You've got this girl. I was left behind in Az to sell mine and my now husband's houses. That meant working full time then getting my house and his house ready to sell. His sold fast because it was in a retirement community where his dad lived. Mine took about 4 months on the market. Those first weeks are hard while you're trying to do everything.

US and Canada real estate market is in a dump due to high interest rate. Rates in 2020 hovers around 2.5 to 3.5%. Now it hovers 6.5 to 6.75%. Rates doubled in a span of 2 years and that scares a lot of homebuyers. They don't want to double their mortgage payment. A lot of them are waiting for a rate drop and that's one of the reason why you're not getting an offer. And the 2nd reason is probably your house is over-priced. Time to lower it if you don't get any offer by the 3rd week. You don't want it to linger in the MLS as people will think something's wrong with it. Your house is clean and beautiful. But if it's over-priced as compared to the comps in your area, then it will not sell. I'm a realtor and this is one lesson I've learned.
Thank you for this! Yep, a price decrease will for sure happen if it sits. Our other house sales were during a much more favourable time for sellers and we for sure missed the timing on this one. All we could do is ride the wave and adjust as best as we can. It’s an unsure time for all 😢
Your last several videos have all either contained the word alone in the title or been about being alone. It's easy to see that it's not easy for you to be going at this alone. Aw, bless you. When you make such a great team with your life partner it really is harder to go through things on your own, both the contributions you both make and the emotional support you give each other.
What's really weird is that in the UK it's completely normal to go and view a house that's for sale while the family, pets etc are there. Of course people tidy up, and everyone is on their best behaviour, but no would blink an eyelid at you, a cat, and a dog, being present while they looked round.

Having someone show up too early or too late is very disrespectful to the people selling the house. Especially if they are living in the home when the home is being shown. I experienced this during the start of the pandemic when they only allowed viewings set up separately and in 15 minute intervals. I even had a prospective buyer park in the driveway while they viewed it. They stayed 15 minutes past their allotted time. I didn’t have another showing for hours so I just grabbed the kids and our three dogs and went up the road and just sat in a nearby park to wait. I pulled up and I patiently waited for them to leave but they just came out and stood by their car. I smiled and waved and they just gave me an ugly look. I ended up parking across the street but the problem with this was my stepson had a broken his ankle and was on crutches. So he hobbled up with me and I introduced myself as the owner to their agent. He said sorry they didn’t know. They were still in no rush to move their car. It was odd how they treated me like I was a stranger in my own home. It doesn’t matter who I am. I could have been a prospective buyer but still wouldn’t have deserved such disrespect. I hope you sell your home soon.

It would be way too stressful having to deal with orders on top of everything, so I’m glad I just have to focus on wholesale orders at this time. And my pets are happier with me than at home in a crate. Thanks for the suggestions though!

I love your content its so dirrent from others and you really get into all of the things that happen behind the camera and document everything from your best day to the days that are not. We really appreciate you sharing with us your journey and we know its super hard all the changes that you are having. One thing we do know is that Jerika can do it 💪. We are cheering for you! Take care of your mental health if you need a few days of not showing house tell your Realtor to mark those days as fully booked for viewing your property so you can have a breather. Sometimes the best ideas are made once you are fully energized and you my friend are super fast to come up with great ideas! 😊

I'm so proud of the two of you, especially you because you're taking on a big task. If I were you, I'll just pay one good price for a good moving company to start taking everything to Washington and allow your hubby to find a storage room in Washington to store your items so when it's time for you to leave everything else would be ahead of you. Selling a home is definitely a pain in the rear end! My house was on sale from October 25, 22 til January 1, 23. I have a 3 year old and a baby under 1 so it’s so challenging to keep everything so clean and keeping them happy during showings and home time. You are blessed to have a gorgeous home, sweet pets and a wonderful husband (although sadly not with you at this time). I hope you get a nice price for the home so you can move on in the US! I am sure you will do great here as well!

I am going through the same thing myself right now. It is hard and it is annoying going through these showings. Your feeling do get hurt. I’ve sat and cried too. I’ve done a couple times but I had children in the house to take my mind off things. This time I’m alone and it is really rough. I feel for you. I hope you get an offer very soon.

I wanted to let you know that some states have very odd regulations, such as "no products produced on-site," "no permission to sell across state lines," and some ingredients are entirely prohibited, such as hemp oil, where I live in Ohio. I know you and Cale are amazing business owners, but some of these subtleties are hard to find out about.

I have been subscribed to you for so long. It is hard being away from someone you love for so long. Over this last summer, my husband's grandmother passed and he was gone for a week. That was the worst week ever being without him. I wanted him to go and be with his family but it was very hard for me. I am disabled and I was just in the house by myself. I have 4 doggies, so they kept me company. I hope you get through this quickly and able to be with Cale soon! Lots of love from New Mexico!

I'm so sorry people are behaving so poorly! Want me to put a voodoo hex on them? I will. I'm not afraid of Google. LOL Here's what I think you should consider...After all your wholesales are shipped and everything is packed up, you need to get back to Cale. Your house will be in safe hand with your trusted Realtor. It's too much stress and work to pack up the dogs and cat every time a perspective buyer wants to see your beautiful home. I'm hoping you'll sell soon but I just don't know with all the turmoil going on with the banks. I mean seriously, how does a bank go belly up? They have all the money for pete's sake! You can buy timers to turn on lights so it wouldn't look empty if your leery about leaving it looking so. Bring your fur babies with you of course. I'm sure your in-laws will understand and be accommodating. I'm not sure if they have to quarantine bring them from Canada 🤔 but you could sneak them across the boarder or just tell the BPO that they identify as human, problem solved. LOL Bottom line Sweetie, you get back to Cale ASAP. You're in my thoughts and prayers hon! God Bless you 10 -fold!

Nope no family here in Calgary, but my pets are nice company and friends are a short drive away. I try to see them often to help with the loneliness ❤
I'm sorry the process has been so hard for you. As a Realtor in the US, let me give you the other side, No show's probably were a no show for their agent also, but once the agent knew they should have notified your agent. Being late and early are kind of normal. If they linger in one home, it screw's up your schedule, if we hit traffic, etc, screw's up our schedule, and the more family they bring, screws up our schedule. Early could be because they rejected a home that their Realtor scheduled and now they are moving on to the next. I know as seller it can suck, but you have to stay flexible. Moving is hard! My husband and I have made huge changes moving to a state we didn't know anyone and leaving a state where we were born. We have 3 little ones and thier emotions of the change. I promise you!! You are strong enough for this. You can do it!!! Pray on it J!!! Pray and give your worries to God. We are in our new state and seriously couldn't be happier. You will come out of it on the other side so much happier!

I feel you!! We sold our house last fall and experienced the same thing…no-shows, people showing up early or late or completely unexpected. All so frustrating (we have a cat, too, and had to take him out with us). And having to keep the house super clean every single day in case of a last-minute showing was hard sometimes. Hope everything goes quickly and smoothly for you two ❤️

Advice from a grandmother Over here if you go with open house you do not have to do private viewings, or only if after an open house a person wants to look through again, this allows you to plan your time much more effectively. Its hard enough getting the house ready for open house. Maybe she talk to your real estate agent. Do not accept early arrivals, they have a specified time the agent should be there to meet them if not no entry. Also dont accept such late at night showings thats totally unfair on you especially given the winter.
