amazing tutorial....I've been watching other tutorials can't seem to figure this out......by watching this video I got a pretty good idea about vector portraits...THANK YOU
Looool that's amazing bc when she's doing the eyes and turns the photo back on with just them it's kinda creepy and you think "there's no way this is gonna turn out good". And then. It turns out. INCREDIBLE!!!!
Have been learning Adobe Illustrator in my class, and let me tell you. It takes a lot of practice and experience to do everything she does so quickly. I hope I get to be this skilled some day🙌
This was a perfect intro to the pen tool. I am a newbie to Illustrator, only been doing it for 7 months now. It's challenging, but with the help of your video, I think I am going to rock a Janis Joplin portrait. Thanks so much!
Thank you, thank you and thank you. This video Is clear and easy to understand. The other tutorials I have found are either being played at an inane speed with an inane and irritating soundtrack (no commentary) in the background or are just difficult to follow due to the poor language. Are they there to teach or there to be 'seen' teaching? Rant over. Thanks again :-).
can i ask you a question ? how do you use paint brush and arrange it behind the any layer so quickly ? is there any short cut to overlay ? i mean arrange it backward ?
This was amazingggg!!!!!!! I recently installed illustrator, and gosh, your channel and your ways of teaching; they're so so good!! Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much, I’m learning tNice tutorials in quarantine and you made it very simple I really appreciate it, thank you for going over every little
I loved this tutorial. Definitely going to watch it a few times. It wasn't too slow like I had to fast forward. But some bits were too fast to follow. Thank you so much for this tutorial!
I know this was posted a year ago but pls do more of these videos! this is something I want to try creating myself in illustrator and this is the best demonstration I've found yet! xx
If for example you got a photo off google (any photo) and illustrated exactly over it with the pentool, and then you decided to sell it, would this be copyright ?
Maybe. Usually, when people do this is just for practicing, and in many cases to upload it to their social media, not for commercial use. I suggest you to pay the author of the photo and try to have a official document that say you're authorized to use it. Also, you can use a free photo stock like Pixabay, Pexels, Unsplash, etc. However, I think your art as to be very famous to claim you. But don't do it. Be careful! 🤪 Regards from Dominican Republic! 🇩🇴
Thank you for tNice tutorials! I've been trying to figure the software out on my own for a wNice tutorialle, and it's horribly confusing. TNice tutorials is the only guide video
If you go into document setup you mean be able to. When you set your file before you start illustrating make sure to choose your color settings. The CYMK color setting is best for printing.

This was a great way to show how to use highlights and shadows. I'm a student and right now this is my biggest obstacle

Simply great👍

How did you interchange the eyelash layer get infront of eye? pls
Great tutorial video~
are you using a graphic tablet on this video or just purely computer mouse?
she is probably using a mouse.
you don't need a tablet for this type of art.
please do more, doing my own illustration based on this vid. Thanks
Did you draw using a mouse ?
How long does this take you in real time? X
Hi! Did you export this in RGB or CMYK? Thanks a lot!
If you go into document setup you mean be able to. When you set your file before you start illustrating make sure to choose your color settings. The CYMK color setting is best for printing.
Please make more videos!!!
Great
Is iPad necessary for such illustrations?
No. You need Adobe Illustrator, a computer with a mouse and art 🤪
can u teach me how to draw an eye ? i still cannot make it even i watched your view many times?
