I remember when my locksmith cut the keys for that Wilka, it is his personal private profile that our fire department and I believe also the police station uses here (not sure about the police station though but I know the FD guys have it) While cutting the keys he was laughing an evil laugh all the time. Got me a bit scared! :D
Here at home we have the main door lock with the same ISEO in that padlock Is indeed a good lock, but we put it on a door frame that can be opened with a good kick ahah
Wow, somehow i missed this video.. I wish i had some of those locks to add to my collection.. Or all of them! Sadly they cost a fortune to buy and i forgot to ask one for christmas. Good luck bill i hope to see a video of some of these picked in time
You can theoretically get feel on disc detainers, but it takes forever, for you have to get lucky enough to align false or true notches along the block bar. Once that's done, keep moving discs until you get more notches until the lock unlocks, in which case, all the notches are deep and true. It's a long process, but it can theoretically work, and I'm going to try it once I get the disk rotating tool and a disc detainer lock, specifically the Abloy PL350... well, there are the side pins, so that adds possibly hours and hours of work...
I'm buying some. Thanks for the video. This gives me a whole new set of locks to pick. My 12 yr old also picks locks and he wants to try the dual key locks.
I have an Abloy 341, it says "The Enforcer" on it, and my key looks nothing like yours. It's like a half circle shape and looks similar to the keys on the small Abloy you showed last.
That was Amazing bosnianbill Bill Thank you so much for doing such a great video on them all. Can you do a video on the Hi-Shear LK1200 sometime even if it's not a Picking Video? I would love to see it because I have 2 of them and they are such lovely locks and I can imagine you would present the Lock really well. N.
LK1200- the "nuclear lock", as it was designed to be used to secure nuclear warheads, and Hi-Shear's only lock product. Only made one year; don't ask me why.
One Of these days Bill, you will be sitting there and BANG! ZOOM! the stars will align for you and you will pick through that Naughty bucket in short work.
Bumping works along the same principals as kinetic rakes. It's just a little faster since you don't have to reinsert your tool after every attempt. So you can make a lock bump resistant the same way you make a lock rake resistant. In theory any pin tumbler can be raked. In practice your odds or raking a lock with security pins or even standard pins with crazy bitting and/or tight tolerances are astronomical.
There are LOTS of videos showing how to open EASY locks, like Master, Brinks, Kwikset, etc. You will find far fewer making videos of BiLock, Medeco, Assa Combi, Ruko D12, etc. That is because those locks are damn near impossible to pick, and when you DO manage to pick them open, it takes an extraordinary amount of time and skill. You don't just "pop" them open. It takes a lot of manipulation, skill and yes, luck.
That definitely makes sense; picking a lock that requires an hour would be pointless as a video. One thought is also, some might not record videos of them doing it, but instead post photos of it being picked and describing the method in detail they used to do so, such as on forums.
bosnianbill have you ever done an ingersoll 10 lever rim cylinder or padlock? They aren't impossible but will probably break some stuff before you get it open.
love your intros ...this one was sweet ...do you do yourself or you outsource to another company that does after effects and such ...im pretty knowledgeable and most intros are pretty easy for any graduate in the field ...but either way, I enjoy videos with changing intros ...keeps things fresh and current (at the time of upload) ...but I tip my hat towards you for keeping production value pretty high for the context, but not too over done where you appear pompous ...I hope I was clear on that statement but Either way ...you have a subscriber from me for life ! Thanks for your vast knowledge and level headed approach. I have always loved picking locks since I was a kid ...i even picked a lock once with liquid nitrogen !!! a technique that does not rely on how many pins / side pins / laser engravings !!! ....pretty brut and sloppy but hell of a lot of fun with science !!! ...I have even experimented with thermite ! ...yea that will def melt through most metals ....just make sure that the "drip" stays as horizontal as possible ...otherwise you might just drip right on your foot !!! hahah good times ...its been years since I picked but by seeing your videos and seeing what is out there nowadays ...I am in awe and kinda refueled my love of the sport. Thanks again for your wonderful video ...hope you good fortunes in the future pal.
I may be in the minority, but I don't believe in "unpickable". Ludicrously difficult to pick, sure. Absolutely impossible to pick? Nah. Given enough time, enough skill, and enough creativity I'm convinced any lock can be beat. Maybe (probably) not be me. Maybe even not by Bosnianbill or Kokomolock or any other current TH-cam picker, but sooner or later someone somewhere will figure them all out.
There are certainly unpickable locks, in fact there are some that are specifically designed to destroy lock picks or sequence locks that you can not pick the damn things open if you dont have the proper sequence.
+Kris Sisk actually when your in a hurry destroying some hardened locking systems is actually quite a challenge. At least without having to bring out the torch or the grinder. Not everyone has time to pick a lock to get in a door...
In Finland, we have those kind of abloy disc detainers on our doors! And Abloy is a Finnish company.
"Spent it on liquor and women. Then I wasted the rest"

10.09 we almost get a glimpse of what Bill looks like :)
It would be nice to see an up to date version of the naughty bucket.
When people come in and ask "Which lock do you suggest", this is the video to refer them to. Medeco, Abus etc.
"Then I wasted the rest" LOL great line
lol "i broke the hinges off and stole the money and spent it on liquor and women"
He wasted the rest though
Here at home we have the main door lock with the same ISEO in that padlock
Is indeed a good lock, but we put it on a door frame that can be opened with a good kick ahah
I'ts amazing how secure those locks are!
Wow, somehow i missed this video..

