Gosh - what happy memories of the 90’s this cover brings back. Collective Soul was one of my favourite bands - saw them live a couple times I believe. But boy oh boy does Dolly do everything that little bit better! So beautiful and I love the bluegrass twinges and twangs. I’ve loved this lady since I was a kid in the 70’s and my mother had her songbook open on her piano. She’d play me “Coat of many colors.” Still remember that almost 50 years later, and 40plus years since mom sadly passed on. One day soon I’ve got to go back to Tennessee and visit Dollywood.

Dolly….A lady who is not scared of crossing genres, a lady who still has an absolutely amazing voice! I said, "if there is a God, send me sign. Let a single meteor shoot between those two trees". A bright meteor blazed right in the centre, between those two trees. Me: there was supposed to be a meteor shower tonight...coincidence. I suppose that's the point where faith should take over. I also have experience of a horrible person getting all religious once she sniffed the end coming. Think that's pretty common. A "just in case" insurance policy.
