I picked-up four (4) Ajmal fragrances in the Spring of 2016 and found them to be really cheap quality interpretations packaged in ultra cheap bottles - 2 of the atomizers leaked or were broken. For inexpensive good-quality clones I'll stick with Armaf; for excellent quality/interesting East-meets-West fusions I'll stick with Rasasi; Ajmal is on my Do-Not-Buy list. Besides, Dior Sauvage is a masterpiece when it comes to departments store cologne (everyone but the hypocritical perfume snobs like or love it) so no clones wanted or needed. Regardless, I do enjoy a good expensive clone...but Ajmal has pissed in my bowl of Wheaties and failed to deliver too many times in the past. Cheers! BTW, I loved Rasasi Hawas....it has been one of my most complimented scents of all time.
Went to an Ajmal store this morning and asked them about Luminescence. The salesman says it is ONLY available in Dubai Airport Duty Free. So I tried Zeal and Kuro on my skin and Kuro was very close to the Sauvage. Must try the Luminescence when I travel soon. Sauvage was just a little too harsh for me. Oh and by the way Nikhil.... Zeal is an Ajmal fragrance. It's supposed to be a Sauvage clone. It's in a rectangular red and clear bottle. I've heard good things about it, but was just curious if it's better than Luminescence?
Love this video. Btw I found Ajmal Utopia to be a close dupe for CK Escape. They do a lot of these dupes and a great job with those as well. Btw I got Misc Rijali and on me it smells like clarysage oil, which I love, get only slight whiffs of white musk in it. Also you should do a video on all their attars as well. I think as a company they need a stronger presence in India and a better PR.
Exotic Scents so true, the thing is I often visit their stores one in bandra and mohd Ali road to buy things and though the staff is really nice, offering water and dates to customers, they are generally not very forthcoming about their products. They just show me the typical Western style fragrances and when I ask for ouds or other ittars they generally say things like it's for arabs. I am not yet into appreciating the skanky ouds but I am sure there are beginner's ouds and Oud blends that don't cost a bomb, it's just that they won't show those to me. When buying perfumes and ittars I personally feel a lot depends on the sales staff. Though to be honest I also buy stupid things because someone was really courteous and buy what I want inspite of someone who could not be bothered. I think fragrance cos more than others should really listen to its customers.

Buddy zeal has a ton of ambroxan. It really does. Its the closest Ive smelled. A buddy of mine overseas sent APO a tiny sample of this stuff and its great too, but slightly different. I think zeal is straight Sauvage and best for budget. All the best, hope that helps.
TH-camJJ thanks for replying, i got ventana last week. Having owned sauvage before, i personally feel that it is lacking the ambroxan note. Was wondering if maybe ajmal has got that down. Looks like i will be layering these 2 frags and see how the smell goes 😅
Nikhil Dior Sauvage doesnt last all that long on my skin, im talking less than 3 hours, is this likely to last longer? I love Sauvage but just wished it lasted and projected off my skin more, great video as always 👍

Sauvage virtually always gave me a headache. I don't know if it's the potency or the ingredients. There are some frags that do this to me but it was just too much so I never got on with it. I did buy it for a few friends as a present for birthdays and they love it. Not sure what my issue with it was.

Vetiver is suitable for all seasons Shoeb. It depends on the type of vetiver you choose to wear. So for winter or cool weather you woulod need to wear something that is woodier and spicier Vetiver like Laliq Encre Noire Al Extreme, for summer you would like Grey Vetiver by Tom Ford or Woody by Rasasi.
Depends of the vetiver. I use Lalique's Encre Noir or L'extreme (almost Oud note) & Tom Ford Grey Vetiver in fall & vinter. I would use Guerlain's in spring & summer..
