If someone told me that I could only do one movement or die this would be it. By far my favorite….just something gritty about it that forces a runner to dry scoop, crank some pantera, and throw chalk around my garage gym…neighbors do question my sanity so I must be doing it right.
Sherry Hostetler you could come to a deadlift/clean type start position, clean the kbs up into front rack and do the thruster. You probably won’t be able to catch in a squat clean because of the transition of weight but that should work well.
A squat clean is a clean where you are required to go below parallell in the squat part. Opposite of the power clean. When its "just a clean" you can chose to do whichever of the two you like

BaKed-As not really I think. In a (clean & )press you would be allowed to pause before pressing, with thrusters the press always has to be performed directly after standing up (as fluently as possible)
@@bmstylee technique all depends on you pal. if you get injured blame yourself not the sport. u can get injured in any sport if your technique isn’t good. ive been doing crossfit for well over 2 years, no injuries whatsoever
