    I admit it I once was an atheist (I’m an adopted S. Korean into a Lutheran family). I fell into the TH-cam rabbit hole and watched Dave Rubin Interview Ben Shapiro, story there is I was a Leftist at the time and I decided to listen to the other side for once and listen to their view point. I went from woke to awake and started listening to all of the Daily Wire podcasters. All of them but mainly Klavan, Knowles and Walsh have gotten me to be back in touch with god.

    Catholic teaching officially "An indulgence is a remission before God of the temporal punishment due to sins whose guilt has already been forgiven" Historically in the early church the temporal punishment could have been exclusion from the community for years. An indulgence would reduce the length of this

    One reason Protestants may see Roman Catholicism as a religion of works is faith+ works being necessary for salvation. Sola fide was foundational to the Reformation.

    • @sashenkadumerve3017
      @sashenkadumerve3017 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes as I Protestant, I can understand where the Bible says Faith with our works is dead. That was my main thing until I realized (a Catholic College Student explained it) that they belive that works are essential to faith. I have to look into the ROC more

    ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
    God the Father had His only begotten son sent to the world to atone for the sins of mankind. But with the arrogance of the faithful the dint of piety diminished.
    The supremacy of the Holy Sacraments, Holy Eucharist and devotion to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit diminished with surplus and excess demands by the faithful to popularize prayers in the vernacular. These demands - more than increasing the glory of God - largely took down the scale of piety among people to a show of arrogance and ostentatiousness. Close on the heels of these changes and transformations came about a craving to segregate not on account of pride to assert a separatist stand than to scale heights of fervour and devotion. But it did not work since Jesus Christ got lost among the din and pandemonium of Christian demands itself. As a result the Church lost its uniqueness among other religions of the world and as a result God and His Omnipotence had to take a beating with everyone hankering to exhibit their own uniqueness or superiority over others whereas the centre of attraction remained the same namely Jesus Christ the Saviour and Redeemer of the world.
    Church of Jesus Christ has no equivalents anywhere around the world and if at all any equivalent exists in any related concept it is mostly in the separatist and segregative tendencies nursed by the faithful who are averse to moving in one direction, in following common standards and in adopting unilateral policies. It is particularly in this one aspect that the Universal Church of Jesus Christ lost track of its universality making the world itself cut a sorry figure as regards the followers of Jesus Christ who followed the same God, the same Redeemer, the same Holy Scripture and feigned the same fervour but all that in diverse manner owing to which the world could only look on in amazement at Christians lacking in that preciousness of love as taught by Jesus Christ. In short we lacked in the basics of Christianity "Love of God and Love of our neighbour". But -
    The original solemnity of the Roman Catholic Church with the Mass and hymns as also prayers and recitations in Latin did carry a dint of celestial and angelic spirituality which did have a uniqueness of the true death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
    Yet today after 2000 years of the birth of Jesus Christ our Saviour and Redeemer we the Roman Catholics are secure in as far as more than 200 of its holy and venerated saints have their bodies intact and displayed in Rome and in many churches around the world. Will this suffice for the purity, sanctity and the piousness of the Roman Catholic Church shedding it's rays of spirituality around the world? So even the orthodox Christians in Russia arrogantly excluded Roman Catholics from entering Russia the natural catastrophy that Russia is facing today and many more perils due to overtake Russia will tell if the fervour among the orthodox Christians in Russia can tide away the catastrophies due to overtake Russia.
    And the end game is still to begin viz will these separatists defy the one final judgement of God on the last day of this end times to refute that had they remained united with the Roman Catholic Church there would not have been any need to glorify God on earth or in heaven. Pause.

    Jesus said my mother my brothers and my sister are those who do what father in Heaven asks them to do ...
    Mary is not the mother of God ..
    She is the mother of Jesus ( God in the flesh ) but not God the father !!
    Plus the Bible is clear that we do not speak the the dead ... !!
    That’s why king Saul got in trouble for talking to Samuel when he was dead !!!

    How can cysts claim their God is loving if it would burn it's Creations
    eternity for not worship it properly or not believing at all when it is done nothing to assert its existence or rules other than oral Legends passed down in a completely erratic collection of fables including talking donkey snakes and all kind of other bizarre happenings if this God loved us and didn't want to burn us in the hell that it created you would think it would make more of an effort to show us that it was real and that there would be consequences real consequences for disobedience even if you consider the Bible and trees good proof of your God that's highly irrational Behavior and a loving God who would punish you so cruelly should really go out of its way to make sure you know the rules again the Bible in which Grandma tells you or not viable
