After reading your materials I decided to buy the vivo x100 pro a few months ago, I don't regret it, it's a brilliant phone, the photo capabilities and battery are perfect for me, I was even thinking about changing to the vivo x100 ultra but it seems to me that it's worse and has a worse battery because of Snapdragon. Thanks and best regards. Pozdrowienia z Polski!
@@dorianed72I've noticed my friend's X100 Ultra drained a lot of its battery while using the camera. Have you experienced this? I have no problem with extreme battery drain while using my X100 Pro.
Thank you very much for your work, don't stop. Regarding the phone, the biggest negative for me is that it cannot switch between cameras while recording 4k video.
@@lltechview Indeed, I purchased the leading version and they have fixed that issue, but sadly they have now added a huge degree of sharpening to the video processing that seems to not have been present on the original version that completely changes the very natural look of the original Z60 for a more processed look. I'm very disappointed about that, but I wanted to try the leading version because I heard the vanilla version does not support widevine l1 for Netflix or other streaming platforms. I installed gcam and that does make the video recording look much better, but I may return it anyway and stick with my Xperia 1 VI. I will say the new AI they are using for this versions UD selfie cam is much better then what I've seen on the older model.
Can you verify if Netflix or Amazon Prime video plays in full HD? GSM Arena says it doesn't on their review and I asked a couple of owners on the threads who own one before making the decision to get the Leading Version. GSM Arena says even though it technically has widevine L1 certification, it doesn't show in the popular streaming apps any support. Otherwise I would've bought the cheaper original Z60 Ultra.
@@lltechview Not according to GSMArena's review and two owners of the phone I asked before potentially buying a used one. They state that yes, it's technically widevine L1, but isn't recognized by some major DRM protected video platforms. Let me know if you can play Netflix in Full HD
The Z60 Ultra has been nothing but great for me, coming from a Samsung S22 Ultra. I love the wuality in the cameras and how smooth yhe softwae is. Its a little heavy for a phone but the battery life and camera quality is more than good enough to deal with it.

@@tetsuoyt6286 I have a bit of longer battery life with the Z60 Ultra, it still gets warm while charging but if it's just using a 25 or 30 watt charger, it'll charge fine no issues. Battery is pretty good for the most part, I'm able to use it for a bit longer than the S22 Ultra without having to scramble for a charger. I'd say an hour or two longer, and that's with a smartwatch connected 24/7.

I think it should be a rule that every TH-cam phone reviewer leaves a link to their wallpaper in the video. Soooo frustrating! Anyone know where to get it?
The camera switching during video zoom is supported on the Chinese ROM, which packs a whole lot of features than the stripped down almost pure stock Google global ROM.
@@firasalatiyat866 Then I wonder what is keeping them from releasing an update adding the video zoom option to the global rom. Apparently they did it for the new leading version
@@lltechview I haven't savoured the Leading Version yet, but I'm guessing they had the all-or-nothing mentality for their approach. The visual features and the overall UX is rather fancy and smooth, LL, which certainly took them time to develop on the Chinese platform (happy yo share some screenshots or video snippets to show the same). So maybe they were thinking it is either we go full-on with global version or we hold back until we're ready. Also happy to offer guidance on how to convert from Global to Chinese. By the way, Android Auto and Google Play are also supported on the Chinese ROM.
