  • Our continued journey from Port Dalhousie Canada to Sodus Bay New York.
With 2 fail lake crossing attempts, a squall, small craft warning and thunderstorm. We explore beautiful Port Dalhousie and Sodus Bay on bike and foot before we continue sailing towards the Erie Canal.

What a lovely surprise to see your message. I think of you often and can’t believe now I am the one on a boat. Eric got so excited when we saw our first military ship. ❤

When in NOTL you should have hung out in the clubhouse to watch the storm . Neat historic building with wooden nails and a fantastic view . Was the warehouse when that was a commercial port now the clubhouse .

Wow another great one. Glad you went back to shore during the squall. Anna you sure have lots of clothes, it helps me to know the change of days. lol. You give us an 18 minute video and it takes me 45 minutes to watch it, because I have to keep track of where you are on my map. . Thanks so much for writing the names of the Ports you go into. I'm having so much fun watching your trip. Love it.

I am so glad you are enjoying following along. Luckily my clothes are very small so they don’t take up much space. I would have gotten rid of more but I figured it would be good to have lots of options since I am on camera every single day. We will include maps on our videos in the future. It makes me so happy to get your messages. I get to see Dylan on Friday. He just got back from Ecuador. ❤

90 k is about 55 knots . Nice to see you in my stomping grounds , if you liked Dalhousie you should have taken a moment to walk around NOTL ( you were at my home club) and maybe done a wine tour . The town is very historic and well restored and there are world class wineries all round , and micro breweries and even a distillery . You can even rent an E bike and ride up to Niagara Falls on a paved trail through a park that runs the whole length .
