Yup!! Her cake is close to how my Mexican family makes it, I think I’m gonna have to incorporate that crème and sugar on top, I normally use brown sugar at the bottom of the pan, but I like her way. And I do use both the pineapple and cherry juices in the batter 🫣

@Penny I don't have to taste this cake to SEE that it looks better than the other two cakes that were presented. As a professional Chef, I don't need to taste pineapple to determine that rum and caramelized sugar are compliments to the flavor of the fruit - these are classic complementary flavors.