I'm danish and I bought my first kit a few days ago - the ruko lock with an annoying keyway is the exact one I have- I need some new ones lol

I love his sense of humor, it's funny yet Suttle
MrTONYTHEDRAGON Subtle
Lol I have the evil abus bilock except it's all brass instead of nickle plated
Have you seen an Abloy PL362 and what has been done to it on camera? That is one amazing lock.
I can't even imagine ATTEMPTING to pick most of those!

If any time all Padlocks fly away, I know where the "Blackpadlock-Hole" has established.
Nice Video!
I love the naughty bucket videos. I can't wait for a new one someday!
That huge military one looks outstanding. Thinking of the Abloys, dont think I have seen any videos of them being picked
Those locks look super crazy!!!
They just installed a Ruko down in the basement. I am kind of tempted to borrow it to try and pick it :P
One does not simply pick an Abloy lock. :)
The LK1200 was the only padlock Hi-Shear ever made, and it was used to secure containers used to carry nuclear warheads!
So Bill have to had a dosimeter check before playing with it :) Some of the toys might be RAD loaded.
I'm buying some. Thanks for the video. This gives me a whole new set of locks to pick. My 12 yr old also picks locks and he wants to try the dual key locks.
Love your videos, they bring out the Oxter in life
for picking tool google "abloy tiirikka" and look pictures. it's finnish and means picktool.
Hey Bill. Have you tried your new dimple rake on that Kaba padlock yet? Hahaha. Saw your other vid on opening a Kaba with it. Worth a shot:D
How similar is the Abus (plus) 89/50 in this video to an Abus (plus) 88/50? If they are different... are their security features comparable?
Hey Bill, any naughty bucket updates. would love to see what your working on now.
Which of these padlocks would you recommend against bolt cutters?
I have an Abloy 341, it says "The Enforcer" on it, and my key looks nothing like yours. It's like a half circle shape and looks similar to the keys on the small Abloy you showed last.
I'd like to get a couple of the side bar locks. The very last one you talked about. Can you give me the name of that lock? Thanks

do you want to spp that primus or have you considered hacking the finger pins?
One Of these days Bill, you will be sitting there and BANG! ZOOM! the stars will align for you and you will pick through that Naughty bucket in short work.
I really want to try the ruko they've always interested me
This may be a stupid question but shouldn't bumping work on most pin tumblers?
Bumping works along the same principals as kinetic rakes. It's just a little faster since you don't have to reinsert your tool after every attempt. So you can make a lock bump resistant the same way you make a lock rake resistant. In theory any pin tumbler can be raked. Lol would you recommend using these locks to lock something?
Very cool. Love me some Sargent Kesos.
@2:38 "I judge the difficulty of a lock by how many people have made videos of them." What is the rationale behind this statement?
There are LOTS of videos showing how to open EASY locks, like Master, Brinks, Kwikset, etc. You will find far fewer making videos of BiLock, Medeco, Assa Combi, Ruko D12, etc. That is because those locks are damn near impossible to pick, and when you DO manage to pick them open, it takes an extraordinary amount of time and skill. The luck vs lock in this video is confusing! But great video bosnianbill!
Yay abloys from Finland my moms work place
Anyone know if anyone has been able to pick those abloys yet?
someone needs to send him a Oxford hardcore xl. that is also a insurance lock like the disc one shown.
Nice...hell for lock pickers.

Someone should make a cross lock bi lock combo!
Oh Bill, you are a myth, your video are the best!
You can make the best of locks that you wish, but it's impossible to make something that can't be destroyed in some way shape or form
Jackass Gaming Make it from Unobtanium
Bill Croft gave those locks to you? Do you have to give them back?
any success in 2016?
"laser cut"? looks end milled to me...

They have, it's called the angle grinder and the cutting torch... Pretty much can remove any unpickable lock 😉

ooh uhh !
i've heard that baby abloy can be opened with right kind of tool, but fasterway is to brake it.
If you pick them all on camera, I'm sure everyone will pitch in donations for all the liquor and other non disclosed fantasy's you can handle! haha 👍😁
I dont have much to trade for Rukos but if you ever want sell any let me know.
No one got the W.C. Fields reference?
was he serious when he said he spent the money on liquor and women?
Of course he was serious
Benjamin Jebb Well then, why didn't he invite me?
Benjamin Jebb what else do you spend out for
Ha hopefully. But that line is from No country for old men
Master is the best padlock manufacturer ever! Bill is just full of BS about Master!
