Yes, they improve the suppleness of the vessels of your vascular system. Had no idea of the repair aspect. We always have blueberries in the house but I don't always indulge.
Thanks for sharing - definitely an interesting area of research! The paper concludes moderate to very low certainty in terms of the evidence reviewed in the meta-analysis on polyphenols. Only a total of 527 participants across 25 trials seems like very limited data to draw statistically significant conclusions from.
Inflammation and free radicals are needed to trigger the bodies adaptive response to exercise ( yes a small amount of muscle damage is prevented ) overall this is clearly a supplement plug. That dude in the white coat is a shill. Prove me wrong.
Nutrition is so damn important for recovery. We find it hard to prioritize proper recovery food when a bag of chips looks so enticing--we're getting better though!
I think the idea of an anabolic or recovery window has been pretty thoroughly debunked. Your body doesn't have a stopwatch in it. Just eat food whenever.
Have you ever Heard of polyphenols?
Hell no great I didn't know all but heard for the first time I need to focus on my nutrition and health wellness 👍 thanks for sharing
can you share the smoothie made at the end of the video ? :)

Nice commercial. "They pay it, we say it".
I east blueberries and add them to my recovery shakes. The best way to get them is from FOOD!
Agreed, you dont need supplements if you just eat healthy.
Plus we never know the long term effects on digestion .... I stay away from all supplements, exceptb12.
Commercial?
Is the ggv a paid sponsor ?
Some good information there Heather, adding blueberries to my food and drinking coffee is something I can manage quite easily.
Where is the research paper supporting this? Could you share a link?

Is GTN endorsing this product?
£70 for 30 servings is a little bit out of my price range 😔
It's a supplement plug. Inflammation and free radicals are needed as part of the bodies adaptation process.
Why take a supplement when you can just eat some fruit?
Fruit gives me the runs
All you need is the first 40 seconds from this video
Having "WTF" in the thumbnail doesn't really go well with the GTM brand, IMO

Great to here some new emerging science that is mainly delivered naturally to the body.
So is it safe to say the quickest way to Heather’s heart is through her stomach? 😂

Just drink real tea.
3:14 Blue Breeze, Bill Breeze . . . Triathletes should avoid these. They can incur strong tailwinds!
