Can we use heavy cream instead of milk? If so, how much would you say? Same amount as you did w/milk? Thanks for the quick easy video and tips. Can't wait to try this today. 🌼⚘🌼⚘ OH yea, would a small box of vanilla pudding be too much to add to your recipe?
Hey there! You could use heavy cream, however it is suggested to dilute it with water if using in place of milk. You could do 1/2 cup of heavy cream + a 1/2 cup of water to = the cup of milk listed in the recipe. You could add a small box or some of a small box of vanilla pudding to the recipe, however it may make the cake a bit more dense. Let us know how it turns out for you if you try it! 🥰
Soooo I have questions, if you want it fluffy do u add an extra egg even if the box says 3 eggs or just the whites of them??? Im making the butter gold one of Duncan hines but I want if fluffy or at least higher, if that makes sense, Ingredients: 3/4 of water 3 large eggs 7 tbsp of butter
Here are the hack suggestions we list for this - "Instead of using water, use milk. Instead of using 3 eggs like the box calls for, use 5 eggs. Instead of using vegetable oil, use melted butter and double the oil amount suggested from the box." Find the full details over here: hip2save.com/recipes/box-cake-mix-hacks/ Hope that helps!
