scams.
❤ acne is part of life so I totally know how you feel. I’ve spent years hiding mine, it oddly got worse in my late twenties and as a teen i thought i was supposed to get great perfect adult skin someday lol I love seeing you step into your confidence now! Don’t waste your time hiding it’s not worth it!
I'm so excited for your take on the whole pink sauce situation. Personally I never wanted to try it because the color looked really gross to me. It looked like Pepto bismol. I was super cool on it.
You did amazing with this case!! I haven’t thought about this drama in months and I’m being taken back from when it was all unfolding 😂 Also, you’re beautiful regardless and as a fellow acne struggler I get it and we all need to be reminded that sometimes ❤ love u
WOW! That interview was crazy!
Honestly you're so stunning! I really didn't notice but glad you're okay!
Silly girl, you always look stunning! Nothing could ever dull your sparkle. 🥰❤️
We see you for YOU Iz! You’re such a beautiful soul, and don’t ever doubt how gorgeous you are!!
marketing a product as "edible and natural" is not very encouraging haha
but she's right that she doesn't need FDA approval to sell a sauce
If they have to say it is edible, RUN AWAY
21:59 what are they even clapping over??? What did she say that was applause worthy?
That talk show was ridiculous 💀 no wonder I’ve never heard of it
so glad you recorded and didn't filter -- you look and sound great, keep going on your journey!
Omg I’m so glad you covered this. Someone said pink sauce in a group and it was a TT trend. And told me DONT LOOK IT UP it will make you sick. It’s beyond foul…
I literally thought it meant V-Jay Jay sauce or putting sauce there. Lmfaooo. So I didn’t google it 🤣🤦🏽♀️
Everyone on that talk show was 100% biased in prejudiced against her before she even went out on the stage. I would’ve told them goodbye and left because I’m not gonna sit there and be made to look stupid for calling out someone who is making people sick.
You are so beautiful Bella, inside and out. Thanks for being so real 💖✨
This Pi's eyes scares me haha the way she looked at the girl customer was so freaking creepy!!
Thanks for your personal talk before starting the video 😘😘
Thanks for talking about this! It's thanks to commentary channels like yours that I can keep up with all the bulsh*t of scammers 😂😂
Lmao what?! Why would Ally reach out to her?!?! That literally makes no sense. That is incredibly irresponsible on the talk show hosts part, to essentially BLAME a person for REVIEWING a problematic product that could harm consumers! So so so gross what the actual hell.
That talk show is complete horse$hit. OMG. I cannot believe these people. I work in medical malpractice, not product liability, but it's very similar. If I were this "chef," I'd lawyer up. The way she went about this entire thing is so dangerous. That talk show host needs to lose his show. There was definitely bias involved in that show.
It is fucking WILD she expects her customers to explain how to run HER business TO HER. Like ma'am ITS YOUR COMPANY AND YOUR PRODUCT.
Girl I came to work without makeup! Love that you’re bringing that self-love and keeping things real! ✨🫶
I have been waiting for someone bigger to talk about this!!
I grew up with acne problems. Like your good spirit!
22:24 Just because Chef Pii relies on income from selling her sketchy and dangerous product doesn't mean she has the right to continue peddling it. Customers have the right to know the truth. Chef Pii can start selling a different, legitimate, non-dangerous product or find another line of work entirely.
"But my income comes from stealing cars, you can't call me out and jeopardize my livelihood!"
I have been subscriber for awhile and this video popped up, you are so pretty and beautiful and I'm proud of you for posting with something you are insecure about it is so appreciated. Love you channel very much😍❤️🩹
Loved this video!! You should look into the whole Caroline Calloway scam, I haven’t seen anyone cover the full story
Thank you for your PSA today. I needed that I rescheduled my sons teacher conference today because I cant remember the last time i broke out this bad around that time of the month. Now to hear about this pink sauce.. what in the pepto is this?!
Lol I could see me buying the pink sauce from a supermarket and tasting it and thinking it's not that great, and then a her voice will come into my head saying you're not that special.
So I am not going to risk my $10 to feel not so special.🥺😉
The variance in shade of pink is v concerning
So she is a chef, owns a restaurant and doesn’t know about the FDA or any type of regulations????? I call BS!
Wrinkles are beautiful too!
Absolutely they are!! I've been trying to remind my mom of that recently. We were just talking about that
Good bc I have plenty lol 😆
Normalize acne! Yesss love to see it! The skin is an organ! Let it do it's thing!
