I saw these motors, but wasn't sure because I heard nothing about the battle hardened new ones. I am so glad I got a notification for this video... I want to get these now haha.
I'm using those. But just a heads up I build rc helicopters alot and my pinions would get stuck all the time and the make a puller that makes it so easy to get em off.
IV been here from the start and it has been truly awesome to watch you guys grow your channel as well as your brand. I look forward to seeing your success in the future
I know this is going to be an ignorant question, but can these motors be used for direct drives as well? Or are direct drive motors specific in some way?
@@LeonCamero hi Leon, thank you for the reply - I do understand the difference between belt drives, hub motors, direct drives, gears like straightcut, helical, but I was wondering if these motors can be used somehow in a conversion to direct drive (adapter, etc)? I felt my question might be a little dumb to be honest, I'm not sure if regular motors can be converted
Was planning on asking you guys about there new motors tonight lol, quite the coincidence. But now I know where I'm getting them from. Should be perfect for the build just waiting on next paycheck.
They look great and sound like a big upgrade on torque. Do you plan to have other gearing options? What’s the width of the belts? Will they hold the torque?
Belt width for the pulleys is 15mm which we have found is plenty. We have no other motor pulley gearing options at the moment so the only way to change gearing is through the wheel pulley
@@DIYesk8Builders oh yea I wasn't debating that at all dude, was more a case of letting people here in the UK know where they could get their hands on a set similar.
@Tom -Northern Monkeys- Wilshaw Oh my bad I thought that you were just saying that these were just like the original ones and there are 170kv ones somewhere else.
Hello, can you use these motors with the standard evolve battery and connect them with the motor mount? Are there any adapters needed? Thanks for help.
Our personal customizations are the shorter shaft really. Flipsky has since adopted the braided cable sleeving and extended sensor wire, but our shaft is what makes our motor unique. The Flipsky ones (and most other motor for that matter) all have shafts that will not allow for belts covers or AT tires without modification

I Have 2 questions 1 are these motors compatible with the demon board you guys built 2 if i do put them on the demon how will it affect the overall performance
@@enjoyesk8978 True. You would have to use different trucks. I figured they would go with the more powerful motor given they are going for a power board
looks excellent i am struggling with my board at the moment, you should advertise the price as well though.. but i will go and find out now.. had to get in second haha!!
The motors look great and plug and play with no mods, but I'm still waiting for Tesla to make an electric skateboard so I'm saving my pennies. Great video guys.👍
short shafts? hmmm Most all my builds need longer shafts especially MTB builds. Im so lost on why you would make them shorter, when at least when longer you can make them shorter. If short how can we make them long..... ehhh

I got these motors from Propulsion boards and they are dope
Currently converting my NLS pro to a belt drive and I just found the motors I’m using. These are perfect.
Looking to buy these. Just want to know how exactly they are battle hardened? What has changed internally to make them battle hardened?
I found the motors that i will be using for my build :D
when i will build my esk8 I will choose your shop for sure, great work guys!
I was really considering getting the 90kv directs drive motors from torqueboards.
But i think these might be even better and more reliable .
I know this is going to be an ignorant question, but can these motors be used for direct drives as well? Or are direct drive motors specific in some way?
@@Mr-E. Direct drives aren't the same as these motors. These are external motors. Direct drive motors are directly on the trucks itself.

@@Mr-E. No they can't. You have to make them differently. Different inner pole, and different stator design.

How did these compare to the motors that come stock on the propel endeavor to pro?

Great product video, guys! I'll definitely have to look into these for my future builds!
You can buy flipsky's 170kv version of these battle hardened 6374's in the UK from Nexus Boards for £75 per motor.. better torque for hills @170kv too
Very true but these motors have custom features the the original Flipsky motors don't have

If i buy the complete mechanical kit on ur website will
these be the motors it comes with ?
Yes!
Are there any other trucks that you can attach these motors too, I don't feel stable on double kingpins
Yes, some TB 218 or CNC extended, or MBoards Extended Trucks
Hello,
can you use these motors with the standard evolve battery and connect them with the motor mount?

Are these the motors you guys are putting on the demon 2.0
3600 each so 7000 watts total is that right?
Yes and yes

How do I get this stuff in india
Are you guys going to build all your boards with these 6374 motors now?
Yes

Nope, they pop right on super easily. They are designed for it
Can I plug and play with my Ownboard Bamboo Gt?
Not sure, depends on the ESC that they use.

They don’t fit on the mounts
@@6-carboxydetrahydropterin-485 Right my apologies. I meant what's keeping you from using the larger motors on the demon build?
